Goodies
“I can just take it back since you don’t want…” Alexander teased and Amelia immediately took it from his hand with a broad smile on her small face.
“Thanks…” Amelia said softly while looking at the dagger, raising the dagger, she added “For this-”
Alexander gazed at her “Thought I told you I don’t like it when you thank me??”
Amelia nodded knowingly as she pushed her lips forward in surrender.
The dagger was particularly eye-catching, it was Silva-looking with smooth edge, On the dagger was faintly written: Alpha
“It seems to be your Gang’s Heirloom,”Amelia said small as she observed the dagger
“Be careful with that, it’s really sharp, I had a blacksmith make it”
“You didn’t import this?” Amelia asked incredulously
“Nah….” Alexander hummed and Amelia just nodded and kept the dagger to her side, the very first time she saw the dagger, she loved it.
Maybe it’s because she’s more skilled in using daggers to fight.
The Remaining drive was in silence as the duo were occupied with their thoughts.

A crashing sound could be heard in the living room, for some reason, the air was depressing and moody.
Jolie stood in the middle of the living room in fury as her nose was all red.
Luke Robertson stared at his aggrieved daughter and his mood immediately deteriorated “Watch your tongue, seems like I’ve spoilt you rotten that you now talk to me in that tone” Luke wasn’t having it at all as he sat in the chair.
Jolie looked at her mother for help and Marion immediately understood as she turned towards her husband, she wore a sympathetic look as she held onto Luke’s arm to calm him.
“Don’t scold her too much, she’s just a child that doesn’t know what it means to be an adult, she isn’t sensitive yet” Marion found excuses for Jolie
“Mom, I’m not a child anymore, how could father do this to me?? It could have been me! Me..!” Jolie stretched out as her eyes reddened in anger.
It’s all That swine’s fault, she snatched her position.
“Get one thing straight, we had to sell her because of you if you didn’t fool around with your classmates and ended up getting beaten and battered by your enemies….. Ahem, and I haven’t asked you yet how you suddenly had enemies at your age!” Luke had always loved and cherished Jolie more than Amelia who was birthed by his first wife. Jolie was more docile and obedient, a beauty who had many social networks.
But he couldn’t stand her nagging at him, he was an egoistic man who didn’t like to get lectured, especially by his kid.
“Don’t talk such nonsense!” Marion chided Jolie and Jolie stomped her feet on the ground angrily.
Seeing Jolie’s pained expression, Luke couldn’t bear to scold her anymore, she was his favorite.Material © of NôvelDrama.Org.
He took a deep breath and said to her “We sold her for you, you should be happy we successfully got rid of the thorn in our flesh”
“Dad you could have possibly sold her to some random drunk and drug addicts, some fat belly pig among men but…. why Alexander Ron?? He’s a god for crying out loud, he’s every woman’s dream, I like him Dad, his very being and money!”Jolie said and Luke frowned immediately
“Don’t talk nonsense, he’s dangerous, he’s a mafia and not so good, Amelia won’t be treated well if she is with him, why suffer yourself?? He is….. Death itself” Luke shuddered when he said the last statement, Alexander always gave him the creeps. Alexander always emitted a deadly aura around him.
“Well…. I can’t continue this matter!” Luke got up from the chair and walked out of the living room as he thought of Alexander’s usual cold eyes that were so penetrating.
“Mom!!” Jolie stomped her feet on the ground more harshly as she walked towards Marion in a spoilt manner. She took a seat close to Marion.
“Mom, we have to do something, look at me, don’t I deserve to be a Ron?? Even if he’s a mafia, I don’t care, I’ll still get to be the mistress of the family, with servants at my beck and call, I’ll be on top of the world..” Jolie fantasized as she had dreamy eyes on.
Marion frowned bit by bit as she thought of these possibilities, she couldn’t miss the chance of being Ron’s In law.
“But you won’t get to be loved by him!”
“Don’t worry about that mom, love can come later on, as we get to know each other, he will gradually start loving me, and if perhaps…..” Jolie trailed off “If perhaps he doesn’t love me by then, I don’t care, all I know is the money.. and of course, the fame” Jolie showed a bright smile as she thought of how all her friends would start flocking over her.
“I never thought of this, I can’t let that little witch get all these, we have to do something!” Marion said as she felt regretful for not having her husband sell Amelia to some foolish and irresponsible men.
But at that moment of anxiety, when they got that call that Jolie had been hospitalized, and That offer came in, a shareholder of the Robertson Group was discussing the news.
The shareholder happened to attend a birthday banquet by Mrs. Ron, and that was when Mr. Lorraine Ron announced his search for a daughter-in-law for his son.
Lots of directors brought their daughter to Mrs. Ron and introduced them, they only tried their luck by dialing the number Mr. Ron had shared with the attendees at the banquet, but luckily for them, Amelia was chosen.
She didn’t think of the possibilities and all the goodies the marriage alliance could bring to Amelia, at that moment of dilemma, her only thoughts were the source of funds to treat Her darling daughter, Jolie.
To think of it now, it was weird cause other members of the high class were present at the banquet, so their daughters had to be some stunning young socialites with good characters, charismatic and filled with the correct etiquette.
They surpassed Amelia with everything as Amelia was the always loud girl, not well bred, and doesn’t have a social class. So scheming and problematic.
“We have to do something mum, we must wreak havoc in Amelia’s home and Alexander would have seen her real colors, she’s so sly and full of schemes,” Jolie said as she narrowed her eyes to imagine Amelia’s face when their plots truly come to play.
“She’ll be so regretful…”
