Sold To The Mafia Lord

In The Slum

Amelia came down from the stairs and walked towards Alexander and Ash.

She first looked at Alexander with a rather sad and displeased smile before looking at Ash.

She immediately wore a very condescending and aggressive Face.

Ash looked up at Alexander for help but it seemed as if the guy wasn’t even concentrating anymore as his gaze was full of Amelia’s silhouette.

“I asked a question!” Amelia said calmly as she turned to look at Ash who was only wearing a small chest-revealing satin Gown and fluffy slippers and a small cloak around her shoulders.

What does she think she would achieve with these clothes on??!!

Ash tried to play the pity card as she said in tears “I-I wanted to stay over, please don’t throw me out!” Saying that was a trap.

If Amelia were to say No, she would seem like a big bully and a bad person in front of Alexander. And if she was to say yes, it was as if she gave way to ash and had to abide by her biddings.

Amelia was aware of all these as she gritted her teeth in rage, who was Ash to trap her in her own house??

Amelia nevertheless gave her a smile that wasn’t reaching her eyes “Mrs. Moon I guess you must have been taught by your parents that staying over at a man’s house is improper and considered taboo for a well-bred woman from a wealthy family like you, to do… and to top it all, A married man! Tsk I guess it will become the talk on everyone’s lips when this leaks out”

Amelia was simply trying to tell that she was not well brought up, what a way to tell someone their life history.

Ash’s face immediately turns grim as she bites her tongue to control her rage.

This was an insult she couldn’t just swallow, she couldn’t accept it but she couldn’t be physical with Amelia, since Alexander was still there.

Ash sniffed hard “Sorry for disturbing you Mrs Ron, it’s no one’s fault… If I had been personally trained by my mother, then I could have known all these but unfortunately, I grew up with

My dad who always spoils me, may my mother’s soul rest in the bosom of God” Ash was looking so saddened.

Amelia felt the urge to laugh out and applaud her for the talent of playing the pitiful card and trying to act innocent all through.

“Yeah may her soul rest well but it’s still wrong to stay in a married man’s house!” Amelia said leisurely as she held Alexander’s wrist and said calmly “I and my husband need alone time together, we were about to do some stuff before you suddenly came unannounced”Amelia said again as she looked at Ash in contempt, wondering why she was so obsessed with Alexander. She was beautiful but just wanted to waste her time.

Alexander stared at Ash for a while, Ash gave him a pitiful look as she kept sniffing in her snot like a kitten who had suffered some grievances.

Alexander looked at Amelia, Amelia looked up at him with raised brows as if saying; what’s the matter with that look, do you want her to stay

Alexander concealed a smile and turned to look at Ash, he said so calmly:

“Well, you can stay at my house for the night!”As if a bomb suddenly went off in Amelia’s head.

Amelia immediately let off Alexander’s hand and directly went to sit on a chair in the dining hall with pouting lips, totally annoyed.

Alexander and she had mutual understanding when it came to dealing with people, what was the matter with him now??

Does he like Ash now??

Amelia was sucking as she stared at the two still standing and facing each other.

One had a calm face on as if he didn’t do anything wrong while the other had a pleased expression and a small smile.Content from NôvelDr(a)ma.Org.

Amelia gritted her teeth in annoyance, she didn’t know what to do with This annoying man.

Alexander didn’t look Amelia’s way cause he was aware she was currently in a terrible mood.

Why was she angry anyway?? She shouldn’t be jealous or angry at Ash who was just a mere friend to him. Thought he had clarified that He had nothing to do with Ash.

Nevertheless, Alexander looked at Ash deeply, “As I said, you can sleep over, we’re about to have dinner, come to the dining table for supper” Alexander said calmly and walked out.

He didn’t head to the Dining table to sit as he directly went to the kitchen to tell Mrs Gale that they were three.

So she could make food for three of them.

Ash made her way to the dining hall and sat down on one of the chairs.

Ash sat down triumphantly and Amelia had the urge to puke on her face and reveal her mask.

Amelia, on the other hand, didn’t show any sign of grievances on her face but rather acted as the woman of the house.

“Well Mrs. Moon, I hope you enjoy your stay at my house, you know we don’t usually take in guests but since you are special, I mean…. you’re sick, tsk so bad but don’t worry-forget”

Amelia hid her smirk gazed up at Ash and added “You’re once again welcome to my abode”

Ash’s face was so unsightly as she looked at Amelia “Just drop it already Witch, Alexander is not here, trying to act like the queen to spite is of no good use”

“Oh, my bad! But wishing you a warm welcome T my home is not a sin, that’s what every woman does to their guest”Amelia shrugged indifferently.

“You know you don’t belong here, “Ash said with hate laced in her tone.

“Okay?? So where do I belong?? You tell me” Amelia asked with raised brows.

“In the slums, that’s where you should be, “Ash said with a small smirk.

“So bad, I’m in Alexander’s arms which you can’t afford to be, I didn’t go to any extent or make any effort to be sleeping in his broad arms each night but you went as far as using lots of money to buy a house just to see him open the car door for me every morning, such a pity Tsk tsk”Amelia licked her lower lips as she stared at Ash.

Ash’s face was so red and angry.
