“He was involved in a fight the other person replied, then added, “since he’s your brother, I need you to come to the police

station.

“Okay, I’ll come over now.” Oona hung up the phone and noted the time before getting out of bed. She freshened up and then headed downstairs with her phone. NôvelDrama.Org owns this text.

Oona had initially planned to walk to the courtyard entrance to hail a cab, but as soon as she stepped out of the villa, she heard a loud honk.

There was a black car parked right outside the villa.

The driver’s window rolled down, revealing a handsome and noble visage. His brows and eyes, resembling a painting, exuded a chilly air in the darkness, yet his features were strikingly handsome.

His slightly upturned eyes turned towards Oona. Even narrowed, his almond–shaped eyes held a hint of intoxicating charm and allure. He effortlessly exuded an aura of refinement and nobility.

Oona hadn’t expected to see him outside the villa and couldn’t help but frown. “What are you doing here?”

“Where are you off to? Need a ride?” He ignored her question despite the implied “at this late hour” in her tone, instead directing a flirtatious look towards Oona.

“No, thank you!” Oona Walsh wasn’t interested in his blatant flirting and gave him the shoulder.

“Why, scared of me?” The man’s strikingly handsome face carried a hint of a smile as he continued to fix that gaze on her.

“I’m not interested in you, so your tactics won’t work on me.” Oona met Clayton’s gaze with an icy one.

Suddenly, a smile tugged at the corner of his lips, and his already handsome and noble face became even more charming with that smile.

Having seen many outstandingly handsome men, Oona still had to admit that this man, indeed, had a face that could topple

nations.

Clayton observed the girl’s cold demeanor with a light chuckle. “You won’t catch a cab here at this hour. At best, you might have to wait for an hour or two before one shows up. Why not hop in? I can take you to your destination.”

He was being all too casual with her!

Clayton had anticipated a wait, considering the girl seemed like a tough nut to crack. But to his surprise, Oona spared him a glance, then flashed a cool smile. Her entire aura hinted at mischief and recklessness.

“Sure, thanks, Mister she replied with a sharp edge in her tone..

Clayton was caught by surprise at how attractive she looked when she smiled. Then, her smile widened maliciously. “Behave!”

Oona went straight to the seat behind the passenger seat, sitting as far as possible from the driver.

“Where to?” Clayton didn’t mind the little brat giving him attitude. After all, wives should be spoiled a bit.

“The police station!” Oona stated blandly.

Clayton’s hand on the steering wheel froze, and he looked at her through the rearview mirror. “You’re not planning to report me, are you?”

“You’re the one who wanted to drive me

Oona leaned back in her seat, an air of dominance surrounding her, her cold gaze watching Clayton as he drove.

Clayton smiled as they departed from Gustama Court and headed straight for the police station, where they arriv time at all.

Oona took out a wad of cash from the original host’s wallet and placed it on the seat, stating icily, “Keep the chan
