The CEO’s Substitute Lover

Chapter 9: Be My Lover

Knowing that he had conquered her tender lips, the corners of Tredan’s mouth rose in satisfaction as he looked at Octavia Gills’ timid little face. He wanted more, as his wheat-colored palms slowly cupped her round, soft bosom, stroking it gently, making torturing Octavia Gills more than anything else. She tried to pull away from him, only to find her slender white legs already straddled by his legs, forcing her fitted wrap dress to the limit.

The slight stubbles on his chin rubbed against the delicate skin of her nape, evoking sweet memories of that night’s tumultuous encounter with each other.

His lower abdomen tightened uncontrollably at the sight of Octavia Gills who looked so seductive beneath him. As his thin lips raked the small, curved lobe of her ear, his eager breath made her body go limp, making her uncontrollably confused. She wanted to resist, yet she could not resist his sweet touch. She felt hypnotized by the passion of his repeatedly tender and sucking kisses, and could only submit to his passionate teasing.

In the empty car park, the hidden back seat pf the car became a witness to these incendiary and fiery scenes.

“President Davi, errr… umm… Let me go!”

“Let you go? Didn’t you say you wanted to make me happy?” The emptiness that felt like a black hole seemed to gnaw at her soul at once, and she took a deep breath, forcing herself to ignore the roaring fire this man was igniting in her, she tried so hard calm her frazzled nerves!

She is just replacing Lilian Drye to warm his body and soothe his mind; she is, for him, the one to do it.

He entered her in one lunge, and buried deep into her deepest recesses, as if a knife had cut through the delicate, tender cream, and merged into her delicate body, becoming one with his every movement that seemingly rooted into the deepest recesses of her soul.

Octavia Gills lay in the arms of Tredan, who was gasping for breath after a vigorous workout.

“Be my lover! Keep me company while Lilian Drye is away and bring me warmth!” A lingering Tredan suddenly made an amazing proposition.

“As payment, I will help you find the right heart donor abroad and the best doctor to treat your brother!”

Looking at a stunned Octavia Gills, Tredan explained nonchalantly, “This is the information my assistant just sent over about you. Look??I need you. There’s no rush about giving me your answer. Think about it tonight, and when you’re ready, move into the old Group Davi house tomorrow and I’ll meet you there!”

Octavia Gills only felt her tensed nerves relax as she arrived back at her home. She dropped her grand project contract and keys on the top of the shoe cabinet, kicked off her high heels that had been tormenting her feet all day, went in and lit all the lights in the living room out of habit. She took off her coat and went into the bathroom.Content © NôvelDrama.Org 2024.

Just as she was soaking in the hot tub, she noticed a bruise on her chest, a mark that reminded her of the encounter with Tredan, telling her that what happened tonight was real, and that it hadn’t been a dream.

She had never imagined that such a thing could happen to her; after all, Tredan was someone who is unreachable to her, and although she had volunteered to go abroad to look after him for two years as a child, she could never have imagined that she would one day have sex with her beloved one. And, not just once.

Octavia Gills, who was embarrassed at her thoughts, felt her face become hot as she blushed.

She buried her body in the foam, revealing only her flushed face. She couldn’t resist thinking about how Tredan’s hands caressed her as she examined the bruises on her arms. And though she was nestled in the bath alone, her body clearly remembered Tredan’s every touch.

She remembered how he had tossed her and kissed her lips, how his calloused hands had traced every inch of her skin, how he had explored her depths. And his last words, “Be my lover!” echoed in her ears. Octavia Gills covered her face with her hands, having mixed emotions and panic. She struggled with the question of whether she should agree to his ridiculous request or not.

At that very moment, her mobile phone rang. The phone number was unfamiliar, but it was easy to remember, and she thought to herself: ‘Who is it and why is person calling so late?’ Drying her hands with a towel, she answered the phone and heard a familiar, thick, magnetic male voice.

“When you come over tomorrow, buy some food, drinks and stuff, there’s nothing in the fridge at home but wine. I’ll have the driver pick you up in the morning!” Tredan ordered softly.

What is he talking about? She has not answered him yet! Why do I need to buy groceries? Why is there only wine in the fridge at home? What’s wrong with this man? He is so unsettling!

“Why is there only wine in the fridge? Doesn’t someone usually cook for you?” Octavia Gills pursued his orders while admonishing him nervously, “Don’t drink so much wine, it’s not good for you. Learn to take care of your body.”

“My assistant arranges three meals for me every day, and there are so many dinners or reception functions every day that I always eat out, so there’s the need for me to eat when I get home.”

It was nice to have someone who cared about his life, and although it was just a homely conversation, her simple words of concern made Tredan, who had just been hurt by Lilian Drye, feel incredibly warm inside.

“Hmm? Oh!” said a sluggish Octavia Gills, who was too stunned to say anything other than “Oh!” With an undisguised heartache flooding her heart, she earnestly said to Tredan on the phone, “I’ll take care of you!”

“Don’t soak in the tub too long, I’ll keep you company when you come over. See you tomorrow!” Hearing the sound of water in the tub, Tredan unconsciously thought about her attractive body and wickedly hinted at Octavia Gills. Hanging up the phone, Octavia Gills was left in awe for a few moments before coming to her senses.

He, how did he know she was soaking in the tub?! The unconscious joy in the corners of her eyes, all slowly turned into a happy, pleasant smile. She looked forward to seeing him tomorrow! To be his lover! But what she had forgotten was the fact that he had only meant for her to be his lover, and she was only taking Lilian Drye’s place while she was abroad.

Sunday morning came…

With a sweet smile on her face, Octavia Gills looked around the room. Her bags were already packed, she felt expectant but was a little nervous.

After washing her face and rinsing her mouth, she put on the lavender dress she had picked out last night, a gift Domino had given her for her birthday last year, which she had never been able to wear because it was expensive.

The doorbell rang, rousing Octavia Gills away from her wandering thoughts and back to reality, as the driver Tredan has arranged for shows up punctually at her door.

“Hello Ms. Octavia, President Davi has arranged for me to come and pick you up, are you ready?”

“Oh, oh, that… Pick it up! Let’s go!” With her face clean and void of any makeup, Octavia Gills put on her heels, pulled her small 20-inch suitcase and just moved out of her small flat.
