"Dude, what are you planning to do?" Kobe asked.

There inside Lyken's car, cruising Toledo on their way to the airport. They're going to pick up the daughter of their client.

"Planning to do, on what?" he asked, confused.

"Your plan about Jada's suitors!" Kobe chuckled.

Lyken looked at him, weighing if he was serious about what he was saying or not. Unfortunately, he does look like he's serious, but he can only laugh at him. "What's so funny, man? Are you just gonna let those suitors make a move on her? You won't even do anything? You're giving up?" he asked continuously.

"You know my situation with Jada, man! From the moment she told me she wants us to be friends, I know. I already know that we're hopeless. That she's already put a period in our story," he responded as he looked outside the window. "You're confusing. I thought you still liked her? Do you still love her? Aren't you even jealous of all those suitors? Well, for sure you're not jealous yet, because you haven't seen them together. But if they're there, right in front of you, do you think you can still calm down?"

"Kobe, I'd let you call me a lunatic if I'm not even jealous. But for now, that's all I can do, to get jealous, quietly. I can't make a move yet since we haven't really talked about the past, so I guess I'll just have to wait. All I can do right now is to watch from the sidelines, dude," he explained.

"What about you? Do you have no plans of going out on dates? Or even court someone?" he pried.

"I haven't really seen or met anyone I'm interested in. If there is then why not?" tapping his best friend's shoulder, Lyken chuckled at him, "Calm down man, who knows? I might eventually find someone who can replace Jada." "You two are a mess," Kobe stated, nodding without looking at his friend. Lyken doesn't understand why he's getting all worked up about him and Jada.

When Lyken agreed to be friends with Jada, he thought of setting aside everything. But he didn't prepare himself for the possibility that someone will start courting her.

That's not impossible. Even if Jada is dressed in rugs, her beauty will shine through and no one can stop other men from seeing that.

And now, here they come. Those who noticed are starting to approach her. Lyken wanted to panic just by thinking that she was going out on a date.

He wanted to do something to stop their plan. But at the same time, he doesn't have the guts to do that.

When they reached the airport, they only waited for thirty minutes to find the person they were picking up. It's Natalie Akiyama, the daughter of a billionaire Japanese businessman.

Both her parents are Japanese, but she stayed in the US to study so she's fluent in English. Meaning, they won't have a hard time communicating with her.

Natalie was assigned by her father as the supervisor for the construction of their building. Akiyama Enterprise is planning to open a business in the country.

"Hi, are you the owners of QF Construction?" she asked when she got near them.

Kobe and Lyken nodded at her. He doesn't know about his friend, but he'll be lying if he says he wasn't stunned. Natalie's a beauty.

Although she's Japanese, her eyes are round and they are blue. She has short hair with bangs and it suits her rounded face.

Her lips are pinkish and her nose is high and narrow. She stands at 5 '5 and her body is to die for.

"I'm Lyken Fontanilla and this is the company's CEO, Kobe Quintana," extending his hand as he introduces himself and his friend.

She nodded at them, shook their hands, and called on the porter who assisted her with her luggage. Then the trio walked to the parking lot, not far from the airport's entrance.

"My father didn't inform me that the owners are this handsome. I'm Natalie by the way," introducing herself while standing outside Lyken's car.

He reached out for her hand and gave it a light squeeze. Kobe shook her hand again but it didn't even seem to last for a second.

"Where are you staying?" Kobe asked.

"I'll be staying at Centro Grand. I wanted it to be close to the construction site because I really hate driving," she replied.

"Okay, we'll drop you by your hotel then," Kobe informed her and she nodded in response.

"We won't start with the construction until Monday right?" Natalie asked as soon as she's inside.

"Yeah, you still have time to rest," Lyken responded.

"Do you guys wanna go out tonight? I think I need to party before doing business," she giggled.

"You can join us if you want. Mr. Fontanilla here can pick you up at your hotel" Kobe suggested. Lyken threw him a death glare, unsure what he's planning to do.

"I would love that if it's okay with Mr. Fontanilla," Natalie smiled.

"You can just call me Lyken. And of course, that's fine," he smiled as he turned to look at her.

"You can just call me Natalie too," smiling as she batted her eyelashes.

Lyken felt rather awkward. 'Is she flirting with me?' He can't help but think, yet again, instead of dwelling on it, he let go of the thought.

In less than an hour, they reached the hotel where she will be staying. She refused to be taken to her suite but she reminded them of tonight's gimmick.

"So, I'll see you guys tonight then!"

When Natalie left and while they were on their way back to the car, he couldn't help but ask his friend. "What was that dude?" calling Kobe off after what he did.

"What do you mean what was that? I'm trying to help you find a date! We can't just let Jada go out on dates you know? You have to do it too!"

"Kobe this isn't part of my plan," he sneered, lightly punching his friend's arm.

"Ly, calm down! Think of this as some sort of test," Kobe told him, grinning. However, Lyken can only crease his forehead at him. "You see, since Jada got a date later, you should have one too. Then we'll see who will get jealous first." Lyken pressed on his temple as he shook his head, "I don't know about you man, but I really don't think this is a good idea," he sighed.

When they arrived at Jada's unit, she was already preparing for her dinner date. She sat down next to Honey, as Bambi and Ada worked on her hair. Honey, on the other hand, helped her zip up her sandals.

"How was the daughter of the billionaire?" Honey asked as Kobe sat down next to her.

"Babe, you won't believe it. Natalie's a goddess!" he blurted out. Honey creased her forehead at him but Kobe winked and Honey instantly got the message. "I think she's in our age range too. And take note, she can't take her eyes off of Lyken," he finished.

"Really? Does she look like she's interested in Lyken?" Honey added.

"You guys can see for yourself later. You'll have the opportunity to judge her. Lyken's picking her up and she's joining us tonight," Kobe bragged.

"Yeah right! Just make sure that she's on the same level as Jada!" Robin blurted out and Jada's eyes widened in shock. She didn't expect Robin to say something like that.

"Shut up Robin!" Jada called him off. "Leave Lyken alone, let him enjoy his singlehood. Don't jinx it!"

Kobe and Lyken exchanged glances. Kobe realized that his plan wasn't working at all. Lyken, on the other hand, felt a bit of pain after hearing what she said. It's as if she really doesn't care whether she's with someone later or not. "Hey!... I'm at unit 218... Yeah, they're here... Of course, see you!" He heard her say as she answered the phone.

"He's here!" She announced before standing up.

She checked herself in the mirror before going to the kitchen. After a few seconds, someone's already ringing her doorbell.

"I'll get it," she interrupted Bambi who was about to stand up to open the door. "Hi! Come in!"

The man who showed up is as tall as Kobe, he's 6 '1 too. The sleeves of his shirt are about to rip apart as his muscles bulge. He undeniably got a mouth-watering build.

He's wearing a navy blue polo shirt, paired with faded jeans and dark blue topsider. His hair is left in a mess but it looks good on him.

"Guys, this is Daniel Agosti. Daniel, these are my friends, Bambi, Kobe, Steve, Robin, Lyken, Ada, and my best friend Honey," Jada introduced them one by one. He immediately shook their hands before he turned to Jada.

He eyed her from head to toe and smiled, "You're very beautiful!" he praised and Jada smiled. "Are you ready to go?" Daniel asked. Jada's wearing a white blouse with folded sleeves and knotted hem. She paired it with black leather shorts and gladiator sandals. Bambi applied a very thin layer of makeup on her. Ada, on the other hand, tied her hair in a half ponytail.

"Yep!" she responded then she turned to her friends, shooting her brows up.

"We'll see you guys later?" Daniel asked and Honey quickly nodded at him.

When Jada and Daniel leave, Bambi and Ada can't help but squeal. "That's some kind of Adonis!" Bambi even blurted out.

"Yes! He's a winner! Do you think Jada can handle that? He looks huge! No, he's definitely huge!" Ada commented.

Honey glared at them, "Shut up you too! He looks decent, stop imagining things!"

Lyken, on the other hand, can't sit still when Jada bids them farewell. He suddenly felt the urge to leave and pick up Natalie from her hotel so they could go to the club as quickly as possible.

He cannot not have a date tonight. At the same time, he wants to witness what will happen between Jada and Daniel.

He doesn't want to be the only one feeling jealous. 'The question is, will Jada get jealous if I show up with Natalie? Will she even care?'
