Chapter 100
Chapter 100
His arm was burning with pain, but his mind was clear. He recognized the figure approaching him, “You?”
She was the waitress from Red Jack Club.
Allison had a first–aid kit in her hands. Wearing her dress made it inconvenient to bend over, so she knelt down on the carpet, pulled out some bandages and alcohol, and began to treat his wound. She never imagined he’d actually hurt himself this badly.
The wound was deep and bleeding heavily.
Allison’s palm was warm with his blood, her fingers were trembling.
She took a deep breath, seemingly a bit scared.
“Mr. Crane, it might hurt a bit, just bear with it,” she said, pressing the alcohol–soaked cotton ball onto his wound. For a moment, she squeezed her eyes shut, as if she didn’t dare to look.
Aidan gave a cold laugh, “You’re scared, yet you came back?”
Allison thought she shouldn’t have returned either, “You’re right, I will mind my own business from now on.”
Aidan found this woman peculiar. She was naive and innocent. He had been drugged, lost control of himself, and nearly forced her to help relieve his desires. But looking into her clear, bright eyes, Aidan sobered up. The drug was potent, so he had to stab himself. Although it wasn’t fatal, it was bleeding. He had experienced this kind of pain before. He had once broken his leg, this was just a minor injury in comparison.
What he didn’t expect was that this woman came back..
She really was a fool, but…
Aidan watched her closed eyes, her thick lashes trembling like butterfly wings. Her naive and kind demeanor made his heart soften.
He took the alcohol–soaked cotton ball and bandages from her hands and began treating his wound himself, “You really are a busybody!”
Allison stood up, “Then I won’t bother you anymore.”
Since he could treat his wound himself, she assumed he would be fine.
Allison reached the door and heard Aidan’s voice from behind, “Call Parker over.”
Allison knew Parker, she nodded.
She first went to the washroom to wash her hands, then found Parker and briefly told him what happened. Parker’s face changed, “Thank you
“It’s okay, Mr. Crane is waiting for you, you should go quickly.”
Parker pushed open the door of the room and was hit with the smell of blood.
He was taken aback, quickly stepping over to Aidan, “Mr. Crane.”
What he saw was bloodstains on the carpet, and Aidan’s arm, now wrapped in white gauze. The bleeding had stopped, Aidan’s lips were pale, he looked at Parker, “Find out what happened tonight!”
Parker helped Aidan up, feeling his body hot as a furnace.
“You…”
Although the pain had sobered him up, the effects of the drug hadn’t subsided. Aidan struggled to say, “Bring a woman, a clean
one.”
“Yes!” Parker nodded.
Ten minutes later, a black Bentley limousine slowly drove into the street.
At night, there weren’t many cars on Serenity Avenue. Under a long stretch of red lights, a black car stopped. Parker looked up into the rearview mirror, the front and back seats were completely separated by a partition. From the other side of the partition, came the faint sounds of a woman’s breath.
“My name is… Deanna…”
Then, a man’s rough voice interrupted her, “I don’t need to know your name!”
“Ah, your arm is bleeding…”
