Isabelle went home, her heart pounding. Alessandro squeezed her hand gently, making it known that he was there for her.

She entered inside the house, expecting her father to flare at her and start dishing out punishments but was shocked to see two identical kids, probably in 16 or 17 years and Ann sitting on the couch.

“Ahhh!” They both screamed and rushed to hug her, she was shocked and screamed also.

They released her immediately, looking at her with questioning gazes.

“Who the fuck are these brats!” She thundered looking at their beaming faces.

“I’m Annabella and he’s Andrew” The grip answered, taking her hand in a firm handshake.

“We are your biggest fan, my room is filled with your pictures” The boy announced eagerly and she glanced at them then back at her father and Ann who was fuming.

“Did you call me here to meet these kids?”

“Stop it!” Her father scolded.

“Annabella, Andrew. Get back here now!” Ann instructed and they both pouted, shoulders slumped with sad looks as they walked back to their mother.

“These are my kids” Ann introduced and Isabelle stared at her with amazement.

“The reason I called you here is to tell you that we’ll be gone for two days and you need to stay with them” Roberto dropped the bomb and Isabelle arched her ear, not believing her ears.

“You what! You want me to babysit these annoying kids, how do you expect me to cope with them? I have a few roles to act tomorrow and you expect me to sit my ass and babysit them?!” She glared and Ann got mad.

“Shut the hell up! They can accompany you to the movie set and it’s not like they would jump into trouble the way you’ve always been doing. They are well mannered and trained kids unlike you!” Ann retorted, standing up and Annabella held her.

“Stop it! You’re babysitting them and that’s final! Ann let’s leave” Roberto instructed and they left after exchanging hugs.

Isabelle stared at the two jumpy kids who were excited to meet their favorite celebrity.

“I remember you, you’re her guard who didn’t protect her well the time she got kidnapped. That day was an awful one, I cried my eyes out” Annabella confessed and Alessandro, who had been beside Isabelle, touched her shoulder.

She shivered and turned to him, tears in her eyes as she sniffed and hugged him.

The kids ran to enclose her in a hug, crying with her without knowing the actual reason.

“I feel so emotional, these are tears of joy, meeting you is a dream come true” Andrew confessed and Annabella nodded.

Isabelle cleaned her tears and maintained a straight face while they stared at her with admiration.

“I’ll tell the maids to give you rooms and stack it with whatever you need till your mom returns..”

She instructed a maid to give them separate rooms and was annoyed when they didn’t follow the maid, rather they stood with looks of amusement.

“Can I share your bed? Could we have a sleepover party? Would you have dinner with us? Can I see what your room looks like?” Annabella demanded excitedly and Isabelle sighed, thinking about the stress she would pass through for the next two days.

“Can I act in a movie with you? Can I go train with your guards, I’ll love to protect you and everybody when I grow up” Andrew confessed and her heart swelled.

“These kids adore you, the best you can do is make their stay fun” Alessandro muttered and she nodded.

“Okay, have a nap and in the evening we would play some games then have a sleepover” She declared and they both screamed with joy, hugging her immediately.

Alessandro called his mom and informed her that he wouldn’t be returning home. He disappeared to the pool and the door opened, revealing Elena and Aurora.

“Someone is gonna be babysitting for a while!” Elena teased and Isabelle rolled her eyes.

“Who told you that?”

“The president of course, he called me personally and pleaded with me to come stay with you or you might go crazy soon” Elena continued and Aurora frowned.

“So what are your plans for them? Sending them out? Looking them up or getting a real nanny for them?” Aurora questioned and Elena gasped.

“Geez! Her plans for them should be how we would be spending time with them and making lovely memories not running away from them”

“Children can be annoying and stressful” Aurora pointed out grumpily and Elena laughed.

“They can also be cute and very fun to be with” Elena added and Isabelle burst into laughter.

“I told them to have a nap then we could have a sleepover”

“What! You should have told them that they could watch any movie they like while we go clubbing” Aurora retorted and Isabelle frowned, shaking her head.

“I don’t know why I said that, it felt like the right thing to say to them, anyways, Alessandro is at the pool. I’m off to take a nap” Isabelle excused herself.

Isabelle walked downstairs and the aroma of freshly baked cakes hit her nostrils, she took a cupcake and headed for the pool.

She saw Elena and Alessandro splashing water at each other in the pool while Annabella and Andrew swam together.

She saw Aurora sitting on a recliner, frowning as she applied cream on her body.

Alessandro waved at her when he saw her and she hissed, turning on her heels. Andrew and Annabella ran after her, stopping her before she could enter the house.

“Would you like to join us? What time would the sleepover start?” They questioned eagerly and she momentarily forgot about her jealousy and smiled.

“The sleepover would start immediately after dinner, we would all watch scary movies and stuff our faces with popcorn” She replied, ruffling Andrew’s hair.

“Sounds like a great plan, can I see your room … please.. pretty please” Annabella pleaded and after a long pause Isabelle agreed, making her jump happily.

Isabelle ushered Annabella into her room and She screamed, covering her mouth.

“Your room looks just like heaven, I wouldn’t mind being trapped here for years” She confessed, glancing at the mirror, bed and portraits.Content is © 2024 NôvelDrama.Org.

Isabelle opened her closet and Annabella’s mouth dropped, she stared at the hundred clothes with shock.

“Your clothes are beautiful” She confessed and Isabelle smiled, she liked the kid who was so unlike their annoying mother.

“Let’s go have dinner” Isabelle offered and eventually had to drag Annabella, who was very reluctant, out.

They got to the dinning and Isabelle fumed when she saw Elena sitting close to Alessandro while Andrew was chattering about something Aurora wasn’t interested in hearing.

“I’ve decided that the movie we would be watching would be a scary one” Isabelle announced and they smiled while Aurora glanced at them with resentment.

“You know I hate scary movies right? Can’t we watch something like kdrama or anything romantic?” Aurora retorted and Isabelle shook her head negatively while Elena smiled at Alessandro who was staring at Isabelle intently.

She felt his gaze on her and buried her head into her food, glancing up to occasionally look at Annabella.

They went to the movie room and Elena took two seats for her and Alessandro while Isabelle sat with Annabella. Aurora whined about how terrible the movie was but now one paid attention to her.

Isabelle excused herself and went to the bathroom, she was coming out of her room when Alessandro grabbed her waist and pushed her to the wall gently.

They were very close and she could smell his aftershave, hear his heartbeat and feel his hot breath on her.

He stared at her eyes, searching for something and she avoided eye contact.

“What’s wrong with you? I’ve been trying to talk to you but you ain’t giving me chance”

“What do you wanna talk about? I’m busy, we can talk about it tomorrow. I have to go” She replied, trying to push him away and he held her shoulders.

She shivered and recoiled with shock, he stared at her and it was obvious that they had both experienced the shock.

“Isabelle look at me and tell me what is wrong” He ordered, looking at her eyes, her lips quivered and he captured them with his, his hand running up her waist.

She moaned and drew him closer, her hand massaging his back.

She didn’t care whether the maids were around as all she wanted was to be kissed by this man till she lost her senses.

They were so engrossed that they didn’t notice Aurora walk inside.

“Yuck!” She screamed with disgust and Elena rushed to where they were. She was shocked when she saw them and shook her head, finding it hard to believe.

“That’s very gross, how could you be kissing your guard. This lowlife?” Aurora demanded hotly.

“Stay out of this!” Isabelle thundered and she clamped her mouth shut.

“What’s going on? Don’t tell me you can explain because this is self explanatory” Elena replied, choking on a sob and Alessandro held her hand.

“I’m sorry but I can’t be the man you want to be..”

“But you can be the man for her?” Elena retorted, tears rolling out of her eyes.

“He never asked you out so why are you making a fuss? He wasn’t your boyfriend and if he wants me then so be it!” Isabelle blasted and Elena left the house.
