Cross Group finally returned to the way it was.

However, Hailey stuck around.

Nathan and Penny invited her into their private office for a chat.

Nathan smiled and said, "Thank you for your hard work, Hailey."

Hailey smiled. “Don't mention it. I'm just doing my job. Moreover, the Secret Service finally had the chance to prove ourselves for discovering a spy." "Who could have thought that Kendall is a spy?" Nathan replied.

"Kendall is just small fry. Her superior is the real deal."

"Who is it?"

"There's a guy called Sheldon working as a senior intelligence officer for Ariarica. He's in charge of collecting Eurasia's intel and has lived undercover in Eurasia for a long while. He even trained a lot of people to work as his spy. We've known about him for a long time now but couldn't locate him up till now. Who would have thought that he would be exposed thanks to Kendall this time around."

"Did you catch him?"

"He's at Alberesque right now. I already have my eyes on him in case he runs away. However, this guy is a super-soldier and is exceedingly combative. We didn't dare let our officers from Alberesque seize him. Afraid that they are no match for him. I've contacted Brimmopolis headquarters to send the ace of Secret Service over to capture him."

"It's a seven to eight hour flight from Brimmopolis to the South. I'm worried that Sheldon will know that something's up and make his escape once he finds out about Kendall's and Thomson's arrest."

"I'm worried about the same thing too. That's why I want to discuss it with you, Sir. Can you send Colin and Ava over with me to arrest him once and for all?"

Nathan smiled. "How about this? I will come with you and assist you with his arrest since Sheldon is an infamous spy. Take this as my token of appreciation for helping me out."

Ariarica's Project Genesis had created a lot of super-soldiers.

Their combat prowess was top-notch even though they were flawed.

Hailey was overjoyed with Nathan's offer to come with her. She had doubted Colin's and Ava's capabilities to capture Sheldon alive before this. However, there was nothing for her to worry about now that Nathan himself was coming. "Thank you so much, Sir," she exclaimed.

Nathan and Hailey were men of action. Nathan and Colin boarded the helicopter alongside Hailey's men and headed toward Alberesque. After one hour, Nathan, Colin, Hailey, and her officers arrived at an unremarkable villa.

“We've surrounded the area. Sheldon is probably taking a nap right now," said Hailey.

"What are we waiting for then? Let's barge in and arrest him," Nathan replied.

With that, Nathan, Colin, Hailey, and a few aces from the Secret Service made their way toward the villa.

They managed to bypass the alarms installed on the gates with a signal jammer prepared by one of the Secret Service's agents.

He then produced two pieces of wire to pry the locked door open. Click. They had successfully broken into the villa.

He gave Nathan and Hailey an OK gesture and was about to open the door.

However, Nathan quickly grabbed his arm to stop him.

The agent was startled and stared at Nathan in astonishment.

Nathan carefully cracked open the door and saw a grenade attached to a thin thread tied to the door.

The grenade would be triggered and kill the intruder if the Secret Service agent had forced his way in just now.

A sheen of cold sweat formed on everyone's forehead. One of the Secret Service agents produced a pair of scissors and snipped the thread. He then caught the grenade and made his way into the villa.

There was no one on the first floor.

Hence, Nathan and the others quickly made their way upstairs.

Click! A gun cocked just as they reached the door of the master bedroom.

Nathan grabbed Hailey and took cover by the door, whereas Colin moved everyone out of the way.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Someone fired from inside the room, instantly turning the door into shambles.

Luckily for them, Nathan's and Colin's swift response saved everyone.

Sheldon was the one who had fired the shots inside the room.

As a spy, Sheldon was always on high alert even when he was fast asleep, allowing him to detect the intruders.

He picked up two Uzis and started shooting blindly at the door.

After using up all of his bullets, he ran barefooted toward the window in his pajamas and tried to escape.

Just then, Nathan launched himself into the room.

What is this terrifying speed?

Sheldon, who had reached the window, paled and turned around.

Nathan pulled Sheldon into his arms, broke the window, and jumped down from the second floor before Sheldon could even register what was going

on.

Bang!

Sheldon landed on the ground with Nathan right on top of him. Nathan clasped Sheldon's throat with his left hand and rained blows on him with his right hand.

Sheldon's face turned bloodied and battered. The strong and mighty super-soldier lay lifeless on the ground after receiving a good beating from Nathan.

Hailey and her subordinates quickly made their way over. "Spare him. I need to bring him back alive."

Nathan only stopped when Sheldon

could no longer defend himself. He stood up and said, "Don't worry, he's

a super-soldier. This much won't kill him. I'll leave him to you then."

“I've wanted to arrest this b*stard since day one. It's all thanks to you," Hailey said excitedly.
