1:
THAT morning when he woke up, his personal phone kept ringing. And now that he has turned off the sound of it, it is constantly vibrating in his pocket.
Tsk, what a huge pest brat.
Yep, Blue just ignores that because he knows that the only one with the guts to call him incessantly is his brat cousin, Haya. Whatever she wants to tell him, all she has to do is get into the office early and talk to him personally in the company whose director is their grandfather.
“Good morning, Sir, CEO.”
“‘Morning, Boss, CEO.”
“Hello, Sir Blue, good morning!”
All those morning greetings ignored by the CEO. He just kept on walking into the vast company he owned. But of course, his cousin who is the CCEO of their company is behind him so it’s up to him to return the greetings to the employees.
It is too wasteful of time to do so. Greeting and paying attention to employees on a daily basis, minute by minute whenever someone encounters him within the company, so he no longer wastes time paying attention to them.
The employees are also used to it. They are used to the CEO’s moves. In fact, every time he comes to his own company they are torn apart to give him way.
“Have you read Haya’s message?” Red said to him when they stopped in front of the door of the private elevator which just a few seconds later opened, and the two of them entered.
“What message?”Text © owned by NôvelDrama.Org.
“She didn’t tell me the details. But she said it’s important and I just need to tell you to pay attention, as soon as possible.”
“What’s the matter with Haya? She’s too worried now,” he said, referring to their only lady cousin, Haya Chevvy.
Red just laughed at what he said and then shrugged his shoulders.
“There she goes again. Last time she did that, she just brought us to a bar. because she got into a fight, tsk, that brat really is,” he said afterward as they exited the elevator because it had already stopped and opened on the floor where their respective office was located.
He heard his cousin chuckling, almost at the same time they were also holding and turning the doorknob of their adjacent offices, when someone rushed near them- their subject – Haya. Yep, with a worried face. He just shook his head when he thought where they were going to go.
“How dare you, Blue! You’re ignoring my call, what if I’m on the brink of death, you can’t even be trusted!” his cousin immediately scolded him.
Alright, her arrival stopped them from entering their respective offices.
His eyebrows raised at her. “It’s just, here you are now, safe and sound- oh, may I add, you’re even very noisy,” he said sarcastically.
Red chuckled. “When the two of you really met, you quarrel,”
“Correction, it’s just Haya who likes to quarrel,” he replied, he just turned his back on them after.
“Hey, I’m still talking!”
“You crazy bratty heiress, I don’t care,” he ignored her.
He took off his coat when he finally entered his office, he rolled up the sleeves of his polo shirt up to his elbows and pretended that he was going to start working even though his brat cousin was in front of him. She had no plans to leave him. In fact, she even sat down and crossed her legs with the lazy boy that’s in front of his office table.
“You- will you please spare me with your sarcasm, it’s important for me to say, listen-”
“Is that as important as our company? Because as you can see, Ms. Haya, work should be done in the office,” he declared to the cousin, he didn’t even look at her, he just continued pretending to check on the papers on his desk.
“Blue Dodge-” The CEO’s secretary’s knock stopped what his cousin was supposed to say.
They looked at the door that spat out his secretary.
“Excuse me for a while, Ms. Haya. Sir, your coffee.”
“Thanks,” he simply replied to his secretary, who laid on his table the coffee she had brewed for him.
When his secretary turned around, he even offered the cup of coffee to his cousin, Haya, “Coffee? You know, my secretary brewed really well. You must try it.” He smirked when she just circled her eyeballs at him.
But even before he sipped his coffee, he was surprised, even Haya, because someone entered his office. Someone who had never come to his office that way, opened the door of his office like that, banging it soundly without a warning knock!
It is Don Vladimir Henson, their grandfather.
Next to him was Red and his two bodyguards who were always with him.
“Grandpops-”
“What is this?!” Don Vladimir scoffed at him, throwing his IPad on his table.
“Grandpops, will you please chill?” Red waved to their grandfather.
“Chill? You want me to chill ?!” But it seems that when the CCEO said that, the old don’s anger flared up even more.
Their grandfather was angry. For a reasons he did not yet know. He got up from the swivel chair he was sitting in to face the don.
Haya sighed loudly when their grandfather slapped his forehead. He gritted his teeth.
His cousin, Haya, immediately hugged the don to calm him down, same as did by the CCEO. But the don was not shaken.
“Grandpops, oh, please, stop it!” Haya hysterically weaned their grandfather.
He struggled to meet their grandfather’s angry eyes. “Grandpops … why?” He really had no idea, because he hadn’t even glanced at what he wanted to see on the IPad because he’s already slapped him hard, damn it!
“Are you gay, Blue Dodge Henson, huh? Tell me!” the don shouted angrily at him.
“Grandpops …”
“Grandpops, please, that’s enough!” The don was prevented by his cousins.
Oh, he must be thankful and there’s Don Vladimir’s only granddaughter, Haya, the don forced himself to calm down because of his brat cousin’s whining. If there’s one person who can calm their grandfather down, it’s her. Since they were little and obviously until now.
“You son of a bullshit! Look! Watch how embarrassing you are!”
And there, he only understood the source of their grandfather’s anger when he bent down and picked up the IPad he had thrown on his desk earlier.
“Grandpops, I can explain-”
“Explain? Really? Hah! How can you explain that mess to me?! By stating your true sexual preference, huh?!”
“Of course, t – this is not true, Grandpops!”
The don gritted his teeth “Just make sure it is not!”
“I’ll fix all this, today. Don’t worry.”
“I’ve fixed that, Blue Dodge. What do you think of me? Lack of skill? I knew that before you! I fixed it before that mess spread!”
He just bowed. He clenched both his fists.
Damn, those news are untrue. He is not gay. It’s normal for their grandfather to be really angry at that news because his last name was dragged out. The almighty Don Vladimir does not want their name to be tarnished.
“I’m sorry, Granpops.” That’s all he can say to him, apologize even if he didn’t do anything wrong.
Damn those reporters! Damn those stupid people who have done nothing but write him in the article of shit! Damn him for being too arrogant too. If it wasn’t for his arrogant habit, they wouldn’t have ended up in this situation, for sure.
“You better be!” Their grandfather shouted at him again. He turned his back, but even before he could get out of the door, he turned around at them, and ordered, “You can start to pack your things and leave this office now!”
Haya gasped loudly again at what she heard. “But, Granpops, he’s our CEO!”
“Come on, Haya, we have a CCEO who can replace the CEO while it’s gone,” the don said emphatically.
His fists only tightened in annoyance. He also secretly gritted his teeth.
“Grandpops …” Red’s voice immediately protested. “That is… absurd.”
“No. I’m still the director of the company, I’m still your grandfather so, my order will obey here, no matter what.” The don glanced at him. “Start leaving your office and don’t come back here or to my house without a wife or child who can prove your gender as a real man, Blue Dodge Henson.”
“A-Are you a homophobic…?” he deliberately stopped their grandfather from turning his back again.
The don scoffed. “You know that I’m not. I’m not against gays or on third sex, to be exact. But it’s a different matter if one of my grandsons is involved.”
Yeah, right, he just replied sarcastically in his mind when the don left his office completely.
