Chapter 9 Idiots?
Chapter 9 Idiots?
“But I hear she is and idiot?” Kiara asked.
“Yes, yes, she was like a child when she was sixteen or seventeen. Daisy made fun of her! Have you
forgotten?” Gracie suddenly got excited.
Angel looked at the beaming Gracie and Kiara and thought of that their family deal with toy business?
With such heirs, the future of her family was a disaster!
“Are you mistaken? Or did you hear it wrong? How can Miss Alexia bring an idiot to a party?” Laura
was confused. Belle has considered this idiot as treasure.
“Yes, how could she take an in idiot out? In all these years, we've never seen the titular girl of the
Duncan family in public, okay? And she doesn't look like an idiot by any means.” Said Betty, who had
just met Angel.
“Yes, isn't it Daisy the eldest Miss Duncan?” Someone joined in the conversation. This is property © NôvelDrama.Org.
“Yeah, even if we went to a party at Duncan’s, we never met Daisy’s stupid sister.”
“Well, didn't you see she was an idiot?” Someone asked Gracie.
“No, I think she is quite normal! The etiquette rules are much better than Daisy, and her temperament is
elegant. My mother boasted her!” Betty said.
Angel's eyes sparkled. Betty was a kind one.
“Well, who is she? Are there any other bastards of Duncan family?” Gracie looked excited.
“Hush, don't talk nonsense. Let’s ask Daisy. She definitely knows about it” Laura said in a serious
manner.
“If that's true, I'd love to see her face! It will be wonderful?” Kiara smiled covering her mouth.
A group of people burst into laughter.
With her lips slightly curved, Angel scooped out a mouthful of mousse and savored it.
.It turned out that these people knew Daisy. It seemed that Daisy often attended such occasions.
Daisy was Miss Duncan, so it was natural for her to attend such occasions.
“Hey, Daisy!”
Immediately after, a voice was sounded, “Why are you crowded here? Laura, you are here.”
Daisy greeted Laura affectionately.
Laura smiled, “Daisy, your dress is really beautiful. Is that one you said booked in France?”
Daisy nodded her head proudly and then said, “You look better in red than any one else.”
Laura was glad to hear that.
Daisy, Angel's half-sister, was just a few months younger.
Angel could not resist giving the curtain a slight lift and peering out.
Daisy was dressed in a pink dress, with a slim figure and her hair pulled up high. Her made up was
delicate.
Angel was surprised that her “sister” was good at dressing up.
“Oh, Daisy is good looking in any dress. And this dress fits your temperament.” Gracie boasted.
“Yes, only Daisy can wear pink!” Kiara echoed.
Angel pressed her lips.
Then her eyes darkened.
In those days of Belle, the person around her should be the same.
She believed other’s words and thought they were nice, but she got cheated.
“Why are you here?” Suddenly someone noticed a girl behind the veil.
The curtain “suddenly” was pulled back.
Behind the curtain was a small beauty sitting on a chair. Frightened, she opened her eyes wide.
“Who are you?” Daisy asked arrogantly, “Why are you hiding here?”
The people behind her, who had seen Angel, looked at each other as if they were enjoying the play.
Angel rose slowly to her feet and moved graceful.
She looked at Daisy as if she was carefully identifying the person in front of her.
Suddenly, the smile spread out on her face, like beautiful ripples on a still lake.
“You're Daisy? Wow, you're so tall. I'm your elder sister, Angel.” Angel's voice was slightly childish, and
her knee-length gown made her look like an innocent teenager of 16 or 17.
But standing in front of her, Daisy, from dress to makeup, all seem to be a mature woman of 27 or 28
years old.
And she said she was Daisy elder sister!
