Sextuplets From Ruthless Love

Chapter 76

"Stop drinking. You were already drunk just now. If you continue drinking, you might create trouble later on and hamper the progress of important proceedings." Jessica nodded. "Yes, Mr. Gulliford."

She secretly twitched her lips. There were no important things happening that day.

Furthermore, it was an internal gathering among the company employees. The original intention of the gathering was to reward the employees and allow them to relax. Yet, she felt like she was working overtime.Ccontent © exclusive by Nô/vel(D)ra/ma.Org.

The programs proceeded one after the other, and the celebrities on stage paid special attention to the audience seated near Trevor. After all, everyone wanted to have a good relationship with a powerful boss like him. "Now, I want to invite a pretty lady onstage to sing this song with me."

The popular rookie celebrity on stage narrowed his eyes as he smiled warmly. He looked especially

charming.

A commotion arose offstage. Some female employees cheered fervently.

The rookie celebrity walked to the table nearest to the stage, which happened to be where Trevor was seated at. He looked at Jessica, who was sitting beside Trevor, and smiled. "Can you sing this song with me, pretty lady?" Cheers erupted offstage. Jessica smiled professionally and did not speak.

Before she could react, Trevor calmly replied, "She can't do so. Find someone else."

"Oh..." The rookie celebrity felt a little awkward. However, when he saw Trevor's unwavering attitude, he hurriedly looked around to pick another person in the crowd.

The audience was unable to forget about the minor hiccup. "Mr. Gulliford doesn't allow his secretary to go onstage to sing with him? He's too protective of her, isn't he? What's the relationship between the two of them?" they wondered. Jessica touched her forehead secretly.

"What's wrong with this Trevor? Has he discovered my true identity? That can't be. If he knows who I am, he won't be like this. He would have gotten people to capture me a long time ago," she reasoned with herself.

She was unable to tell what Trevor was thinking and could only remain seated and watch the program. She leaned against the back of the chairand felt the wind caress her face. The effects of the alcohol appeared again. She was so tired that she almost fell asleep. "Martin. Bring her to my room first and let her sleep. Let her come out again when she's awake," Trevor ordered serenely.

When his employee seated behind him heard what he had said, her expression changed drastically.

"Goodness! Mr. Gulliford allows this woman to stay in his room! What have I heard? This is a huge piece of gossip!" she thought.

"There's no need."

Jessica immediately waved her hand and pretended to be overwhelmed by his favor.

"Is Trevor like this with every woman he meets? I've only known him for a short period! He can't possibly be a playboy, can he? Have I not seen the situation wrongly from the very start eight years ago? Is he truly a

playboy? Has he been putting on an aet all this while?" she thought.

"Martin, bring her to rest. She can rest in whichever room she likes. The room fees can be deducted from her salary," Trevor ordered calmly.

He stared at the performances

without tearing his gaze from the stage. Helonged to not conceal his emotions and tell Jessica that he loved her straightforwardly. No matter what she wanted, he would give it to her at all costs.

However, he was very afraid that he would scare away his little princess if he did so.

It was not easy for him to meet her again. He would not let her run away once more.

Jessica nodded. As she had

expected Trevor was not a man who was very caring and

considerate of unfamiliar women. In

the end, the room fees would still be deducted from her salary.

"Then, I have to thank you, Mr. Gulliford."

She smiled insincerely and stood up. After exchanging perfunctory pleasantries with Trevor, she left with Martin.

Martin trailed after her and did not speak. The woman in front of him was Mrs. Gulliford. He felt that it was best if he shut his mouth and avoided trouble.

"Martin, I've helped you a lot this time. Mr. Gulliford has even lost his temper at me. How will you return the favor?"

Jessica's footsteps halted as she turned around to look at him with narrowed eyes.

"This... Is there anything I can help you with?"
