Chapter 2051
Chapter 2051
Aaron was terrified, his whole body trembling. He quickly covered the girl's corpse with a blanket. As he sat shivering at the foot of the bed and contemplating whether to call the police, there was a knock at the door.
It was 4:00 a.m. Could it be room service? Impossible!
Aaron nervously approached the entrance, his voice trembling uncontrollably. "Wh-Who's there?!"
"Mr. Larson," came a calm, steady voice from outside. "I'm here on Mr. Iverson's orders to help you take care of your inconvenience."
Aaron tried to maintain his composure. "I... I don't know what you're talking about!"NôvelDrama.Org content rights.
"The girl that you were with last night-she should still be in your room, yes? How is she doing now?"
A warning bell went off in Aaron's mind, and he immediately opened the door.
Standing outside was a man dressed in all-black, covered from head to toe, leaving only his eyes exposed, which were as sharp and cold as an eagle's.
"How... How do you know?" Aaron was shocked, his face drained of color.
Without saying a word, the man lifted his phone and played a video in front of Aaron.
The video showed the entire incident from the previous night-Aaron violently assaulting the girl, then injecting her with drugs.
Everything was clearly captured by a hidden camera in the room. The video continued, showing him falling into a deep sleep after he was done. While he slept, the girl began convulsing, foaming at the mouth, and eventually becoming completely still as her body grew stiff.
Aaron's face turned as pale as a ghost, cold sweat soaking his back. He yanked the man into the room and locked the door.
"There was a hidden camera in the room?! Was it you? Was it Christopher?!"
Aaron grabbed the man's collar, gritting his teeth in anger, but his earlier indulgences had left him weak, his voice and strength both lacking.
The man squinted, his eyes full of dark amusement. "Should I commend you for being smart, or is the answer to your question just too obvious?"
"Christopher...! That bastard! He dared to set me up!"
Aaron's eyes turned red with fury as he swung a punch at the man's face.
But in an instant, the man easily caught his wrist and flipped him over his shoulder, slamming him onto the sofa. Pain shot through Aaron's tailbone, stars dancing in his vision.
"Mr. Larson, this isn't the time for useless rage." The man dusted his hands off, letting out a cold laugh." You should be thinking about what would happen if this video ended up in the hands of the police."
Aaron's heart pounded in his throat, his legs going weak. "What... What do you want?"
"Don't worry. I'm here to clean up this mess for you." The man walked into the bedroom and pulled a black nylon bag from his backpack. He placed the woman's body inside, zipped it up, and tied it securely. Then, with practiced efficiency, he meticulously erased all traces of the incident.
Aaron watched in stunned silence, his mouth agape. The man's calm and methodical way of handling the
corpse made it seem as if it were a routine task, like eating a meal.
"Who... Who are you?" Aaron asked, his voice shaking with fear.
"The body has been taken care of." The man did not answer, his tone cold and detached as he dragged the bodybag toward the door. "Also, Mr. Iverson asked me to deliver a message. He says that since you've chosen to board his ship, you should understand that your fates are tied. If you ever speak out of turn, Mr. Iverson won't cover for your little accident tonight."
Aaron could only watch helplessly as the man left the room, his soul leaving his body in fear.
Before dawn, a black car pulled into Pivotage.
As soon as the man stepped out of the vehicle, two of Taylor's men approached and loaded the body into their car.
Once back in his car, the man removed his mask, revealing Owen's pale, grief-stricken face, etched with exhaustion and sorrow.
After a long while, he finally picked up his phone and dialed Christopher's number.
When the call connected, he spoke respectfully, "Mr. Iverson, I've taken care of the matter as you requested."
"Taylor already informed me. You've done well."
