The Billionaire Who Stole My Heart

Chapter 1004

Brittany dropped her bag, pulled out a chair, and sat down. "I've talked it over with Dad. I'll be moving to headquarters to start from a middle management position next semester."

Her meteoric rise at YULI had sufficiently proven her capabilities. The distant relatives had their reservations, but none dared challenge Yuri. Moreover, in just a mere six months, Brittany had turned YULI from a loss to a profit, a testament to her formidable skills.

Who would dare confront her now?

At headquarters?

Saskia bit her lip, looking towards Yuri. "Dad, I've just finished maternity leave. I think I should join Brittany to learn the ropes, so I can help her out later on. Is that okay?"

Yuri knew what Saskia was hinting at. In front of Gabriel Brandt, it was hard to deny her request.

What mattered more was Saskia's desire to take over the family business, though he wondered if she really had the chops for it.

After a moment of thought, he agreed. "Alright, then you shall join her."

Brittany had no objections.

Saskia grinned, vowing to excel and show the Lynette family her strengths.

Holden, however, had a piece of advice. "Saskia, since you're heading to headquarters, remember to keep your ego in check. Don't play petty games; just focus on your work." Saskia crisply replied, "I understand."

After dinner, Brittany and Yuri went upstairs to discuss the next steps.

Gabriel was putting the kids to bed. "You just finished your maternity leave, and you're already heading back to work. Are you sure you can handle it?"

"If I don't go back now, I might never return," she said lightly.Nôvel(D)ra/ma.Org exclusive © material.

Saskia chuckled. "Dad only cares about Brittany. I need to carve out my own space."

Gabriel sighed. "Just focus on doing a good job."

Brittany had handed over the day-to-day operations of YULI to professionals.

Jared, tasting success, had become incredibly driven and even brought many constructive suggestions to the table. His help was crucial in YULI's rapid progress. He expressed a desire to join Brittany at headquarters.

Brittany agreed.

Headquarters was a complex environment. Yuri had made it clear that Brittany would receive no special treatment.

Brittany took charge of the largest

hotel under the Lynette

Conglomerate and joined the

customer service department. This was new territory for her, having previously worked in design and real estate.

On her first day at the hotel, the head of customer service gave her a cold reception and even tried to

intimidate her. Brittany spent an hour reflecting before seeking out a seasoned employee to learn more about the department. The veteran employee was helpful and shared everything with Brittany. Armed with this new understanding, Brittany began to make her mark.

"Ms. Lynette, there's a disturbance in the penthouse suite again."

Employee Fleur came in, looking worried. "You might want to check it out."

"Alright, I'm on my way."

Brittany and Fleur headed straight to the penthouse.

The door was tightly shut. Brittany put on her gentlest smile and knocked. "Hello, I'm Brittany, the manager of customer service. How may I assist you today?" With a bang, the door swung open.

"You're the manager of customer service?" A middle-aged man inside sneered. "It's amazing how young women can climb to such positions!"

Brittany had dealt with her share of challenging guests over the past few weeks. This type of disrespect was not uncommon.

"Good evening, sir. How may I assist you?"

"There's hair on the carpet. Shouldn't you explain this to me?"

"Sir, may I offer you another suite free of charge? I'll also take serious actions against the staff responsible for cleaning this suite. Please rest assured."

The man smiled. "Good, you should have been this accommodating from the start. I wouldn't have had to complain."

"Fleur, please assist this gentleman with his new accommodations."

"Right away, Ms. Lynette."

As the guest was led away, Brittany contacted the cleaning department. "Who was responsible for cleaning the penthouse? There's hair on the carpet. Deduct a day's pay, and if it happens again, it's a dismissal. Now, clean it again."

Brittany made the call as she waited for the elevator.
