She Prince

I observe his every single action being cautious as his behaviour after knowing what I need is doubtful. He glances at me slowly and throws the jar towards me in a blink of an eye, sliding to my left over the bench I stand up and kick the person beside me on his stomach letting the ceramic crash on the floor.

I spring up from the table knocking it over and causing other men to turn their heads to watch the scene , in a split second I pull back my arm clenching my fist, I throw it forward with force that knocked on the man I played with backwards when it connected, the dull thud and gasp of breath confirmed that I winded him.

The chattering of the crowd fades away when others leave the place I heard someone joining them to help but someone else stopped him informing that I’m the fifth prince. That conversation in the background took me off guard as many people in the states didn’t know I was the fifth prince because I always maintained a low profile to stay out of trouble.

I come back to the leader of the gang with whom I played a few moments back after beating his minions, pulling his collar I try to lift him up but couldn’t due his weight, grunting loud I try to keep him in a sitting position my mind advising me to work out on my body leaving my skills aside.

Bending low I place palm over the wooden pole on which he rests his shoulders on and my other palm over his right shoulder to hold him in place.

“Where is the letter?,” I ask in a low voice alarmingly.

Curling my palm I punch across his cheekbone “Where is it?,” My voice comes out loud angrily, placing my foot on his leg I trample it hard over his already injured ankle.

“It’s..,” he lets out a scream in pain when which makes me to loosen the pressure “Officer JiangYi took it,” he answers weakly, stepping back I stand straight my eyes never leaving his.

He moves his leg to his thigh and holds his ankle massaging it, taking my pouch from the floor I throw it on him.

Rushing out I make my way to the crime department, my patience level is on point zero right now that my anger is controlling my mind. Hiding from the guards I get in through the window of the second floor successfully but no one is there and the surrounding seemed like no one has been in here since morning. Jumping off the window I hurry to the market and other places where he usually goes as I know all his schedule after stalking him for ages.

The sun is going to set and it’s becoming dark, the doors of academy will be closed after few hours and I should return before that. Taking a deep in I walk into the Shilin lane, it’s the place where he rarely visits, I’ve seen him coming here only once and this is the last place in my list.

Praying to god that he should be in I pull out the piece of cloth from my pocket and tie it around my face. Holding the steel ring of the door at the end corner of lane, I push the door open slightly but the sound of old wooden door creak echoes in the empty hallway, I peep my head in and there stood the person I’m looking for.

I see him holding the envelope close to the fireplace, he looks at me and throws the paper to the fire immediately letting it burn. Standing up he runs towards me and I hurry to him, we face each other in a distance where a child could crawl between us. Taking a step forward he brings his arm front to punch me but I bend low and punch on his stomach which makes him to step back dragging his feet.

Jiangyi is doubled over, the punch has caught him off guard and he curses himself, being relentless I swing another punch towards his head. Instinctively he blocks the punch and counters with an upwards cut to my neck which makes me to fall over coughing. Biting my lower lip I get on my feet instantly and kick his stomach which makes him to bend low to hold his stomach for the forceful blow, taking his position as an advantage I roll over his back and grasp his neck backwards his moans filling the room.

A shriek leaves my lips when I felt my hand being grasped by someone and the very next second I’m slammed on the wall, I open my eyes and look up to see the one gripping my shoulders.

“Nothing is going to happen if he dies,” he grunts, I could sense him gritting his teeth even though his face is half covered with the black material.

“He deserves to die,” I growl pushing him away I make my way to jiangyi who is laying on the floor holding his stomach with one hand and rubbing his neck with the other.

Pulling him by his collar I make him stand and he does it too, he brings up his hand to capture me but before he could I hold his arm twist it behind his back.

“I’m gonna reveal all your deeds tonight,” I grunt low with in my breaths and again I get pulled over and slammed on the wall.

“You’re ruining my plans,” he growls slamming his palm on the wall beside my right ear which sends vibration through my ears.

I look up at him “You…..,”

He cages me into his arms and leans forward our face just a few inches away “He is the only dog we have,” he grits his voice coming out dangerously low.

“I got my own ways,” I kick him on his stomach which makes him to fall back.

Keeping wide steps towards JiangYi I bend low to pull him up, I keep a step back when he pushes me and lays on me on the ground in a split second holding a sharp wooden piece a few inches away from my left chest as his palm is buried into mine. I try to lift his hand up but it is becoming difficult as he gives too much pressure to it, taking his other hand he brings it closer to my face trying to lift my veil, a smile makes it’s way on my face which makes him to look at me surprised, lifting my leg up between his I push him by kicking over his stomach. Grabbing the piece of wood from him I move it towards his neck but the piece of wood falls over the ground when my grip loosens as my arm I’m being pulled away forcefully.

He slams me on the wall and places his arm over my chest holding me in place. My mind completely diverts from JiangYi to him, looking at his arm I move my gaze up wriggling in his grip.

His hand is right above my breasts and I’m trying my best to push him away but he doesn’t even budge, I really got to focus on my strength than skills.

“Let me go,” I grit my teeth wriggling in his grip feeling uncomfortable of his touch, putting my whole strength I try to move him away going mad. Turning to left when the creak of door got into my ears my eyebrows furrows and my anger is raging up right now.

JiangYi escapes.

“Let me go,” I scream struggling in his hold, my actions pause and my eyes falls out of it’s sockets with my jaw dropped on the ground when his words rings in my ears, it’s like my heart beat stopped and came back to register his words in my mind.

“I know who you are,” his face is just a few inches away from mine our nose almost brushing against each other and I’m sure that he could hear my heartbeat which is beating rapidly in astonishment.
