chapter 67
They both seemed to ponder for a few seconds, both their eyes trained on me while I thought of
anything but what the real reason was. After a few minutes of them staring, I grew uncomfortable and
Impatient, jumping off the bed. I headed for the shower. A few tense minutes later, they both came in
and started showering alongside me. I quickly washed before hopping out and getting dressed. I raced
downstairs and started making a sandwich, I was starving after that work out session and the blood
loss. I was thankful when I felt through the bond that their thoughts had turned elsewhere.
When it was time for bed, I was exhausted and fell asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow.
Tobias and Theo beside me. I was glad when the darkness of sleep consumed me, knowing the only
thoughts they could pick up on were those of my dreams as I slept peacefully.
When I awoke, I was shocked to find that it was still dark outside, I rolled, and Theo was reading
beside me. I stretched and sat upright before leaning on him. Tobias was still fast asleep.
“Try and go back to sleep we still have a few hours before work,” Theo said putting is book down
and pulling me against his chest. I was wide awake which was a little unusual. When I checked the
time on my phone beside Theo. It was four am.
“I think I will stay home today,” I whispered trying not to wake up Tobias. Theo pulled his face
away; I could tell he wanted to know why. When every other time I would normally pitch a fit about not
being able to go.
“My mother can meet you at work, is this because you’re nervous about tomorrow?” he said. I
shook my head. Content is © 2024 NôvelDrama.Org.
“No, I just don’t feel like going,” I mumbled between yawning.
“Want one of us to stay with you?” he asked.
My heart skipped a beat, knowing that it wasn’t an option.
“No, I will be fine,” I told him, not wanting him to read too much into my decision to stay home. I felt
him nod before pulling me closer and inhaling my scent.
“Well, if you don’t want to sleep, what do you want to do?” he asked. I looked up at him and he had
silly smirk on his face as he waggled his eyebrows. I chuckled softly before climbing on top of him, my
hips straddling his waist as I leant down and brushed his lips softly with mine. Theo’s hand in my hair
pulling me closer as he deepened the kiss. I could already feel his erection underneath me. Like
seriously did they both just walk around with erections ready to go? I snickered at the thought and I felt
him smile against my lips, obviously invading my thoughts to see what I thought was so funny.
He bucked his hips into me. Grinding his erection against me. I reached between us and grabbed
him through his boxer shorts before he wasted no time getting rid of them. My hand wrapping around
the base of his shaft which was smooth and rock hard.
I felt his fingers tugging the waistband of my pants down. Before fisting them in his hand and I
knew he was about to rip them off. I quickly stood not wanting him to destroy them.
“What?” he asked when I stood up before sliding my pants down my legs.
“I don’t want you to ruin them they’re comfy. Besides, I am starting to run out clothes because you
keep tearing them” I said before climbing back on top of him.
“You look better without them.” He chuckled softly before running his hands up my sides and
pulling my shirt off over my head. He sat up slightly with his back against the headboard. His lips
moving to my neck then to my breasts, biting down on my nipple. I gasped at the slight sting before I
felt his tongue run along his bite soothing it. I positioned him at my entrance before sitting down, letting
him fill me completely. His head went back hitting the headboard with a thud as he groaned at the feel
of my walls squeezing him tightly. I giggled as he rubbed his head. I moved my hips, and he placed his
hands on my sides. Finding my own rhythm, I moved slowly still sore from last night.
My walls clenching him in a vice like grip when I felt my orgasm building, his cock sliding in and out
me smoothly slick with my desire. When I felt my orgasm build and about to tip over, I reached back
grabbing his balls and tugging on them. I felt Theo’s grip on my hips tighten before he moved my hips
faster sending me over the edge, my orgasm washing over me, as my pussy pulsated around him
making him find his own release. I pressed my head to his, both of us panting having come down from
our high, I felt the bed shift slightly. Theo’s lips tugged up as he realised Tobias was awake.
“As entertaining as that was to watch, it’s my turn,” I heard Tobias say, his voice thick with desire,
before I felt his hands grip my waist and ripping me off the top of Theo. I giggled as I felt my body be
manoeuvred before I suddenly found myself underneath Tobias, his lips going instantly to my neck and
his cock sliding into me making him groan against me, as I slid my hands through his hair tugging him
towards me and bringing my lips to his.
A few hours later
Tobias and Theo went to work, I was relieved because now I could prepare for when Caroline
came over today bringing her mysterious friend. After packing a suitcase with clothes. I decided to go
out to where my stuff was stored in the shed, hoping to retrieve a few pieces that I hold dear from my
mother, seeing as I don’t know how long I will be gone for.
I was rummaging through boxes when I heard a car pull up. Thinking it was Caroline I continued to
dig through the box looking for my mother’s bracelet. I used to wear it when I was kid, my mother
actually did tell me once it was a gift from my father that he had given her.
Finding the bracelet, I quickly put it my pocket and walked towards the door when she stepped in
front of me. Shocked I took a step back. What the hell was she doing here?
She was dressed very casual today, in her jeans and black tank top she had ankle boots on, and
her long hair pulled into a high ponytail. I froze as she stepped into the small office space in the back of
the shed. The room was already cramped with my mother’s furniture everywhere. I took another step
back when my arse came in contact with my grandfather’s table. I watched as she looked around
before flicking her blonde hair over shoulder turning her nose up in disgust.
“What are you doing here, Bianca?” I said through gritted teeth. Wasn’t it bad enough she
condemned me? Now she was here to rub it in my face.
Her eyes snapped to me. “I just wanted to make sure you hadn’t decided to run,” she said her lips
turning up in a cruel smile. I watched as she walked around the room, looking at all my belongings. I
refused to take my eyes off her, this woman was a snake, and I would never take the chance by turning
my back on her.
“You need to leave now” I said. I was shocked at the amount of anger behind my words. She
looked up at me holding a photo album in her hands.
“I see you have your mother’s temper” she said while flicking to the next page, my blood run cold
before I turned confused. What did she mean? I watched as she turned the pages of the album
inspecting every picture closely before dropping the album on the table with a loud thud.
“Get out, you have no right being here, Bianca” I said standing firmly.
“No right?” she said raising an eyebrow. “This was my home first before you took it from me,
exactly like your mother you are. Always taking things that don’t belong to you. Let’s hope you don’t
meet the same end she did.” Her eyes sparkled with mischief, the venom of the words rolling of her
tongue, daring me to ask what she is talking about.
“I didn’t steal them, you cheated on them. You did this to yourself. Now get out,” I said, grabbing
the closest thing to me. Which turned out to be a lamp. Great move, Imogen. You can burn her retinas
with its light. I thought but still clutching the lamp tightly. I heard her chuckle before walking toward me,
stopping just a few centimetres away.
“Did they ever find who ran your mother off the road?” she asked, a triumphant grin on her face.
I pushed her back. “What are you playing at, Bianca?”
“Who says I am playing? I just wanted to give you a little insight, the closure you never had.” She
pouted.
“I knew your mother. In fact, I watched her for months while she worked. She never once
recognised me; she would tell me all about her wonderful daughter. At first, I was curious about her,
then it turned to hate. Your mother is the reason mine is dead. So, I thought it was only fitting that I let
you know the same pain.”
“What are you talking about? I don’t even know you.” I told her.
“Of course, you don’t, how could you? But when you started working under Tobias and Theo, and I
could tell straight away you were their mate. I couldn’t take it. It infuriated me watching them watching
you. And you were completely unaware of the effect you had on them. Your family once again taking
from mine. What’s the saying? Mother like Daughter. So, I decided I would take something from you.” I
didn’t like where this conversation was going, my brain trying to come up with anything to makes sense
of her words.
“So, when I saw your mother leaving work that day, I followed her. She was singing happily to the
horrendous music coming from her stereo when I ploughed into her. You should have seen the look on
her face when I got out of the car and walked over to her. She honestly thought I was her friend. I went
to finish the job, killing her there on the spot when people started coming out while I tried to squeeze
the life out her, instead breaking her neck, but even that didn’t kill her. Your mother was tough bitch, I
will give her that.” I took a step forward clutching the lamp.
“I wouldn’t do that if I were you. You don’t stand chance. But wow that feels so good to get off my
chest, like a weight lifted. Do you feel better, Imogen, knowing the truth? Did it give you closure?” she
said stepping impossibly close. I wanted to kill the bitch, wanted to rip those hairs off her head and skin
her alive. Only I knew she had the power here and she won. The triumphant smile that broke out on her
face, as my tears started to brim. Made me want to smash her face till there was nothing left of it.
“I can’t wait to see the heart ache on their faces when they come home and realise their mate
killed herself, so weak and pathetic like her mother” she said before she grabbed me, her hands going
around my throat and squeezing as she lifted my feet of the floor, my legs kicking at air, as I struggled
to breathe. I clawed at her hands trying to loosen her grip. My head was becoming light from the lack of
air. Giving up on clawing at her hands, I instead jammed my thumbs in her eyes digging in deep, I
could feel the slimy feeling of her eyeballs as my thumbs glided into the sockets. She released me,
dropping me on the floor and clutching at her eyes and screaming.
“You fucking bitch,” she said making me look up at her. She went to move toward me, her foot
going back as she went to kick me where I lay on the floor, I even braced myself for it. When her
strangled scream broke out in the room, everything happened so fast I was sure I imagined it. One
second, she was aiming her kick, the next she was thrown backwards. I sag in relief when I realise it is
Caroline. She grabs Bianca by her hair ripping her upright before dragging her towards the door.
“You can’t kill me” Bianca laughed.
“No, I can’t but that don’t mean I can’t teach you some respect,” she said before throwing her
through the door and into the shed. I could hear Bianca screaming and begging as Caroline did god
knows what to the woman. I stand up just as she walks into the room again dusting off her clothes.
“Are you okay, Imogen?” She asks. I nod but I wasn’t alright that bitch killed my mother, took the
only person I had left away from me, for reasons I don’t know. How could anyone be alright after
learning that information. I felt tears start to brim before flowing over. Caroline’s arms wrapped around
me pulling me close. “There, there, child she can’t hurt you anymore. I am here now” She whispered
soothingly.
“She killed my mum,” I whispered between sobbing.
I felt Caroline freeze begore pushing me at arm’s length. “What did you just say?”
“She killed my mum, said it was pay back for my mother killing hers.” Caroline looked just as
confused as I felt about Bianca’s reasoning. My mother would never take anything from anyone, she
was good woman and great mum to me. Caroline pulled me back towards her hugging me tighter.
“We need to leave; we can figure out everything else later. But for now, we have to go before they
come home” She told me. I nodded and let her drag me to the car. When I got in the silver Audi, I
noticed a woman sitting in passenger seat. Caroline ducked inside to grab my suitcase.
The woman had an eerie feel about her, she wasn’t that old she looked around my age but there
was something off about her. Her energy was off, I couldn’t explain it. She didn’t scare me, but it was
like I could literally feel the power rolling off of her. She turned in her seat flicking her auburn hair over
her shoulder and peered back at me, her pale blue eyes flicking to mine before she smiled softly.
“You must be Imogen, I am Claire,” she said reaching over the seat to shake my hand.
