***CASSY’S POV**

It was a bright new day, I turned severally on the bed. I woke up with missed feelings, today I will be going to my new school to start the academic journey. I had missed feelings because the other part of me was glad that I will be going to the school, while the other part of me was sad that I still had Ace to bother my life.

I went to the house to check the day I will be starting school. I have been so happy that I was able to get the scholarship. It has always been a dream come through and I can’t wait to start schooling. It’s going to be a great experience for me.

I was happy till the thoughts of staying under the same roof with Ace creeped into my mind again, the happiness and smiles on my face was replaced with deep thoughts and sadness, but I know that I can’t help it. This is the only job I can be offered, no one would like to employ someone without working experience or would like to have a student work for her. I will forever be grateful to Mrs Sophia for her help and for allowing me to go to school while working here.

I was so sad because Ace or whatever he calls himself is about to ruin my joy and turn my happiness into a nightmare, I have sworn never to allow him do that to me,, I will do everything in my power not to get sacked by Mrs Sophia, even though I can’t deny the fact that Ace is undeniably handsome and sexy, but I need to focus on my job and shove my feelings aside, moreover he’s a fuck boy who has no feelings for girls except to fuck them and brag about it.

I got into the house and picked up some of the items I will be needing. I checked for myself in the mirror. i looked at my wristwatch to see the time and it was already close to the time I should be heading to the school for the final registrations, I was glad that Mrs Sophia agreed to give me a part of my salary so that I could use it to work on some of the payments I will be needing in the school. She’s such a nice woman and I made up my mind not to disappoint her, but the thoughts of her son are my major challenge.

I shoved the thoughts off my head and went out of the house to head to the school.

“I’m going to make it, no matter what it takes,” I said to myself reassuringly.

I got out of the house and boarded a bus to the school. It was quite a smooth ride. I looked out through the window admiring the streets. My face was filled with smiles as I thought I was going to start schooling in my dream University. I was very grateful to ma’am Alice, but the thoughts of her death made me really sad.

Soon, we got to the school and I alighted from the bus.

I looked at the signpost, the name of the university was boldly written, I hugged my books and walked into the university premises, everywhere was buzzing with activities. I saw different students in the school, mostly in groups laughing.

My phone beeped and I checked to see Karen was calling.

“Hey girl, I’m in the university already, where are you?” she said from the other end of the phone.

“I’m also in the school, take your hand up so that I can find you,” I replied excitedly.

I was glad that Karen was in the school already and we get the opportunity to be closer to each other since we will be attending the same university, I will be studying Arts.

“Hey Cassey, it’s good to see you babes,” Karen and I hugged tightly.

“It’s good to see you too I must admit, you look really good, anyway you always look good,” I said smiling.

Karen was wearing a pink T-shirt and ripped jeans, she was looking sexy, she always has a thing for clothes that exposes her body.

“Hey, let’s go check out the registration centers,” Karen said.

As we left for the registration center. Karen and I held hands together and walked to where the other students were gathered for the registration.

“Karen, can you please get some of the documents from my bag?” I beckoned to Karen but I didn’t get any response from her. I repeated myself but it was obvious her attention was fixed somewhere.

She had a fixed gaze on someone at the extreme. I followed her face and to my surprise, it was Ace.

“What the heck is he doing here?” I asked in confusion.

“Oh, he’s a student here,” I said to myself.

“Maybe you two planned on coming here together,” Karen teased.

“Hey, you better don’t say that,” I replied, while Karen kept laughing at me.

I wondered why Ace had to be everywhere that I happen to be, it was enough punishment already that he’s my boss’s son, he’s making life difficult for me already in the house and now I would have to face him again in the school, it was really heartbreaking and same time very annoying to see him in the same university.

I could notice that a lot of girls flocked around him and the other girls tried to get his attention. Ace is a cute guy no doubt, but his attitude is sickening and he’s nothing but a fuck boy who’s mission to get into the pant or every girl..

I knew that studying in the same school with him would be hell for me.

I looked again in the direction he was standing and I saw him holding a girl by her waist. He always had that mischievous smile on his face, showing the bad boy he is. I kept wondering what will become of me, studying in the same school as Ace.
