Lord Wen lifts up his hand moves his palm back and forth gesturing the guards to get out of the dining room. The door closes every single sound and movements makes Mrs Qin panic. She stops eating and faces her husband who has been staring at her a smirk playing on his lips. Her hands begins to tremble but she covers it up by clutching her palms under the short table.

“My dear wife you seem suspicious,” he grins leaning forward taking a clearer look of her when she gulps down her saliva down her dry throat. She looks straight into his eyes making sure that he doesn’t find out anything.

” I…,” She stutters when he gets up from his seat and pulls her hand gently asking her to get up and she obeys him.

Snaking his left arm around her waist he pulls her to his chest when she looks up at him horrified his smile grows bigger. Holding her chin rashly with his right hand he brings his face closer to hers, his every touch disgusting her. She stays there rooted not being able move as terror is eating her up bit by bit. “Yes, I am a monster who killed his father, his brother and took advantage of his own son’s death,” he turns around and looks at her again while she glares at him her eyes sliding to the right watching the knife on the table “They just didn’t know to protect themselves,” he turns around looking at the sword on the stand “The world will belong to me,”

Mrs Qin takes the knife slowly making sure no noise is made, getting up in a flash she moves the knife to his neck, her eyes widens when he grips her wrist and pushes her behind making her to fall on the ground. Standing on her feet quickly she rushes to him again trying to stab him but he pulls the knife from her hold and stabs the sharp blade into her stomach with no hesitation.

She lets out a sound when her mouth opens to get enough oxygen in and falls on her knees holding her stomach where the blood is oozing out uncontrollably, she was not afraid of death as long as her daughter stays alive but her heart clenched when she heard the guard from the door.

She grasp his leg with her blooded palms stopping him from keeping another step, he looks down at her his eyes showing no mercy to her begging eyes.

His lips forms to a smile when he gives pressure on it making it get into deep in her skin not caring the wound which is forming in his hand. Her movements stop along with her heavy breathing when darkness captures her, the room captures silence her nerveless eyes staring at him.

“You shouldn’t have thought of killing me,” he pulls her motionless body to a hug “I’ve wanted to keep you alive with me till the end but you…,” He pushes her body on the floor ruthlessly “You took the wrong move,”, getting up he walks out to see the guards by the gate.
