Richest Mogul 1079

Chapter 1079

With a golf course this large, finding Joe would be difficult.

Her friends sent her a photo along with a location pin. Vera made her way to the designated spot. However, after bustling about for ten minutes, she watched Joe get into a car and dove away.

She immediately waved her arms at him, but Joe either saw her and ignored her or simply didn’t notice.

Her face darkened. “Joe, are you seriously trying to avoid me because you saw me coming? Is it really necessary for us to be like this? If it weren’t for me, you’d still be stuck with Skylar. You’re going to regret this.”

Around 5:00 pm, Natalie happily parted ways with Skylar after shopping for clothes and shoes. She was

headed to Austin’s house.

Skylar then drove home. On the way, Joe called her. “Let’s have dinner together tonight. I’ll send you the address.“.

Following the address, Skylar drove directly to the location. It turned out to be a high–end complex with excellent security.

Joe must have informed the security staff about her arrival, as she had no trouble accessing the underground parking garage. She took the elevator according to the address provided.

Once she reached the floor, it swung open before she even had the chance to ring the doorbell. Joe stood there, holding it open for her. “Come in.”

Skylar looked around before stepping inside.

“This entire floor is mine, and Martin Group built this complex. I’ll be living here from now on, so no one will be able to follow you. You can come over every night,” Joe said straightforwardly.

Skylar slipped on the slippers that fit her perfectly. “Coming here every day might get noticed,” she replied, feeling it was a bit risky.

Joe shrugged it off. “That won’t happen. They’re not brave enough to have anyone tail me. I have my people surrounding me.”

He added, “You’ll be protected too, so don’t worry.”

Skylar chuckled softly. “Alright then. But I’ll go to Beckton with Natalie for a photo shoot in a few days.”

“How long are you going for?” Joe frowned, suspecting Skylar wanted to avoid him.

“Just two days. Her break isn’t that long.”

“That’s fine. I’ll keep you updated on anything happening with Molly during those two days,” Joe said.

Skylar nodded and moved toward the floor–to–ceiling windows with Joe. The tall building offered a stunning view and ample sunlight.

It was dusk. The warm hues of the sunset poured into the room, making the entire place feel vibrant, almost dreamlike.

Suddenly, she remembered something. “I ran into Vera when Natalie and I were shopping today.”

Joe’s expression remained neutral. “What did she say?”

“You can probably guess what she wanted to know, but that’s not the main point. The important thing is Belongs to NôvelDrama.Org - All rights reserved.

that she had a strong sense of impending darkness.

If I’m right, she must have acquired another negative item since losing the ring.” Skylar reflected on her encounter with Vera while gazing at the twilight scenery outside.

Joe nodded. “Molly indeed gave her something.”

Skylar didn’t elaborate further. It was clear that Molly’s every move was under Joe’s scrutiny, so she didn’t need to remind him to stay cautious around Vera.

I’ll avoid meeting Vera. She’s targeting me,” Joe added.

Skylar felt relieved.

She glanced at the time and then toward the kitchen. She asked, “Is there anything in the fridge?” “There is, but you don’t need to cook. Paul will be bringing dinner in about ten minutes,” Joe replied.
