The Divorced Girlboss’ Regret ( Wyatt Coleman’s )

Chapter 58

Ann hooked her arm around a young man’s arm closely in front of everyone. What was the message behind this move?

Some insiders, like John, had already caught on that Wyatt was the one rumored to be Ann’s new boyfriend.

Ann was being all girlish, casually looping her arm through Wyatt’s. “Ladies and gentlemen, I’m excited to introduce Mr. Wyatt Coleman. He’s my best guy friend, and he’s been a huge support to me…”

Ann’s somewhat ambiguous statement about her “best guy friend” made it clear to the guests at the event that the two of them might be romantically involved.

Ann, shining brightly as ever, unexpectedly had herself captivated by Wyatt. What the heck was happening!

Everyone couldn’t help but seize Wyatt, as if they wanted to see through him.

“No way! It’s really him!” William slouched in his chair, feeling nothing but frustration, resentment, and a hefty dose of jealousy.

Why did Ann choose Wyatt as her boyfriend? What did he have that William didn’t?

But why did Ann have to go and pick someone like Wyatt, a total broke loser? What was her reasoning?

William’s face darkened.

“Lately, I’ve been dealing with a lot of struggles in Yonada, and Mr. Coleman has been my lifesaver. We’re all just trying to make ends meet in Yonada, so I hope you all can show Mr. Coleman some kindness. I’m really grateful for everything he’s done,” Ann said warmly, linking her arm with Wyatt’s. Original from NôvelDrama.Org.

The audience were all savvy individuals, so of course they understood Ann’s intentions and immediately chimed in.

Moreover, their gaze toward Wyatt changed as well. With Ann’s support, whatever Wyatt was before didn’t matter. He was definitely going to be a rising star in Yonada.

“That’s all?” Hayley, who was standing beside him, looked completely unimpressed.

Ann had put Wyatt on stage to use her own clout to hype him up.

In Hayley’s eyes, even if Wyatt became a nouveau riche in Yonada, he was still worthless

because he relied on Ann.

Hayley had disdain for men who relied on women for financial support.

And in that moment, Ann wrapped her arm around Wyatt’s and glanced over at Hayley next to her, as if asserting her dominance and showing off her conquest.

But Hayley didn’t flinch. Stepping forward, she squared her shoulders and met Ann’s challenging gaze head–on, her eyes brimming with contempt. It was like she was saying that the man Ann fancied was worthless in her eyes.

As Wyatt sensed the intense, unspoken clash between Ann and Hayley, they radiated strong animosity toward each other.

He wore a wry smile. Weren’t these two supposed to be partners? Why did it seem like they were enemies?

Just as Hayley thought Ann was shamelessly boosting Wyatt and looking down on him, Ann let go of Wyatt.

Addressing the audience below, she said, “Mr. Coleman is not only talented but also skilled at calligraphy. How about we have him leave a beautiful piece of calligraphy as a blessing for our opening ceremony at the joint pharmaceutical factory?”

“Awesome!” Cheers erupted from the audience below.

Wyatt was left speechless. So, it was Ann who had the idea of using his calligraphy. Wyatt chuckled as he caught Ann’s mischievous glance. She was quite the troublemaker, very cunning indeed!

Of course, being skilled at calligraphy wasn’t something to be ashamed of, especially with, Ann hyping him up so much. Wyatt immediately nodded in agreement.

“If Ms. Moore loves it so much, then I’ll show off a bit. Hand me a pen!” Wyatt stepped forward proudly.
