Chapter 3194
Chapter 3194
Dylan was speechless for a moment. "I'm your brother."
"I have so many brothers, but you're the only one who's done something like that. You're about to embarrass the York reputation thoroughly."
Dylan was again shocked. It was a big deal, then! What had he done to embarrass his family?
"Zack."
"Go wait at the corner!"
Helplessly, Dylan went to the corner and obediently waited for time to pass. He finally experienced what it felt like to have minutes felt like years. It was excruciating.
Finally, it was time for dinner. Zachary shut off his computer and made his way around his desk.
Dylan immediately stood and went up to him like a dog after a bone, all smiles. "Are you tired, Zack?"
Zachary threw him a side glance as he said, "Very. Can you split the burden with me?"
"I-I do help out!"
Almost every young man of York was helping out with the family business, though the bigger part of the burden was still Zachary's to bear.
The rest were more concerned with what they liked to do, unlike Zachary who only had one goal-to grow York Corporation and make it indomitable.
Zachary gave Dylan another glance, which shut him up.
Even if they had their own business to tend to, they were not as busy and tired as Zachary was.
York Corporation was a very heavy burden to shoulder.
Zachary worked himself to the bone so they could do as they wished. He did not ask them to take on heavy workloads and instead only arranged work that coincided with their interests so that they could gain experience.
"Seren, I'm done." Zachary walked toward his beloved wife.
When Dylan heard the tender way Zachary called Serenity's name, he shuddered.
Zachary's severely limited amount of tenderness belonged to Serenity.
A pretty face suddenly came to Dylan's mind, which was quickly replaced with another.
He hurriedly gathered his drifting thoughts. He could only marry one woman. Should he choose her, or her? Dylan was very conflicted.
The person chosen for him was excellent. They got along well, but he kept feeling something was missing.
On the other hand, he managed to
find the woman from his dreams. They did not get on well and constantly argued, sometimes even getting into a fight like they were enemies, but he still preferred being with her.
It was no wonder they could not stay away from each other in his dreams. It was because, deep inside, he liked her a little more than Grandma May's candidate, whom he lacked that bit of passion for. S
One was the woman he truly liked, while the other was his nana's pick.
Dylan knew that Grandma May had considered his disposition when making her choice, so the lady had to be a good match for him.All text © NôvelD(r)a'ma.Org.
If he had not found the woman from his dreams, he would definitely do as Grandma May wished-to date, marry, have kids, and spend the rest of his life with her. However, he just had to find the woman from his dreams.
Dylan was conflicted. He did not even know her name. All he knew was her nickname—the "Chameleon Fox".
She was good at hand-to-hand
combat, kind-hearted, gorgeous, and
a little playful. Her background and
kept such a secret that even e could not find anything about it.
He felt it was foolish to marry a woman whose name, family, and background he knew nothing of, even if his family was open-minded.
Dylan thought of asking Julian for help, but Julian was busy with his own love life too, and could not be bothered.
