Chapter 13: Bab 12

"All I know, my heart chooses you."

Want to ask, please. Where have you been?

Me: Banjarbaru, South Kalimantan?

ARJuna's ARRIVAL suddenly shocked Starla. Especially when the boy suddenly pulled his hand,

entered Starla's house.

"Heh, are you crazy?" Starla said as she threw her hand away.

"You are crazy! What are you doing asking the Gods of all anther?" said Arjuna while shaking his head.

"I know what I'm doing, Jun. Lo better be quiet and be a spectator."

"Your way is getting weirder every day, La. Farther away from our original plan!" Arjuna stared at Starla

sharply. Material © NôvelDrama.Org.

Starla shook her head, then tapped the boy in front of her. "I'm Starla, I know what I'm doing, Jun. Your

job is only to help me, so that Dewa always meets me. I'll take care of the rest, isn't that easy?"

Arjuna sighed roughly. "You have to take care of yourself, La. The god never looks at girls or boys.

Don't be too emotional."

"Sooner or later, I'll be able to control him. Just calm down."

"What about your leg? It hurts?"

"Yes, it hurts, you idiot. He's just fucking hard," Starla said irritably.

"Alright, take care of yourself. The incident was a warning that you don't provoke God too much. Our

plan can fail," warned Arjuna.

"Yes, yes. What a bitch." Starla rolled her eyes lazily.

"But, are you sure we're going to make it, La?" asked Arjuna doubtfully.

Starla took a deep breath, then gave it a rough sigh. His hesitant expression, replaced with a smile.

"Don't call me Starla, if I conquer God I can't."

"This is the reason why it's so hard, really? The feeling when you explain it, for example, it's not like

this." Larissa complained as she slammed the pen onto her assignment book.

"I swear, yes. It's such a habit for teachers, you know. What do you do? In a cow pen, there are two

cows, then five goats are added. How many chicks are in the cage?" dumel Natasya as she read the

question, "What cage do I think I ever played in?"

"That's easy," said Starla as she popped the potato chips into her mouth.

"Is that the answer?" Larissa asked.

"Zero," Starla said. Larissa suddenly saw multiple choices in her assignment book, and there was

indeed an answer.

"There is, but really? How do you know where to try?"

Starla turned to her two friends, then tapped her temple with her index finger. "Use this."

"Yeah, I know your brain is smart, Star. But, sometimes your cleverness is a danger to people," said

Natasya. The girl shook her head.

"Just logic, here. Cows and goats are natural, yes, one cage, you just look everywhere, are there any

chickens in the same cage with cows or goats? There aren't any," said Starla.

"The conclusion?"

"Yes, there is no alias zero, that's how complicated it is." Starla went back to eating the chips.

"Don't worry Starla's brain, follow boss!" Larissa immediately wrote down the answer.

The three of them are now in Starla's room doing homework together. The initial goal was because

they wanted to hear Starla's story about him who deliberately took Dewa's helmet so he wouldn't be left

home, and the rest because Starla's room was the most comfortable basecamp.

"Finally finished this task," said Natasya.

"Cheating on number fifty, Ca. Finally," said Larissa.

"No, don't! Do it yourself!" Natasya reflexively pulled her assignment book so that Larissa could not

take it.

Larisa pursed her lips. "What a cheapskate!"

"Do it, work. In this world there is nothing instant, instant noodles have to be boiled first."

"Bring instant noodles, I'm so hungry."

"I'm hungry too," said Starla. The girl got up from her position, "I'll go down first, I want to ask Bibi to

make food."

"All, yeah." Larissa flashed a grin.

"Lo, Ca?" asked Starla.

"Yes, deh," said Natasya.

Starla nodded. "Okay, wait." Then the girl left her room.

"Ah, right now I want to ask for my room to be made like Starla's so it's cool," said Larissa.

"Hahah, you want any model room if you are lazy to clean it, just the edges, it's messy." Natasya shook

her head.

"Wh-what, is that?" Larissa narrowed her eyes as she focused on seeing the object she saw under the

bed.

Natasya's eyes bulged. "Don't say it's Tante Titi, or om Keke, or the like ...."

"What is it." Larissa rolled her eyes lazily, she got up, to confirm what she saw.

Natasya noticed Larissa's movements, then came closer. "What is that?"

"This is a photo, I just used to ask," said Larissa.

"Yes, I know it's a photo, whose photo is it!" Natasya hit Larissa in the head.

"Yes, how do I know, from behind like this," Larissa annoyed.

They both pay attention to a polaroid photo that shows a girl and boy in it, both of them are not facing

the camera so that their faces are not clear. Plus the dark light in the photo, made it harder for them to

see.

"This girl must be Starla," muttered Larissa.

"What's the guy, huh?"

"How come I've seen this guy like that? Where is that ...," said Larissa.

Both of them turned when they heard the sound of the door opening, Larissa hurriedly threw the object

under Starla's bed and returned to their respective positions.

"Why are you on?" asked Starla.

"That, Rissa. She wants to take another snack in the refrigerator, she said, I'm angry with her, she's

eaten a lot," said Natasya carelessly.

"Just take it, I'll fill it again later."

Larissa looked at Natasya and rolled her eyes. How clever that girl made up an excuse.

"Eh yeah, btw, I'm really curious about you, Star," said Natasya.

"Curious why?" said Starla.

"From the start, why have you been close to Dewa? Do you like Dewa?"

Starla chuckled, the girl shaking her head. "No."

"Continue?"

Starla shrugged her shoulders. "It's okay. Besides, I have a girlfriend."

Larissa and Natasya looked at each other.
