Salute To The General

Chapter 2535

Soon after getting their ratings, both Nathan and Lazar came out from their rooms alongside their teams.

Everyone in the hall fell silent.

Ultimately, Gammon broke the silence and said, "Chief Cross, you're indeed a God of Eurasia's military forces! You are an amazing strategist! Even Marshal Lazar isn't comparable to you." Gammon was impressed.

With that, he started clapping.

Upon seeing that, everyone present followed suit, and a round of applause erupted.

Lazar felt rather embarrassed to have been beaten by Eurasia's Chief Military Governor in front of his home crowd.

Although he wasn't satisfied, he was too embarrassed to ask for a rematch. If I do that, I'll become a sore loser.

Unlike Lazar, the other marshals were eager to compete against Nathan.

Right then, another famous Marshal from Remdik, Lukin, stepped forward and said, "Eurasia's Chief Military Governor is incredible. I'd like to go up against him."

Gammon didn't oppose the request. It was just a minor battle just now. Besides, the system only gave each camp one armored division. In his mind, he felt the simulation prior to that wasn't enough to showcase Nathan's true capabilities.

Hence, he wanted to see more from Nathan. He glanced at Nathan to see if he was willing to accept Lukin's challenge.

"Oh? Aren't you the famous Marshal Lukin? Since you're willing to entertain me, surely I'll have to learn a trick or two from you!" Nathan smiled. When everyone saw how casually Eurasia's Chief Military Governor accepted the challenge from the famous Lukin, they all started cheering. Nathan and Lukin then brought their subordinates into the red and blue command rooms.

Nathan had chosen the red camp once again while Lukin picked the blue camp.

This time around, they were going to put up a good fight. They were both given three divisions of soldiers each.Property © 2024 N0(v)elDrama.Org.

Besides, they were also given different equipment and weapons.

The circumstances were different compared to the first battle. Instead of only one armored division, they were given three divisions each. Hence, it was a whole new ball game.

Lukin started by skillfully setting up his formations.

As for Nathan, he was still as calm

and collected as before. He

continuously gave out co nět

based on the layout of the

battlefield. Obviously, all of

commands were effective and efficient.

Compared to the battle he was going to have with Lukin, the battle against Lazar was a piece of cake. In fact, the battle against Lukin was truly a mental battle.

In the midst of battle, troops from both sides were constantly moving.

Both camps constantly exchanged fire throughout the game. At one point, multiple troops of theirs were fighting at the same time.

It was indeed a gruesome test for being a commander-in-chief, as one little mistake could decide the outcome of the battle.

The close and exciting matchup between both sides lasted for over two hours.

In the end, Nathan's troops destroyed Lukin's three divisions of soldiers while sacrificing only one-fifth of his own three divisions.

When the battle finally ended, the hall became so quiet that everyone could hear a pin drop.

Even Gammon was utterly stunned

by the outcome. Marshal Lukin is

the country's best

commander-in-chief. He's known all over the world and has won múltiple wars. Who would've thought that he could be defeated by Chief Cross? It

seems like he's one hell of a strategist.

Right then, Nathan and Lukin were seen coming out of their rooms alongside their subordinates.

Lukin's face was pale, and he seemed disoriented. It was as if he'd just lost a real-life war. He didn't treat the simulated war as just a game. Instead, he saw it as a real battle.

In fact, the way he commanded his troops in the simulation was similar to what he did on a daily basis as a commander.

After the defeat, he felt so relieved

because it was just a simulation. If it

was a real war, I would've lost over thirty thousand of my comrades. In real life, I would've just offered my life as a punishment for losing so badly.
