The Billionaire’s Mistaken Prostitute Grief

Chapter 35

Amelia’s Point Of View.

Sir Camden raised his eyebrows, “You’re not in a good terms?” he asked and I nodded.

“Yes, as well as my dad and their daughter,” I answered.

Sir Camden nodded and sighed before speaking. “If I were you, I’ll be upset with my dad too. I can’t imagine your pain, just a few months passed after your mom died, and your dad remarried,” he said, I just smiled sadly.

“It’s true that it’s hard and painful, but now I can say that I’m happy because of Caleb and Aria,” I said with a smile and they smiled.

Ma’am Candeza smiled so I looked at her. “I heard from Chase that you went abroad and you stayed there until you gave birth,” she said. “I can’t believe you survived that especially since you were alone. And as a mother, I know the hardships of giving birth and caring.”

I nodded and ate a steak before answering. “Your hardship is no joke,” I said while laughing. “It’s very hard, especially since I don’t know anything about parenting, and there is also a painful part of me because I hope that if mom was still alive, she would have taught me how to take care of my child and raise them properly,” I added.

“Oh! I think you raised Caleb and Aria properly,” Celine said and Calix agreed so I smiled at them both and thanked them.

“My friend Sandy is also the one who helped me in taking care of the two, but when she came back from here, I really had to hire a babysitter because I might have to divide my body in two just to take care of the two of them,” I added and smile. “And with that, I gradually got used to it because there was nothing I could do but accept that I was now a mother.”

Chase’s mom smiled and spoke. “I know your situation with my son is complicated, because you only had a one-night stand,” she said. “But do you have a chance to become a family? It’s like you’re going to get married and live in the same house.”

Sir Camden nodded. “It’s hard to grow up without a father, and I know, Amelia. You don’t want your children to experience that,” he said.

I was not able to speak immediately, if he is going to be the only father of my children, I would prefer that they never experience having a father.

And that’s how selfish I am.

“I don’t think I’m open to a romantic relationship right now, because I just got over a break up. We were going to get married but he cheated on me,” I said and tried to smile, I saw them surprise. “That’s why, I can’t blame myself if I have a hard time getting to know someone new.”

“You can start slowly,” said Sir Camden.

“I don’t think demo-Chase wants that thing either,” I promised and looked at the demon man, I saw the confusion on his face but he spoke.

“Yes, you know I still haven’t moved on from Anika,” Chase said and everyone fell silent, even I didn’t know what to say.RêAd lat𝙚St chapters at Novel(D)ra/ma.Org Only
