Salute To The General

Chapter 2537

Before long, everyone moved to the fighting arena. It was a high-tech space much wider than the wargame room.

What impressed Nathan was that the arena utilized advanced combat simulations.

Both parties had to put on custom-made training suits in order to participate in the ultra-realistic simulation.

Not only could the users get a real sense of an actual battle, but they could also go all out without having to worry about accidentally harming the other party.

With the high-tech system, users could find out once and for all who the better fighter was by fighting to the death in virtual reality.

Even after battling each other with no holds barred, the participant would walk away from the training without so much as a scratch.

Although there were still some minor details of a real fight that the system could not replicate, it did provide its users an opportunity to fight without worrying about each other's safety. After all, the system could do something that no regular sparring practice could, and that was to give fighters a taste of a deathmatch.

At first, Nathan felt uncomfortable wearing the high-tech suit but he slowly got adjusted to it.

Displayed on the inside of his visor was the virtual training ground, where he tried a few military combat moves for his virtual self to mimic and realized how close the simulation was to the real thing.

When Gammon saw that Nathan had gotten the hang of the system, he smiled before asking the others at the scene, "Would anybody like to take on Chief Cross?"

"I'd like to volunteer, President Gammon," voiced a one-starred Watchdog in uniform immediately in response.

Gammon then turned to look in the direction of the voice and realized that it belonged to his most distinguished subordinate, Dante. This belongs © NôvelDra/ma.Org.

Not only was Dante the best among his peers in the army, but he was also known to have killed a large bear with his bare hands.

"Dante's performance in other areas

is mostly average, but if there's one thing he's good at, it's combat. Come, Dante, and don't be shy. Why don't you show the Chief Military Governor of Eurasia here what a rising star like you is capable of?" suggested Gammon after a hearty cackle. "Remember, you're representing all Remdikians, so make sure you do your best! Don't embarrass yourself and your

country."

Gammon was like a god to the citizens of Remdik, for they were convinced that the man was invincible.

Even though Remdik and Eurasia

were close, and Gammon had much respect for Nathan, the proud president wanted to get even since the Chief Military Governor of Eurasia had completely humiliated him and the Remdikian

commanders in the 80

Hence, Gammon deliberately reminded Dante not to embarrass their country further. He had to win this battle at all costs.

Dante was already determined to teach Nathan a lesson, so with the President's reminder, he was even more motivated to do so.

"You have nothing to worry about,

President Gammon. And you too, Your Royal Highness. I'll be sure to give Chief Cross a taste of our

strength and give honor to o

country!" promised Dante by beating his chest confidently.

With the assurance, the Remdikian elders, generals, and soldiers immediately cheered Dante on.

Amused by the Remdikians' optimism, Colin and the Elite Eight exchanged looks. This fool has no idea what he's gotten himself into. Just you wait.
