“What’s wrong Lilian?” Lettice questioned, Lilian had barged inside her office where she and Isabelle were discussing.

“You bitch! I’ll get back at you for all these. You wanna play dirty? Then get ready to roll in the mud” Lilian threatened and strutted out, leaving Isabelle shocked.

“What is wrong with her?”

“You shouldn’t bother yourself with that, what’s important is that you got another role while she got the second female lead, that’s why she’s pissed off” Lettice informed and Isabelle laughed.

“She’s in for a big show, I’ll show her what it means to mess with Isabelle, so where are we heading today?” Isabelle asked, looking forward to acting.

“We will head out soon but the company has a few rules for you. Isabelle, I know you aren’t used to things like this and all but you need to lay low, wear costumes that you’re given, avoid fighting with anyone, especially seniors, and come early”

“The board members have placed you on probation and any mistake would cost you your career” Lettice advised and it dawned on Isabelle that ruining her career would cause more harm.

“Sure, can we go now?”

“She’s coming this way, get the water ready” An actress whispered and another held a bucket of water, they waited till Isabelle was close by and poured it’s content on her, pretending not to have seen her.

“Are you insane?! Do you know how much this dress costs?” Isabelle ranted as Lettice held her hand and tried to make her calm.

“I’m sorry I didn’t see you there”

“You’re blind right? Why would a blind person be allowed on the set?” Isabelle spilled.

“Excuse you, I won’t have you talking to my friend that way. I was the one who instructed her to pour the water, it ain’t her fault that you walked by when she poured it” Lilian defended and Isabelle clenched her fist, her fingers aching to hit Lilian.

“Is that so, then I forgive you?” She muttered after taking a few deep breaths.

“She never apologized”

“She doesn’t need to, I don’t accept apologies from wretched people” Isabelle replied and walked out.

“That’s the spirit girl, don’t let them affect you” Lilian advised, drawing Isabelle for a hug.

Something snapped within Isabelle and she couldn’t understand the feeling of comfort and peace that filled her as she wrapped her hand around Lilian’s back.

The movie began and Lilian did all she could do to get on Isabelle’s nerves but Isabelle ignored her like a plague.

They finished for the day, and everyone was surprised that Isabelle didn’t complain and she acted her role well.

“Nice job Isabelle” The director complimented as they dispersed.

“Girl, you did great. We should go celebrate this at a club, get drunk and have fun” Elena suggested and Isabelle shook her head.

“Sorry babes, I have a few things to settle, bye dearies” Isabelle excused herself.

“What progress have you made, if you can’t get Roberto then get his daughter. I’m sure he would surrender when his daughter’s life is at stake”

“But sir, we’ve tried but she’s always with a convoy. The guards around her are numerous and it wouldn’t be easy to track her for 24 hours without being seen. We would try our best, Liam would be put in the set to get closer to her”

“Make sure she falls for him this week. There’s going to be a vote for who should run for president for the party. Roberto must never be allowed to vote”

The studio

“You have a new endorsement deal, it’s for a celebrity magazine. You would be their new cover picture.

But the only problem is that you would have to take pictures with a guy” Alessio stopped.

“So, what’s wrong with taking a few pictures with a guy?”

“This isn’t just any guy. He’s cute as fuck, sexy as your ass and so dreamy. Staring at him got me so horny..” Alessio blurted out, having a distant smile on his face.

“You can have him, he’s all yours” Isabelle muttered, waking out with Alessandro and Alessio.

He looked stunning and was slowly taking her breath away. Alessio bit his lips, playing with a strand of his hair as he stared at Liam.

Isabelle shivered at the thought of kissing his sensual lips and shook her head, trying to get a grip on her thoughts.

“I told you, girl. He’s damn hot” Alessio whispered and Alessandro shot him a glare.

“Hello, pleasure to meet you pretty” Liam took her hand and placed a light kiss, earning a blush from Alessio and Isabelle.

“The stage has been set, I would have loved to have a few chit chat with you but we’re late. How about lunch after the pictures?” Liam asked with a wink and Isabelle nodded, smiling broadly.

She noticed a few envious glances from other girls and shrugged, going to dress.

Alessandro was boiling inside and wanted to punch Liam, he hated the cocky look he got from the guy, the guy seemed nice which infuriated him the more.

Alessandro went outside to get some fresh air, the studio felt stuffy and the way Liam held her waist made him feel sick.

“Hey Alessandro” Elena called, she opened her arms wide, enclosing the shocked man in a hug.

“Hey Elena, what are you doing outside?”

“Nothing much, I came to take a little walk”

“Why is a damsel in distress? What’s making you worried?” Liam asked when he noticed Isabelle standing outside, she was furious and had been checking her phone every second.

“It’s my dumb driver, I don’t know where the hell he is”

“Mind if I give you a ride, you owe me a date. I promise not to take much of your time” Liam pleaded with puppy eyes and Isabelle laughed.

“No, I don’t think I have time, maybe some other tim… Sure, let’s go now” She said immediately she caught sight of Elena and Alessandro holding hands, they smiled warmly at each other as they walked slowly towards her.

She felt angry, jealous, and pained, she didn’t understand why she didn’t want any girl to be around Alessandro even when he meant nothing to her.

“Isabelle, are you going out for lunch, I thought we had plans?” Elena demanded and got a hard glare from Isabelle.

She stopped when she noticed Alessandro following her. “Don’t follow me, I don’t need you to ruin my day for me” She spat out and Alessandro shook his head.

“I can’t disobey the president’s order miss”

“Just go away okay?! Take a little stroll, take a long one, never return!” She yelled and Liam held her waist.

“You don’t have to stress yourself over this thing, he’s just a guard and nothing more. You should learn to follow her orders, I’ll leave a bad report for you at your company or get you changed” Liam interfered.

“Stay out of this, this is between Isabelle and I”

“What effrontery, how dare you call her by her name?” Liam yelled, puffing his chest at Alessandro who seemed ready to fight.

“Stop it you guys! Liam let’s go” Isabelle said firmly as she got into Liam’s car, Liam smirked at Alessandro with triumph.

“Where do you think we should head to?” Liam requested as he started the car.

“Just take me anywhere far from him,” She replied.

“How about my house, it’s far, cozy and made for pretty angels like you” He flirted and she giggled.

“You’re honey coated, your house is fine. How many minutes would it take before we get there?”

“Say 30 minutes at most, I promise to get you back early for your next shoot”
