Chapter 509 Their Whereabouts Are Unknown

As Irwin had mentioned, Cedric was currently in a state of anxiety because of the Schneider family!

His study was dimly lit, and he smoked one cigarette after another. Lucas stood nearby. Even in the

muted lighting, his grave expression was evident.

Just moments ago, Lucas had reported that Natalie and Irwin were no longer in Wexford, and

their current location was unknown.

“Their whereabouts are unknown?!” Cedric bit out the words, the weight of the situation evident in his

tone.

That fateful evening, upon learning of Casey’s discoveries, they had rushed to the scene, they were too

late. Before Casey’s arrival, Irwin had already spirited Natalie away.

Where had they gone?

It was a mystery to everyone!

It was hard to fathom how, in such dire circumstances, Irwin could disappear for an entire

week.

What was Irwin’s motive for getting close to Natalie? Cedric knew better than anyone else.

Back in Verde City and Simeria, he and Stephen had been around to handle things.

But now…

What was Irwin’s plan?

“Could it be that Mr. Frazier is concerned Casey might leak information to Madam?”

but

Lucas’s anxiety was palpable. He was well aware of the dynamics surrounding Cedric. Every time he

saw Natalie and Irwin interact, he sensed the looming danger!

Cedric’s eyes darkened at the thought.

If Irwin could spirit Natalie away amidst the chaos in Wexford, then surely things were more

complicated than they appeared!

His phone flashed as he dialed Irwin’s number repeatedly.

After a long time, Irwin finally answered, “What, can’t contain yourself any longer?”

“Irwin, what exactly are you planning?” Cedric’s voice was laced with restrained anger.

Irwin retorted, “Planning?

“After all these years, she remains innocent!” Each word Cedric uttered was heavy, laced with a veiled

warning.

“Natalie is innocent,” Irwin said. “But she was also innocent…”

It had been many years.

This was the first time Irwin faced the issue head–on, and his tone was filled with unresolved

animosity.

Cedric felt a cold sweat forming on his back. Taking a deep breath, he tried to calm the storm raging

within him.

“I’ll give you the half of the documents if you bring her back,” he finally conceded, laying all his cards on

the table.

Indeed, that elusive half of the documents had been sought after by both Irwin and Cedric for years!

It was unexpected that they each held half.

Now, with Natalie revealing everything, both Cedric and Irwin found themselves embroiled in

continuous troubles because of those documents.

For Natalie, it was revenge against them.

But now, the truth was out.

No one could predict whether it would lead to a resolution or an outright explosion!

However, Cedric’s concern for Natalie was evident.

A light chuckle came from Irwin over the phone. “She holds quite the importance in your heart! Too bad

she doesn’t know.”

Cedric remained silent.

“And she never will,” Irwin reiterated coldly.

“Irwin!” Cedric’s voice carried a heavy tone.

“But what interests me now isn’t that half of the documents,” Irwin responded, his voice dripping with

arrogance.

Cedric was silent. In that dimly lit room, the danger in his eyes intensified.

So, Irwin wasn’t interested in that?

“What if I were to hand it over to the Entes family?” Cedric posed the question.

Over the years, both he and Irwin had kept secrets from the Entes family. While they sought all the

documents, the Entes family only needed half.

Handing over Cedric’s half to them would have serious repercussions for Irwin.

“Do you dare?”

Even under Cedric’s implied threat, Irwin’s laughter remained dismissive and light.
