TAMING THE BEAST IN HIM ( His Red Phoenix )

Axion on the other hand started looking for Phoenix after noticing she wasn’t at the party anymore. He bumped into Gianna.

” Have you seen Phoenix? ” He asked.

” No. Did something happen? ” Gianna questioned back, feigning worry.

” No ” Was all Axion said to her and left.

BACK AT THE RESTROOM

” Enough!! ” Phoenix roared in rage, pushing Jason away with all her might and that sent him flying across the room and slamming to the wall. He plopped to the floor with a loud thud, yelling out in pain.

Jason looked at her and fear engulfed him on seeing her burning red eyes. Reaching out her hand, Phoenix used her power to start levitating Jason and bringing him to herself.

” Calm down Phoenix, we can talk this out, can’t we? ” Jason chuckled nervously. Making sure he was close, Phoenix grabbed his neck tight, glaring at him in rage.

Jason’s neck started burning up making him yell and scream in anguish, struggling to break from Phoenix’s tight grip but he was nowhere near to her strength.

” Please, I’m sorry Phoenix. I don’t know what entered into me, I promise not to do it again, please ” He wailed as it felt as though his inner body was on fire.

Widening her other hand, a fireball appeared in it. And just when she was about to set Jason on fire, a knock came on the door, halting her.

She let go of Jason and he plunged to the floor like a lifeless thing.

” Never… mess with a Phoenix in your life ” She snarled. Holding the handle of the door, it melted and she opened it. Right at the door was Gianna who flinched on seeing Phoenix. Phoenix ignored her and left.

Gianna was even more shocked when she saw Jason lifeless on the floor. She quickly went after Phoenix.

Exhaling deeply, Phoenix’s eyes went back to normal as her anger subsided. Gianna caught up with her and clenched her hand immediately, pulling her back.

” What did you do to Jason? ” She demanded with a stern look. Phoenix shoved her hand off.

” I showed him his place,” She said and turned to continue heading back to the party but Gianna pulled her back again.

” You fucking killed him! How is that showing him his place?! ” Phoenix shot her a hard glare.

” Never grab my hand again ” She warned and turned. This time around, Gianna yanked her hair, pulling it hard. Phoenix’s anger flared up and she pushed her off, landing a harsh slap on her face. Gianna gasped in shock, holding her burning cheek.

” You rascal! ” She bellowed and made to slap Phoenix back but Phoenix held her hand and pushed it off. She raised her hand to slap her again when,

” Phoenix! ” A husky voice snapped, making her turn. And there was Axion, glaring at her angrily with widened eyes. Immediately Gianna saw Axion, she started whimpering, holding her cheek.

Axion rushed to her.

” Gianna, are you ok? ” He asked and Gianna looked at him with teary eyes. Seeing her tears, Axion scowled at Phoenix.

” What is wrong with you Phoenix? ”

” How about you ask her what’s wrong with her! ” Phoenix snapped. Axion looked at Gianna.

” What happened? ” He inquired.

” I… headed to the restroom to relieve myself and when I entered… I saw Phoenix and Jason making out. I went after her to confront her and… she started hitting me ” Gianna cried out. Both Axion’s and Phoenix’s eyes broadened in shock.

” What?! ” Both of them exclaimed at the same time but with different emotions. Phoenix was shocked because of the lie while Axion was devastated. Axion shot Phoenix a hateful glare.

” Axion, she’s lying. That has nothing to do with me slapping her ” Phoenix defended immediately but Axiom won’t stop glaring at her indicating he didn’t believe what she said.

” You don’t believe me, do you? ” Phoenix let out a painful scoff as her eyes flooded with tears.

” Just forget it ” She mumbled and left. Axion clenched his fist, vibrating in anger. Thinking of what Gianna said, he felt an unusual pain stab his heart. And when he couldn’t hold back his anger, he went after Phoenix.

Immediately he left, an evil smirk crept on Gianna’s lips as she wiped her counterfeit tears.

” Just like I planned it ” She laughed.

Phoenix left the party, trying to fight the tears threatening to fall. She just couldn’t believe Axion chose to accept what Gianna said.

Does he think she’s that type of person?

Axion also left the party, storming towards Phoenix, and immediately he caught up with her, he clutched her wrist, dragging her to the car.

” Let me go Axion ” Phoenix barked but Axion ignored her. Getting to the car, he opened the door and pushed her inside, slamming it close. He entered the driver’s seat and drove off.

There was silence between the two as Axion drove with speed, his jaws tightened in anger while Phoenix looked away angrily, with folded arms.

Axion pulled a brake on getting to the house and stepped out. Walking over to the other side, he opened the door and pulled Phoenix out, dragging her inside.

” Stop hurting me Axion! ” Phoenix finally pushed his hand off, breathing in irritation. Axion ran his hand through his hair, trying to control his anger.

” Just… Just one freaky party ” He began.

” I gave you… one… simple instruction to behave, just so for me to leave and you headed to the restroom to make out with a random guy you met. Jason of all people, seriously Phoenix?! ” He yelled, not being able to hold back his anger. Phoenix finally allowed her tears to fall.

She wasn’t hurt because Axion was yelling at her but because of the word spilling out of his mouth.

” Tell me, how much did he pay you that made you abandon the party and go fuck with him instead, huh?! Where is your self-respect?! ” Phoenix pressed her lips together, glaring at Axion.

” What am I even saying? ” Axion sneered.

” Isn’t it your job to satisfy despicable men? You satisfy them at the club and wherever you go. Because it is your passion and that’s the only thing you’re ever good at! ” Phoenix shut him up immediately with a slap making Axion shoot her a dangerous glare but she didn’t care. She has heard enough of his absurdity.

” Shut up, Axion, just shut up! ” She snapped.

” Is there any other thing that gives you more joy apart from belittling and insulting me at every slightest chance? Tell me?! ” She demanded, not able to hold back her tears.

” Are my sins the most unforgivable, huh? How many times will I warn you to never question my dignity just because I was a stripper?! ”

” Why is it that you’ve never for once believe me but find it so easy to accept whatever anyone else says about me without even trying to figure out the truth?! ”

Axion snorted, grabbing her arm and pulling her to himself.

” If what Gianna isn’t the truth, then tell me what you were doing in the restroom with that jerk? ”

” He fucking tried raping me, Axion! ” Phoenix hollered.

” I was almost sexually assaulted by him today! ”

Axion’s eyes widened in great horror and he didn’t even realize it when he let go of Phoenix’s arm. He felt a shock in his brain.

” What? ” It came out softly as he stared at Phoenix who was crying, in disbelief.

” But why will you care anyway? It is always and will always remain my fault in your eyes just because I’m a stripper ” Phoenix sniffed.

” But even as a stripper, I also have feelings. I always get hurt and disrespected no matter how much I try to show people who I truly am… and it hurts, Axion ”

” I hate you ” Phoenix spat and left Axion who couldn’t stop staring at her with parted lips as she stormed upstairs.

Gianna on the other hand was standing by the door, listening and watching the two, a delighted grin on her lips.

After the argument between them, Phoenix refused to go back upstairs. She just couldn’t stand seeing Axion as it will only remind her of all the hurtful words he said and will anger her the more. She decided to sleep on the couch downstairs instead.

Axion on the other hand couldn’t stop thinking about what Phoenix told him. Just imagining Jason trying to force himself on Phoenix irritated him badly.

” How dare that dickwit try to touch my Phoenix? ” He fumed. He took out his phone and dialed a number.

THE NEXT DAY

Jason can be seen staggering out of a bar, drunk. He stopped after seeing Axion standing by his car like he has been waiting for him. Jason let out a dopey grin, lurching towards him.

” Hey, what are you doing here, Axion? What to grab some alcohol? ” He asked on getting to him.

To his surprise, Axion only responded him with a hard punch on his face, making him stumble back greatly, nearly landing with his butt on the floor. He scoffed, glaring at Axion.

” You scum…” He made to punch him but Axion gave him another jab. This time around he crouched to the floor like a weightless thing.

Axion reached out and grabbed his collar, jerking him up and pinning him to the car.

” How dare you try touching my Phoenix yesterday? ” Axion demanded, shooting him a dangerous and knee quivering glare. Jason only burst out in a mockery laugh, agitating Axion the more.

” I was horny and needed to gratify my urge. Besides, isn’t that her job? ” He scoffed. What he said made Axiom lose it and started punching his face mercilessly. He made sure to break his nose and made sure his mouth was bleeding before letting him go.

Jason only groaned and moaned in pain.

” You rascal! ” He spat out some blood.

” I’ll file a case against you for physical abuse! I’ll make sure you rot in jail ” He ranted. Axion gripped his collar and pulled him closer.

” And I will file a case against you for sexual molestation. Phoenix will be the one to testify against you. Now, who in the two of us will rot in prison according to the law? ” Axion questioned, his eyes peering into Jason’s.

” Next time you come across Phoenix, avoid her. Don’t spare her a glance talk more of trying to touch her. And never you try to force yourself on a woman ”

With that, Axion let go of his collar, pushing him away to one side and Jason staggered to the floor.

Entering his car, a contented smile crept on Axion’s lips. He has never been so proud of himself as he is now. Brushing the smile off, he stirred up the engine and drove off, leaving Jason on the floor, staring at his car.
