Chapter 154
Chapter 154
The dew drops pearl bracelet illuminated a blue glow, and at the same time, Arnold’s eyes also turned blue.
After a short while, Arnold fell unconscious but clung to the bracelet in his hand. “What happened?” Sheridan panicked, kneeling beside her eldest brother.
Alpha Nick placed Daisy gently on the floor and squatted before Arnold, checking his pulse. “He’s fine. I guess it’s just fatigue. I’ll carry him to the guest room.
Lifting Arnold on his shoulder, Alpha Nick climbed the stairs and bumped into Goldie and Dustin.
They seemed to have just woken up from sleep, but Alpha Nick was more concerned about Goldie, asking her,
“Goldie, are you alright? Don’t you need more rest?” Alpha Nick was very worried about her pregnancy, as he was not able to stay by Sheridan’s side during her time.
He had little to no idea of what to expect during times like this.
Goldie was feeling better, and a smile stretched her lips. “I’m hungry and I need to stretch my legs, so I’m going to the kitchen to get something to

eat.”
Alpha Nick would have told her to allow the maids to do it, but hearing she wanted to stretch her legs, he did not probe further as Goldie asked him.
“Is that Arnold? What happened to him?”
“He came here for the pearl bracelet. Turns out it belongs to Sheridan’s mom. Look how tightly he’s holding it even though asleep? A lot has been happening, and he’s very tired,” Alpha Nick summarized, not wanting to burden her with the details.
Dustin equally did not want to speak about stressful stuff in front of her, deciding not to ask any questions in front of Goldie.
“How come nobody told us? I would call my parents to check if everything is alright,” Goldie said worriedly, about to call her mother on the phone, but Alpha Nick stopped her.
“Relax. Sheridan is taking care of everything, Dustin, make sure she eats and rests well, understand?”
“Yes, Alpha,” Dustin readily agreed. Upstodatee from Novel(D)ra/m/a.O(r)g
When Alpha Nick returned after putting Arnold on the bed, Sheridan was smiling on the phone with Daisy in her arms. Reaching out, Alpha Nick took Daisy from her and asked,
“I’m happy to see you smile like this, but care to share?”
Sheridan did not waste time in downloading to him every piece of information she gathered from her call with her mother.
“All my seven sisters–in–law are fine, including my father. Everything is running smoothly now. I told mom that Arnold would spend the night here.”
Good news was always medicine to the soul, and indeed, Nick was very happy about this; otherwise, he was certain Sheridan would have insisted on traveling to the Moonshine Pack.
Thanks to Daisy always being with him, Sheridan was not pressured sexually like before. Like right now, Nick wanted her so much but had to wait for Daisy to fall asleep before making any advances, or the little girl would ruin it all for him.
“I’m so glad to hear this.”
The two embraced, and Daisy wrapped her arms around both parents‘ neck when their sweet moment was interrupted by a strange sound. “Mmmm, this is delicious,” Goldie moaned from the kitchen.
Sheridan broke from the hug and went to check. Dismay contoured her face when she saw Goldie munching on kiwi.
The sound made her perceive that perhaps Goldie and Dustin were in the middle of something sensual, but rather, it was just food.
“Goldie, what is so delicious about passion fruit?” Sheridan did not hide her annoyance as she asked. Goldie offered it to her.
“Taste it, Sherry, you will be amazed.”
Sheridan did not refuse, Goldie scooped out some of the edible seeds with a spoon and offered it to her. She tasted it, but her reaction was rather off, a total contrast to that of Goldie.
“What is so delicious about this? It’s rather tart.” Annoyance was still dripping from her voice as she spoke. Goldie shook her head in equal dismay.
“I guess there’s something wrong with your taste buds,” she shrugged. Sheridan understood that it was her pregnancy hormones and played along.
“Yeah, sure,
it’s
my taste buds.”
Seven months down the line, the Moonshine Pack welcomed seven babies at a go. Having lived for years without the cry of a child in the pack house, there was a great celebration as Sheridan’s seven brothers and their mates presented their babies to the pack members and invited guests. “Give me,” Daisy began yelling from where she sat with her father, stretching her hand towards the babies, her cousins.
Everyone laughed as she insisted on carrying each baby during the event. It was a show of pure love as she held each cousin in her tiny arms.
Daisy was almost two years old, but her vocabulary could be compared to that of a four–year–old.
“He’s cute, just like me,” she giggled, as she held Arnold’s son, Junior, in her arms, as the guests, her parents, and grandparents laughed.
Due to many babies born together and in order to not mix them up or confuse their names, their grandfather, the Alpha King, suggested that each baby was the junior of their father.
As such, Henry, Sheridan’s third brother’s son, was also called Henry Jr. As Daisy returned Atlas Jr., she took Iggy Jr., holding him close to her chest like she did the others.
Her mannerisms bought her the admiration of onlookers and guests from far and near, coupled with the fact that she had her father’s thick black curly hair.
Daisy was just too adorable, earning the love and admiration of most people present.
Sheridan’s seven brothers all had baby boys, earning different forms of analysis from everyone.
“I guess Daisy would be protected by her seven strong cousins,” Arnold said jokingly. Sheridan laughed but agreed.
“Just like how I was pampered by all of you.”
Daisy seemed to love the idea but suddenly ran into the midst of the other guests without anyone pursuing her.
Ducking under the chairs, she stuffed her tiny fingers into the eyes of one of the male guests as the person was holding a gun, about to fire. Sheridan’s heart dropped into her stomach when she saw who the man had targeted. At the same time, Goldie’s labor had kicked in, and her cries could be heard by all.
