Salute To The General

Chapter 2695

Chapter 2695

When Nathan and the others stepped out of the meeting room, they were greeted by a fleet of tour buses.

Nelson was not the only one perplexed by the vehicles; Zion and the others were confused as well.

As everyone ruminated about the sight with varying emotions, they boarded the tour buses. Under the escort of the National Guards, they left the White House and headed toward Brimmopolis' city gate tower.

Not long after, they arrived at their destination. Once Nathan and the others alighted the buses, they went up to the city gate tower.

The moment they arrived at the city gate tower and landed their gazes at the square in front of the tower, they gasped. Similar looks of astonishment appeared on their faces.

Before them, troops of soldiers were standing neatly in line at the spacious square.

Each formation had ten thousand soldiers and there were over dozens of formations.

In other words, Zion and the others were looking at several million

soldiers.

The valiant soldiers were all armed, and various armored units were waiting to pass inspection at the main street a distance away.

At that very moment, everyone had wide eyes. As it turned out, Acting President Nathan, who was also the Chief Military Governor, was inspecting the troops that day. Moreover, they only found out about it after heading up the tower.

Right then, Sage jogged over and saluted at Nathan before saying, "President Cross, all troops are ready. We're now waiting for your inspection. Please give us your next command!"

The troops are ready and awaiting inspection?

Nelson's heart skipped a beat as an ominous feeling washed over him. He then turned to look at Nathan in horror and wondered what the man was trying to do.

Nathan then calmly ordered, "Let's start."

Sage cried out, "Yes, sir!"

"Start the inspection!" came the sudden roar from an officer a distance away.

Thud! Thud! Thud!

What came next were the sounds of mighty marching.

Then, a troop of two thousand soldiers marched passed the bottom of the city gate tower.

Although there were only two thousand soldiers in that troop, it was as menacing as a troop of tens of thousands of soldiers.

Anyone could see that the soldiers

were experienced warriors from the determined looks in their eyes, their solemn, expressions, and their thunderous marching steps. They all knew that they were gods of wars who had charged through bloody lands. Content belongs to noveldrama.org

Soldiers who had never experienced the moment of life and death would never have expressions like those soldiers; they would never be able to have a demeanor like those soldiers,

and they would never be abldiers,

to

march in that threatening way either. Content belongs toThis belongs to NôvelDrama.Org - ©.

Not only was Nelson startled by the troop, but Zion and the rest were also pouring the soldiers' praises inwardly.

Sage, who was still standing beside

Nathan, loudly introduced, "The soldiers who are passing by us right now are members of the Felidae Battalion of the Headquarters of the Chief Military Governor. They used to be the North Army's star troops. They've won countless battles in the North, and they've accomplished numerous achievements in battle. It's because of their powerful battle prowess and undying loyalty that the Chief Military Governor has decided to transfer them into the city to take up the roles of defending the Headquarters of the Chief Military Governor." Right then, the soldiers of the Felidae Battalion went past the tower. The leading soldier then cried out,

"Salute!"

Thump!

Two thousands soldiers saluted at Nathan in unison.

Nathan raised his arm and saluted them in return.

Zion and the others could not help but applaud the Felidae Battalion's grand presence.

On the other hand, Nelson had a grim look on his face. He could guess what was going on by then.

As it turned out, what Nathan wanted to show him was the majestic forms of Eurasia's soldiers he wanted Nelson to see how intimidating Eurasia's military was.

After the Felidae Battalion went passed them, eighteen cavalrymen appeared on horseback. They were the legendary Eighteen Riders.

Soon after them was Colin in the command vehicle. He was leading Brimmopolis' Capital Garrison's newly formed troop of two hundred thousand soldiers to head past the city gate tower for Nathan's inspection.

After them was the troop of a hundred thousand soldiers from the East's military led by Elijah.

Then, it was the troop of a hundred thousand soldiers from the West Army led by Lucas.

It was followed by the troop of a hundred thousand soldiers from the North Army led by Fang.

Later, the troop of a hundred thousand soldiers from the South Army led by Zach also went past the tower for the inspections by Nathan and the members of the Great Cab.

Other elite troops in various military regions also appeared in full gear. Zion and the other government officials, who usually worked in offices, found themselves thrilled by the sight.

Unlike them, Nelson was as pale as a sheet.
