Spoiled by the Silver Fox

Chapter 557

Stephanie's eyes suddenly lit up and she asked, "Are you really giving me these gifts?"

"Do you want them?"

Stephanie nodded her head frantically.

Who would say no to gifts?

I've loved receiving gifts since I was a kid!

She reached out to take the gifts, but Sebastian quickly pulled his hand back, a charming smile playing on his lips, "Nah, just messing with you."

Stephanie's eyes widened, "You're kidding, right?"

"Yep, just messing around!"

Judith and Marilyn burst into laughter on the side.

It wasn't often that Sebastian showed a sense of humor.

However, by the end of the night, all of Sebastian's gifts had ended up in Stephanie's possession.

Sebastian couldn't help but chuckle when he saw the little girl's smug expression when she received the gifts.

She was so excited over a few gifts.

But when Christmas Eve came and Sebastian took Stephanie to the Ingram family for their Christmas meal.

The elder members of the Ingram family didn't know Stephanie was coming and hadn't prepared any gifts for her.

Sebastian took the initiative and said, "It's her first time here on Christmas Eve. Gifts are a must."

Stephanie quickly tugged at his sleeve and whispered, "No need."

Sebastian gave her a comforting look and said, "In ordinary families, the elders always give gifts to the daughter-in-law they're meeting for the first time. It was a special case when Steph first came here, so it was fine if you guys forgot, but now it's Christmas Eve, and not just any ordinary day.

Don't you guys consider my little girl part of the family?

If that's the case, we might as well skip dinner."

With that, he put down his fork and knife and was ready to leave.

Jaxon Ingram quickly said, "Tonight is Christmas Eve; don't make a fuss! Who said we weren't giving her any gifts? We haven't even finished dinner yet!"

"Oh? You mean you've already prepared something?"

"We're not just any ordinary family; giving ordinary gifts would be too mundane! Go get the painting I did this morning from my study; let's give it to the little girl as a gift."

A painting?

Sebastian quirked an eyebrow,

"Grandpa, your paintings are very precious, but they're too expensive My little girl is just an ordinary

person she likes ordinary gift

You

should keep your paintings for your own collection."

"What? Are you looking down on my paintings?"

"My little girl is just an ordinary person; even if you gave her the painting, she wouldn't appreciate it."

Sebastian's aunt, Ava, quickly said,

"Sebastian, he only said that

because he didn't prepare an

ordinary gift! Dad, we have guest

coming over for Christmas tomorrow and I've prepared quite few gifts. You wait; I'll go get one for you to give to your future granddaughter-in-law."

With that, she got up and left.

Jaxon grumbled unhappily, "Who agreed that she's our future granddaughter-in-law? Sebastian brings people home without telling us in advance all the time."

"So you're saying I'm an outsider? I have to tell you guys and get your approval before I can bring people home?"

Julia frowned and said, "Sebastian, today is Christmas Eve; how can you talk to your grandpa like that?"Original content from NôvelDrama.Org.

"Julia, you just need to mind your own business. You don't need to worry about my manners."

Stephanie glanced at Julia and saw her face turn red. It made her feel good.

This was his mother, huh? Was she qualified to educate Sebastian?

Julia only knew how to give birth to kids, but she didn't know how to raise them. Whether Sebastian was polite or not, it was really not her place to lecture him.

Kamden Ingram heard Sebastian's words and frowned, "Sebastian, everyone is here for a rare dinner together; can you keep it down? You've been giving everyone a hard time since you got back."

Sebastian completely ignored him.
