Chapter 18
Happy reading….
When she opened her eyes Viona felt excruciating pain in her head and some parts of her body.
“Akh!” she groaned as she held her head which felt like it was going to burst. Her vision was not so clear that Viona had to sit still for a few seconds while blinking a few times.
After feeling less dizzy anymore, Viona got up slowly from the bed.
“What happened? Why am I here?” mumbled Viona trying to remember what happened last night.
The last time Viona remembered was when she left Haidar’s office because she was upset with the man. Even though Viona had no purpose at all. Just walking aimlessly until late afternoon and her stomach felt hungry. Viona decided to stop at a shop.
At first she just wanted to eat, but because of the unrelenting frustration she asked for a drink to get drunk. And that’s when Haidar came nagging like mothers.
“Tsk! I’m bothering Haidar again,” Viona muttered.
The woman went to clean herself but how shocked when she saw her half-naked body.
“Where are my clothes? Why….” Viona was at a loss for words when the memory of last night’s events came back.
“Come make love to me, Haidar!”
The words that instantly made Viona want to eliminate herself.
“How can I say something so embarrassing like that? It’s not romantic at all,” Viona muttered in frustration.
So the question now is did they really do that? Viona couldn’t remember anything anymore after she said that.
“Aish! You are really embarrassing Viona.”
Finished cleaning up, with awkward steps Viona approached Haidar who was busy eating his breakfast.
“Are you awake?” Haidar was the first to speak.
Viona nodded in response, smiling slightly too.
“What happened to you?” asked Haidar confused by Viona’s attitude. The woman who was usually very talkative suddenly became quiet. Even Viona did not drop her gaze on Haidar.
Viona bit her lower lip. If she kept quiet like this she wouldn’t get an answer. There was no other way she had to ask Haidar.
“Haidar?” The call that made Haidar’s black net go to Viona. From NôvelDrama.Org.
“What is it?” asked Haidar.
“Did something happen last night?” she asked slowly.
“Something? Something like what?” Whether it’s teasing or not, Haidar’s question actually irritates Viona.
“Hey! Don’t irritate me!” said Viona slightly raised her voice but the next second she lowered her head again. “Did we make love last night?” she asked plainly in an almost whispering tone.
Really Viona would be very angry if it really happened. The girl did not deny that she really wanted to make love to Haidar but was not drunk. In fact, that’s what pissed her off. Do it or not it doesn’t matter to Viona.
Haidar deliberately stopped his breakfast activities and looked at Viona. Don’t forget that he’s smiling crookedly.
“According to you?” asked Haidar.
Viona looked up with wide eyes. “Are we really doing it?” she asked with a surprised look on her face.
A few moments passed until….
“Ha ha ha ha!” Haidar could no longer hold back his laughter. Viona’s face is really cute.
“Haidar! Don’t play with me!” Viona snapped.
Haidar suppressed his laughter until only a small chuckle could be heard. “What kind of man do you think I am, huh? Using a drunk woman just to fulfill my desires, I see?” asked Haidar then took a deep breath. He held both of her shoulders. “I’m not that jerk, Viona. Not anymore,” he continued, looking away from the girl.
Haidar smiled faintly then looked at Viona again. “Even though I have to desperately resist the urge not to return your hot kiss,” he said seductively.
“I’m going!” Haidar got up from his seat, ruffled Viona’s hair excitedly. “Next time if you want to get drunk just stay at home because you never know what bad things will happen when you’re drunk,” said Haidar and left from there.
Words that were actually aimed at himself.
“And I will fix everything.”

“Is it always like this?” Jayden asked Roy who was sitting beside him.
They were reviewing the place where the luxury apartment that Jayden had designed would be built.
In an action taken there will always be pros and cons as a consequence. Like now where several dozen people protested refusing to leave the place where Jayden hung his dream.
The man told the driver to roll down the windshield so Jayden could clearly see the faces of those who opposed him.
“Most of them have already moved with the money you offered. But some still refuse,” said Roy.
Jayden took a deep breath as he looked at the people who were willing to heat up holding banners while shouting.
“You idiots!” Jayden cursed looking hatefully at the people.
How will the project go if there are still roadblocks there? Jayden might lose the trust of his investors if by next month the place is not leveled.
“Then what about some of the places that are still being auctioned off?” Jayden asked Roy again.
“All we have to do is offer the highest price, then everything will be ours, sir,” said Roy with certainty.
Maybe Jayden was upset but he couldn’t hide his happiness either. Just one more step and Jayden will achieve his dream.
Jayden raised the windshield again. Facing forward with arrogance.
“Fix them all overnight. I don’t want them because my plan will fail,” Jayden said.
“But they—”
“I don’t care in any way.” Jayden turned to look at Roy sharply. Eagle eyes that always make anyone submit. “What I want tomorrow this place to be clean. So do your job well,” said Jayden patted Roy’s shoulder as if making the task that the man had to bear so big.
“All right, Mr. Jayden!” said Roy. He didn’t have the slightest power to refuse.
“Very good,” said Jayden, smiling happily. Leaning his body in the car seat, folding his arms across his chest. “You’ll get what you deserve, Roy. So don’t think working with me will hurt you,” Jayden continued.
“Sure, sir. I’ll do everything well,” said Roy. After hearing the boss’s words, he no longer hesitated to carry out his duties. Because Roy knows the boss never messes with his words.
Jayden just smiled then told the driver to get out of there.
“I won’t let them abuse me again,” Jayden muttered.
The words he addressed to his family. Specifically his adoptive family.
