The CEO’S Unplanned Heir novel (Aurelia and Leopold)

Chapter 72

Chapter 72

Aurelia’s face suddenly drained of color as she quickly rose from her chair and made her way to the

balcony to make a call.

“Avery, are you alright?”

“That jerk Evan tricked me. He didn’t call me over for a casting call, but to flaunt that he got the lead

role. He humiliated me in front of everyone, even said I can’t act…”

He was clearly upset. Aurelia’s heart pounded with worry, fearing that he might do something rash.

“Avery, calm down. There will be many more opportunities in the future. Where are you right now? I’ll

come to you.”

Arnold approached her, “What happened?”

“My brother is in a bit of trouble. I’m sorry, but I have to leave.” She quickly grabbed her purse on the

couch and rushed out.

“I’ll accompany you,” Amold offered as he followed her out.

In the car, Aurelia sent a flurry of messages to her brother via WhatsApp, trying her best to comfort

him.

As the car halted at a traffic light, Arnold asked softly, “Your brother is an actor?”

“Not yet. He’s a junior in college. He should have already graduated, but he had to take two years off

due to illness. He just got back from home yesterday to continue his studies.”

She couldn’t help but scowl as she explained, “One of his old classmates made it big and even scored

a lead role. He purposely invited Avery to audition just to humiliate him. It’s utterly despicable. If such a

person could become famous, it would be a travesty!”

Arnold handed her a bottle of juice to help her cool down, “I know a decent agent. I’ll get in touch with

her and arrange a meeting with your brother.”

Her eyes lit up at his words but quickly dimmed again, “She wouldn’t happen to work under your

company, the Stirling Group, would she?”

Wouldn’t the big boss of that be Leopold? This content is © NôvelDrama.Org.

Gosh, she might have fallen into that dangerous place herself, but she wouldn’t let her brother do the

same.

Arnold cast her a deep glance, “So, you don’t want him to join the Stirling Group’s media company?”

She made a face, covering her mouth to whisper, “Your brother is too cold, like ice. I hope Avery can

have a warmer boss.”

A hint of a playful smile tugged at his lips, “Do you think I would be suitable?”

She thought he was joking and chuckled, “If you owned a media company, you should sign my brother.

It’s nice to have a backup”

Arnold chuckled, a mischievous glint in his eyes, “Deal.”

They arrived at the town square. Avery was sitting on a bench in front of the flower bed, his head hung

low and eyes red. The blow from Evan had hurt him deeply.

Aurelia wrapped an arm around his shoulders, “The more Evan wants to bring you down, the more you

have to rise. Whoever laughs last, laughs the best.”

“With your looks, why worry about not becoming famous?” Arnold’s voice came from the side.

Avery looked up, his gaze landing on Arnold, surprise flashing in his eyes, “You are…”

“This is my friend, Arno,” Aurelia introduced.

“Hi,” Avery muttered a greeting before dropping his gaze again.

Arnold handed him a business card, “My friend is an agent. This is her card. Add her on WhatsApp and

arrange a meeting for tomorrow.”

Avery took the card, his eyes widening in surprise, “Nydia from Serenity Films? She’s a top–tier agent.

Anyone in her team would be famous”

Aurelia let out a gasp of surprise. Arnold’s friend was indeed not just anyone.

“So, make sure to show her your best tomorrow. Try to get her to sign you and let her make you a

star.”

“Yeah.” Avery’s gloomy face brightened up with Arnold’s words. His handsome face glowed under the

sunlight.

Arnold’s phone kept buzzing, the WhatsApp group chat of the social circle was buzzing with activity.

[Mr. Leopold took Evelyn to the Muse Club.]

[Is Elowen going crazy?]

[The social circle is about to witness a storm.]

He checked his watch and smiled, “There’s an event at the Muse Club tonight. If you two don’t have

plans, I can take you to unwind.”
