Rubbing my eyes lazily I lift my eyelids as I feel that the whole bed is in my control, sitting up straight I run my hand through my messy hair looking around to find that Feng Lei is not here. Yawning aloud I get ready to leave as I got something to do.

Uncle Wales appointed officer Yi Han to search for the duplicates files of JiangYi and the records of all his bribes with the smugglers. I was supposed to get it by noon but I couldn’t as I was busy therefore I have to leave now and I don’t think that he would mind if I meet him this late because his life will be in danger as long as the files are with him.

Holding my hips with my palms I look up inhaling a deep breath I let out by looking straight, my eyebrows furrow when I see the unlocked wooden box in the cupboard. Looking around one last time I take the huge wooden box in my hands and place it over the table.

I hesitate to open it as it’s wrong to look into other’s belongings without their permission but my evil intention is very eager to know what’s in it and finally I fell to it. Lifting the lid I place it on the table my eyes going wide to see some piles of papers in it. Digging into it I try to find something interesting but there was only a set of papers and some other things which I have no idea about it.

Did I just open a useless box with so much of thought, Why does he have to hide it in the first place?

Sighing in disappointment I move the lid close to the box but my actions pause when my eyes land on a specific piece of paper. Dropping the lid down I pick it up and open it impatiently my lips parts in astonishment.

A gasp leaves my lips when I realise it late, the house they are heading to is Yi Han’s.

Jumping forward I run upstairs to check what’s going on, I place my feet softly on the floor so that there won’t be any noise and no one will know that I’m here, bending by the window I lift up the curtain a little, my eyes staring at the scene forgetting to blink.

Fury roars through my mind in every step I keep, barging into the room I grip his arm grappling him behind pulling him backwards so that the lady can go free. Feng Lei gets up instantly clenching his hand he rapidly moves it upwards below the chin of the person in front of him making him to grunt in pain holding his jaw. Turning around he pulls the other man threatening YiHan who is urging to get closer to his wife to see if she is fine.

“I’m going to kill you,” JiangYi snarls when I remove my forearm from his neck , turning around he brings up his arm to attack but I hit him with a big right overhand punch under his ribs. Grunting low he curses under his breath glaring at me with anger.

“This is not over,” he runs out eloping in a blink of an eye making the other two men follow him.

The wind blows in the house through the open door making the veil of the person exiting the door fly a little my pupils capturing his features. Rushing towards him I stop him by holding onto his shoulder but he pushes my hand off and runs down quickly before I could follow them behind.

The only sentence running in my head right now is that I hope that person is not the one who I think it is.

I stroll back into the house to check on Yi Han’s family a feeling of satisfaction erupting in me because the proof of JiangYi’s evil deeds will be in my hand and I will hand it over to the head of the officer soon so that he will lose his job.

My muscles stiffens on abrupt movement, a shriek leaves my lips when my body slams on the wall at the entrance, he brings his face close to mine while I stare at him, his eyes showing that he is in rage.

“What are you doing here without covering your face?,” He questions lividly.

“Don’t you think that you owe me an explanation?,” I retort pushing his arm away which he held at the either side to cage me.
