skills for a few days is quite impressive. This is enough to prove that she has talent. Given time, she's

sure to become an embroidery master. Nevertheless, this doesn't change the fact that she'll lose in the

competition. The Yrina family will be in deep trouble if she loses. Not only do they have to give up the

title of World's Best Embroidery, but they also have to withdraw from the international market and stay

out of the limelight. If that were to truly happen, the Yrina family would be nothing more than just a

shadow of its former self.”

“For all we know, Bailey could have bribed the judges. Since she dares to compete, it shows that she's

fully prepared. Don't forget, the competition between the two top embroidery families was held merely

to make her a bridal gown. Since she's now a disciple of the Yrina family, the disciples from the family

might have helped her with the embroidery. Can you find fault with her if the judges decide to make the

Yrina family the winner?” another person chimed in.

“No way, she wouldn't stoop so low, would she? There are so many people watching. If her skills are

inferior, shouldn't she just accept the loss gracefully?”

Melanie stood in the rest area, her body swaying as if she were about to fall.

She stared intently at the image of the bridal gown projected on the screen, her eyes filled with

disbelief. How could this be possible? How could Bailey possibly have embroidered such a complex

piece in such a short amount of time?

She could also create an embroidery masterpiece like the “Morning Gathering of a Hundred Birds,” but

it would require at least half a day of her time. But they clearly only had an hour to complete the work!

How could Bailey possibly finish a piece of work that usually takes half a day to embroider in such a

short amount of time?

“No way. Impossible! There's no way you could have completed this 'Morning Gathering of a Hundred

Birds' in such a short time, let alone replicate the framework of the bridal outfit,” Melanie exclaimed.

“Bailey, you must have cheated. You must have used some underhanded methods. No one could do it

in such a short time—no one! You must've played dirty.”

As soon as she let out this exclamation, the crowd around began to exchange glances. “Holy smokes,

the bridal gown design wasn't embroidered by Melanie but by Bailey instead?”

“There's no doubt about it since Melanie just said it herself. Anyway, this is how Bailey works. I'm not

surprised at all,” another person uttered.

“If you examine the two pieces of work closely, you can tell the spring lotus employs the Strassonian

embroidery stitching, whereas the bridal gown used the Yrinasion embroidery stitching. So, there's no

need for anyone to question it anymore. That bridal gown is clearly the work of Bailey. It would be

impossible for anyone to fake it.”

Someone else let out a cold snort. “A master who has been learning embroidery skills since childhood

is actually outdone by a novice. Ms. Melanie, how do you feel about this?”

“Despite twenty years of experience in embroidery, her work is a far cry from Bailey's. She's clearly not

in the same league as Bailey.”

“I can't believe where your confidence came from when you said anyone from the Yrina family could

participate in the competition. Now you've messed up, haven't you?”

Melanie remained unperturbed by the sarcastic remark and was more preoccupied with the

competition's final result.

If the Strassons were to lose in the competition, Melanie would certainly pay the price for her

foolishness, and her family would not let her off easily.

Based on the crowd's earlier reaction and her concern for the bridal gown, it seemed highly probable

that Bailey would emerge as the victor today.

If she aimed to reverse the situation, there was just one path to follow—to go all out in her attempts to

eliminate Bailey from the equation.

She was ready to accuse Bailey of cheating and plagiarism and even fabricate stories to prevent Bailey

from winning. “Bailey, you cheated! This embroidery can't possibly be your work. How could a novice

like you possess such master-level skills?”

Her accusation once again silenced the noisy crowd around her, prompting them to ponder how Bailey,

a mere beginner, could possess such extraordinary embroidery skills beyond the reach of ordinary

people.

Creating a bridal gown was not difficult, and neither was embroidering the “Morning Gathering of a

Hundred Birds.” Given enough time, Melanie, too, could accomplish it.

The key factor was having ample time to work on the piece.

The crowd could not help but wonder how Bailey was able to pull that off within such an hour.

They could not help but sense an oddity in the situation, unable to discern the underlying logic.

“They should check the footage of the surveillance cameras backstage to see if Bailey embroidered the

piece of work herself,” an individual suggested.

Another individual echoed. “Exactly, there's a surveillance camera right above her. Let's review the

footage, and it'll reveal if she cheated.”

The expressions on the faces of the Shurmer family members, who were seated at the main table,

grew solemn.

Not only did they bully Bailey in the past, but now they were blatantly doing it right in front of the

Shurmer family. Do these people really think that all Shurmers are pushovers?

Waverly was the first to stand up. Just when she was about to speak up for Bailey, Juliana tugged at

her sleeve from the side.

“Why are you stopping me?” Waverly asked.

Juliana blinked, her expression a playful blend of amusement and seriousness as she explained, “It's

been a while since I've seen Bailey teaching people a lesson. Don't worry, Mrs. Shurmer, no one can

harm her. Besides, public opinion is a powerful force. She can only prove her innocence by her own

efforts. If you speak up for her, people might think you're trying to cover for her. Instead of helping her,

you'd only make matters worse.”

Zeke interjected, “Listen to Julie. That girl is no pushover. Are you really worried that she'll be bullied at

the Shurmer residence?”

Seething with anger, Waverly remained silent and returned to her seat. She gritted her teeth and

murmured, “The Strasson family will not get away with this!”

Finally, at Zeke's signal, the staff retrieved the surveillance footage.

The footage clearly showed that Bailey singlehandedly completed the masterpiece, stitch by stitch.

The color drained from Melanie's face when she saw the footage. She froze as if trapped in an ice

cellar.

With a light chuckle, Bailey asked, “Is there anything else you wish to say, Ms. Melanie?”

Melanie clenched the hem of her gown, glaring fiercely at the massive screen in front of her. It was as if

she could bore a hole through the screen with her gaze, hoping to see some new breakthrough.

Suddenly, she felt lucky as she eventually noticed something unusual. “Look! There's something wrong

with the way she embroidered the piece. There's no way she could be that fast if she was doing it the

way most people do. Her stitching bears a resemblance to the Yrina family's method, but she also

incorporates other techniques. I think I've seen this before.”

After a short pause, she exclaimed, “Oh, the Yrinasion Muse! That's right, it's the Yrinasion Muse.

That's the embroidery technique that the Yrinasion Muse developed three years ago. Bailey has

undoubtedly plagiarized by using someone else's embroidery techniques. So, she should be

disqualified from the competition!”

The crowd surrounding Melanie looked at her with a mixture of bewilderment and disbelief. They were

utterly speechless.

Karina discreetly merged into the crowd, preferring not to be drawn into the ensuing commotion.

With all the evidence laid out before her, Karina had instantly recognized Bailey's stitching techniques.

Does Melanie still remain unaware of Bailey's true identity? Is she a fool?

“Ms. Melanie, the stitching technique you just used was also developed by your predecessors from the

Strasson family, right? Does that mean you're also guilty of plagiarism?” With another light-hearted

chuckle, Bailey said. “If that's the case, there's no need for you, or even the Strasson family, to exist

either. Since everyone is plagiarizing, and their behavior is deplorable, their achievements don't

deserve recognition at all.”

Melanie could not help but stutter. “I-I... how is that considered plagiarism? The Strassons have been

using this stitching technique for generations. On what grounds do you accuse us of plagiarism?”

Bailey shook her head. She did not want to waste her breath on the fool standing before her anymore.

“Can someone please kindly tell her who I am?”
