Skyler saw her walking away and punched the steering wheel while cursing.

“Fuck…”

He grabbed his hair frustratingly.

He couldn’t believe that he really did that to her last night.

Last night when he lifted her shirt up to apply ointment he saw her belly. It was first time he was watching her like that. He never thought that Rosetta would have perfectly fit body, he himself is fitness freak. Skyler caressed her stomach and felt her soft flesh.

His eyes landed on her face and she looked so peaceful, sleeping like an angel. He couldn’t control himself, something in her was pulling him towards her. Skyler has started adoring her smallest things. The way she talks or answer his questions. The way she behaves, everything was attractive.

He picked up his phone and attended the call. Max was calling him out for some work.

Skyler disconnected the call and wore his shirt. He looked at Rosetta who was sleeping peacefully and shook his head.

“No, I can’t let this happen… She needs to stop, whatever she is doing to me. It’s not good…”

He said and walked out of the room.

He promised himself that he will stay away from Rosetta. This marriage is just an agreement. He doesn’t want to get attached to anyone. But he can’t deny the fact that she is making him feel different things and he doesn’t like it. It’s like she is indirectly controlling him. It was frustrating.

Skyler decided to stay away from her as much as possible. That’s why he ignored her in the morning. He thought that may be talking to her rudely will help but it seems like she doesn’t care. She doesn’t care about his behavior towards her.

He sighed and was about to head back home but he saw Rosetta knocking on the window.

He frowned and slide the window down and looked at her questioningly.

“Dad is calling you inside… He said you should come inside otherwise mom will be suspicious…”

She said with straight face. She didn’t want to invite him inside after his rude behavior.

Skyler sighed and nodded. He parked the car and got out. He wanted to deny but there was strong urge to go inside with her.

There was strong desire to hold her hand and show the world that now she belongs to him even if she doesn’t. He was low key proud that Rosetta is going to be his wife. She is strong, smart, has business skills and polite. He couldn’t find anything bad in her may be that’s why he was smitten by her.

She replied coldly and started walking inside.

“How are you now?”

“I told you to come home directly…”

Damian frowned at him, his eyes landed on her neck and he clenched his jaw while glaring at Skyler.

“Meet me in my office”

Rosetta tried to pull back but he held her firmly.

“Next time be grateful when I am trying to be considerate… Otherwise I’ll do things which you won’t like. Next time I won’t hesitate to kiss somewhere else…”

He whispered to her. He didn’t like when she pulled her hand away from him.

Rosetta looked at him with confused face, she couldn’t understand why he is behaving so wierd. Few minutes ago he wasn’t ready to talk normally and now he is threatening to kiss her.
