Kat scratched her head awkwardly, realizing she was speaking from blinding rage.

Just as Kat was yelling and kicking the gates, a white Lincoln stopped beside Kat

A middle-aged man with a square jawline alighted from the backseat and barked at Kat right then, "This is Sturgeon family property! Who do you think you are, messing around here?!"

"And who are you?" Kat snorted even as she stopped kicking the gates and glared at the man in contempt.

The man's chauffeur alighted as well, rushing to shield his boss behind himself while bellowing at Kat and Frank, "This is Mr. Wilk Sturgeon, CEO of Wilktrade! And who are you, messing around in Mr. Wilk's turf?!" Kat simply shrugged. "Wilk Sturgeon? Who?"

Her words left Wilk seething-he founded Wilktrade from the ground up and led them to Draconia's top 500 businesses.

As such, a brat daring to show him such contempt left him with seething rage!

"Listen here. I'm Kat Yego!" Kat announced herself before turning to Frank. "This is my mentor, and we've come to visit my friend Lauren Floss. If you know what's good for you, let us in to see him."

Even Kat could see that Wilk was the owner of the mansion, so instead of telling Lauren to come out, she switched to demanding to be let in instead.

"Really?"

Wilk was surprised that the pair were there to see Lauren and held

Taking a moment to calm down, he said quietly, Since you're Lauren's

friend, I won't lie to you-he's recently been taken ill and

bedridden. My daughter has been consulting doctors everywhere, but most of them were unhelpful."

Pausing for a moment, he then continued, "Lauren's a good kid, but circumstances now don't allow for a visit. Come again when he's better." With that, Wilk returned inside his car and beckoned for the chauffeur.

"Hmph. Watch yourself!"

The chauffeur brandished his knuckle at Kat and Frank before returning inside the car and driving Wilk into the mansion garage.

Kat stared blankly in turn, frowning.

She sighed ever so quietly, "Well, I guess we should go, Master Lawrence."

Seeing that Kat was giving up, Frank nodded, unable to say anything.

However, just as they were about to leave, they saw a woman driving a red convertible toward them.

"Hey, you!" Kat yelled at her, recognizing her.

The woman stopped her car and took off her shades.

"And you are...?"
