Chapter 195
Jessica looked at him, who was devouring deliciously. She couldn't help but also picked up a piece of cauliflower and put it in her mouth. How yummy!
One would still like their favorite food no matter how time passed.
Would it be the same for people?
Leah wanted to tease Jessica. However, just when she was about to say something, she noticed Trevor who was sitting beside Jessica, and immediately shut her mouth. This belongs © NôvelDra/ma.Org.
She was terrified of Trevor. His cold gaze was like a sharp knife that could pierce through anyone. She couldn't help but be afraid of Trevor, especially when Maximilian was not present. After they had their meal, Trevor told his assistant to get Jessica's clothes tailor-made before the afternoon.
The two of them were bored at the Gulliford family mansion, hence Trevor called over the two sketch
comedians to his house again.
He remembered Jessica had a lot of fun when she watched the sketch comedy last time, so he assumed that she liked it.
Jessica didn't have a great interest in sketch comedy, however, she was happy that she got to spend time with Bennett.
It had been so long since she was able to spend time with her children. In the past three years, she felt like she owed him the motherly love that he needed.
And Bennett couldn't be happier to sit in the middle of daddy and mommy while watching sketch comedy.
Bennett was focused on watching the comedy and Jessica was staring at Bennett, while Trevor was staring at his wife.
It was until the afternoon that the tailor-made dress was sent to their house. Jessica tried on the dress and the size of the dress fit just right on her body. The style of the dress was not bad as well. It looked like it was designed by a famous designer.
The design and the accessories were all well complementing each other.
It was not cliche, yet it was not too exaggerated as well.
Jessica wore her dress after she put on makeup, and brought Bennett out of her room right before they were going to depart for the banquet.
Trevor was in a suit and was leaning against the wall. When he saw Jessica walk out of the room, he felt like his world had immediately brightened up. She was still the Jessica that he knew. No matter how her face or her identity had changed, she was still Jessica.
She was classy and charming as usual.
"You look stunning, Jessica!" Trevor complimented her.
The goddess that captivated my soul a few years ago was back! he exclaimed inwardly.
"Don't talk nonsense!" Jessica refuted and sighed helplessly.
"Okay, anything you say! Let's go down!" Trevor
replied.
He held her hand and his eyes were full of affection.
Everyone was stunned when they saw both of them go down the stairs.
Maximilian immediately understood why his grandson had fallen head over heels for her. She was indeed gorgeous.
To be honest, she looked like someone with high status. However, too bad that she didn't have a good family background.
If only she had a moderate family background, Maximilian would not have opposed their marriage.
Among all the women, the
granddaughter-in-law that he liked the most was the girl from the Jackson family. She had the best status and identity. Too bad her character was unacceptable as she took someone's life.
Leah glared enviously at them while clenching her fist tightly.
It's okay. She's not going to defeat me that easily! she comforted herself.
Leah walked toward Jessica while holding a small blade in her hand "The hem of your dress has some creases! Let me fix it for you!" Leah said while a smile bloomed on her face.
"Get lost!" Trevor groaned.
Who would've thought that before she could even get near Jessica, Trevor's groan immediately stopped her footsteps?
"Trevor, I just wanted to help Jessica to fix her dress!" Leah had a pity look on her face. She lightly pouted her soft lips as if she was wronged.
"Who do you think you are?" Trevor had his hands in his pocket and fixed his cold stare on her. His eyes were full of mockery.
This was how this man had always
behaved. He had no mercy toward other women. If it wasn't for his attitude, he wouldn't have been mistaken for a homosexual by others.
