Rejected Luna Queen

Chapter 29

Nesta’s POV

With a newfound spring in my step, I skipped back to the pack house, the excitement and happiness from the day’s events bubbling within me.

The sun was beginning its descent, casting a golden hue over the path as I approached the grand structure that was now my home. I couldn’t stop smiling, the joy from my new friendships and positive experiences at school still fresh in my mind.

I entered the pack house, I nearly bumped into Alpha Luca. He was coming down the stairs, his presence as commanding as ever yet softened by the warm smile that greeted me.

“Well, someone looks happy, he remarked, his eyes twinkling with curiosity. What’s got you in such a good mood. Nesta?”

1 beamed at him, eager to share my news. “I made some new friends at school today! A group of girls approached me and invited me to lunch. They were really nice and seemed to genuinely want to be friends with me

Luca’s smile widened. “That’s wonderful to hear, Nesta in glad you’re selling in well.”

He paused for a mo

a moment, then added, “How about you join me for a late lunch? I’d love to hear more about your day

I nodded eagerly following him to the dining room. The table was already set with an assortment of dishes, and the aroma of freshly cooked food

made my stomach rumble.

As we sat down. Lura began to serve us both, his movements deliberate and graceful

“So,” he started, leaning back in his chair, “tell me more about these new friends of yours”

I recounted the events of the day, from the initial nervousness to the welcoming warmth of Olivia and her friends. Luca listened intently, nodding and smiling at the appropriate moments. When I finished, he looked genuinely pleased.

Im really happy for you. Nesta. Finding good friends can make all the difference”

We continued to eat in companionable silence for a few moments before Luca began to share his own story. “You know, taking over this pack wasn’t easy,” he said, his tone thoughtful.

“My parents were great leaders, but their pussing left a big void. I had to step up at a young age, not just for the pack but also for Elara. She was just a child when they died, and I became her guardian.“

Llivened intently, fascinated by his tale. “That must have been really tough” I said sofily.

“It was he admitted. “But it also made me stronger. Leading the pack while raising Elara taught me a lot about responsibility and sacrifice. We’ve had our struggles, but seeing the pack thrive now makes it all worth it”

His words were inspiring, painting a picture of resilience and dedication. I admired him more for it, recognizing the strength it took to bear such a burden at a young age.

“You’ve done an amazing job, Luca,” [ said sincerely. “Elara and the pack are lucky to have you.”

He gave a modest shrug, but I could see the gratitude in his eyes. “Thank you, Nesta. That means a lot.”

We finished our meal with a sense of camaraderie, sharing more stories and laughter. As we rose to leave, Luca placed a reassuring hand on my

shoulder.

“You’re a part of this pack now, Nesta. If you ever need anything, don’t hesitate to come to me

I nodded, feeling a deep sense of belonging. I will, Luca. Thank you”

Leaving the dining room, I felt lighter, my earlier joy now accompanied by a profound sense of appreciation for the pack and its leader. It was a good day, one that filled me with hope and a renewed determination to embrace my new life.

Later that evening, as I was getting ready to settle down, my phone buzzed with a call from Alpha Luca. I answered, his familiar, authoritative voice alling my car

“Nesta, I have some news for you,” he began, a hint of excitement in his tone

“Oh! What’s that?” I asked, curiosity piqued.

“We’re starting your driving classes next weekend,” he announced, his voice firm and final. “Early morning at eight o’clock sharp.

I hesitated, a mix of apprehension and surprise flooding my thoughts. “Driving classes? But I’ve never even-

“No buts,” he interrupted gently but firmly. “It’s important for you to learn, especially now that you’re getting more settled. It’s a useful skill, and t want you to be independent.”

1 swallowed hard, trying to mask my nervousness. “I’m not sure if I’m ready, Luca.”

He chuckled softly, the sound warm and reassuring. “Everyone feels that way at first, but you’ll get the hang of it. Trust me. There’s no going back now; we’re committed. Besides, I’ll be with you every step of the way.”

His confidence and support were contagious, easing some of my anxiety. “Okay, I guess I don’t have a choice then.“1 said with a small laugh.

“That’s the spirit,” he replied, his tone encouraging “Get a good night’s rest, and we’ll start this new adventure together. You’re going to do great.Exclusive content © by Nô(v)el/Dr/ama.Org.

1 hung up the phone, I couldn’t help but feel a mix of excitement and trepidation. Driving was something I’d never considered before, but with Luca’s support. I felt a bit more confident about the journey ahead.

I mean there are no cars meant for everyone back in the Red Moon Pack. This is really amazing!
