Serenity and Zachary York

Chapter 3133

Chapter 3133

Weston mused, “I feel like Mr. York isn’t an ordinary person.”

“What is he, if not? He can’t be Superman, now can he?”

Weston did not reply to that.

He just felt that Austin had a dignified air, different from ordinary chefs like them.

“Dad, are we going to visit someone else?”

“They’ve got their guards up against us, so no. This time, I have a feeling that it’s Mr. York’s win.” Weston sighed. He was ultimately inferior.

Jovanne comforted, “Dad, the O’Connors haven’t announced the results yet. No one knows who’ll have the last laugh. Mr. York’s nerves might get the better of him and he might make a mistake during his second interview.”

“He won’t. He’s young, but he looks mature and steady, like someone who’s seen it all.” Weston had a very good impression of his competitor Austin.

Meanwhile, his daughter felt that Austin only had his good looks to speak for him.

However, it was true that he was a shrewd guy.

Everyone was just headed for the same goal. They would meet once or twice and would not cross paths again.

They would not think much of this interaction with Austin, likewise for Austin.

Austin was already all packed. He only grabbed a change of clothes for an overnight stay at the O’Connors’.

Then, he went to the lobby to wait for Dominic.

Dominic did not make him wait long and he arrived at the hotel around fifteen minutes later.

Austin thought someone else was going to pick him up and had not expected Dominic to come personally.

“Mr. York.” Dominic very quickly spotted Austin and strode over to him.

Austin stood up to greet him with his bag.

“Hello, Dominic.”

Dominic smiled. “I was worried they wouldn’t be able to recognize you and would pick up the wrong person, so I came in person. Are you ready to go?” NôvelDrama.Org owns all content.

“Yes. I just need a change of clothes.”

“Let’s go, then.”

Austin hummed in acknowledgment and followed Dominic out.

Dominic drove them to the O’Connors’ estate, Dunboy Manor.

On the way, they chatted idly and only talked about irrelevant things. Austin did not ask about Isabella.

There was no point, anyway.

Even if he asked, Dominic would not answer.

He was guarded.

The O’Connors valued their privacy very much.

Every employee at the O’Connors’ home had to sign a confidentiality agreement and promise they would not disclose a single thing about the O’Connors without their consent.

If they breached that agreement, the amount of compensation was astronomical for any ordinary person.

“Have you gotten used to the winter here? I heard that winter in Wiltspoon isn’t cold.”
