Our Luna, Our Mate Chapter

Lily's POV
When calling for Rosalyn I knew Brian had instantly regretted his decision to judge me and call me a liar. His eyes telling me everything that I needed to know.
Now who's the idiot, I laugh silently to myself. Loving the fact that I was right and he wasn't.
Smirking slowly, I move to introduce them to one another. "Rosalyn meet Brian. Brian meet Rosalyn. My Witch. The one from the Shadowmoon Coven."
Watching Rosalyn's face at the mention of her Coven I knew I was doing a lot to her, for we were once good friends and at one time she would have been my ride or die. Now, I hold her Coven as my slaves. Ensuring me that they listen to every word I say as I keep a small handful of Rogues there to handle them.
Making sure that they stay in line or face death. My Rogues being allowed to murder them if they don't comply. For I don't have time nor the patience for a Witch who simply won't listen to me or a single word I say to them.
"Now then, you were saying?" I ask, my eyes now shifting over to Brian's his face still showing all I needed to know. "No? Good. Let that be a warning for not believing in me when I I have a Witch at my disposal." Laughing softly, I continue to enjoy the scene unfold between Brian and Rosalyn, neither saying a word to one another made it all the more fun. This is just too perfect, I muse, my eyes still trained on the both of them. Brian's POV
The moment Lily had summoned her I knew there was instant regret upon my face for I had seen this Witch before. A couple of times actually as she would often help Diana in escaping the house during the late hours of the night.
Of course, at the time I didn't bother to care as I was too focused on Athena at the time to truly notice and as far as Diana was concerned all she had to do was shift blame over to Athena and our parents were all about her and not on what Diana was doing, giving Diana the freedom she needed to persue Jacob, my friend and future Alpha of the pack.
When thinking of Jacob I frown. Knowing Diana had a hand in his rejection to Athena. Because when we were little, Jacob had once confided in me and had told me that he had secretly wished that Athena and he were mates once they had gotten older. A thought that made me laugh at because Athena would never be good enough for him so as we got older I made it my mission to make Jacob into the next big playboy.
And of course at one time it worked. Jacob was so far captivated by other she-wolves that he had totally forgotten about Athena, that was until one night before her 17th Birthday. Jacob had accidentally seen her and all of his feelings for her had returned. Not liking what I was seeing I had made the mistake telling someone in which had gotten back to Diana.
Then, needless to say, Diana was not happy in the least bit. Storming off, Diana went to do what she did best and that was scheme with her best friends. She was never seen afterwards until the next day when she was all over Jacob.
Odd, I mused, curious about the sudden shift between them but decided to leave it well alone because it was Diana, my sister and I knew better than to interfer with her plans.
But on the night of the Mating Ball, Jacob had suddenly become possessive of Athena. Possessive infront of every single pack that had come in search of a mate. Raving about how Athena was his and only his, making the twins angry. Almost as if Koga was the one in charge and not Jacob for he was at the ball with Diana and Diana only.
Watching the scene unfold before me, I instantly began to put the pieces together. Diana, Rosalyn, Jacob. Diana having made a deal with
the Witch who now stood before me had somehow found a way to tie Jacob to her and only her, making her instant Luna in her eyes. As it was also another reason why Jacob had rejected her and why everytime Jacob had seen Athena, Koga would instantly react to her, because all Koga had wanted was his true mate, the one that the Moon Goddess had given him only for her to be taken away by someone else.
Snorting at the notion, I move to turn towards the Witch. "You. I knew you looked familiar to me. You once helped my sister with some kind of enchantment to turn the future Alpha against his mate and tie him to my sister."
At the mention of Jacob and Diana, I can't help but notice the Witch wince in discomfort.
"I did. And it's something I'm not exactly proud of either. For a mate bond is sacred among many and had I'd know she was going to ruin a bond like that I would have never agreed to help her or given her the enchantment to begin with" murmurs Rosalyn, her eyes showing
regret.
"Why you little home wrecker. I knew you were up to something that night I came to you. I knew you weren't totally innocent" replies Lily
to her friend. Another wince rising as she did.
"Lily you know how much I cherish a mate bond. You know all the Witches do, including those of Dragons, Vampires and Fae. Wolves including. It's why we have them and those who don't follow the laws of the mate bond lose there chances at having another." replies Rosalyn, an amused look now on my own face as I watch the scene unfold before me.
'Looks like someone's about to be punished for back talking' chuckles Dius. My Wolf not caring about the Witch for we already knew we would never see our mate, the Moon Goddess having already decided our fate since the night of the Mating Ball. 'Agreed' I move to say to Dius, enjoying the show between Wolf and Witch.
"Did you... Did you just talk back to me?" growls Lily, her anger rising as she moves to approach the Witch, her claws now out.
"N-No..." stutters the Witch, fear evident in her voice as Lily moves to draw closer. Her eyes closing in fear as her once closest friend claws her against the side of her face, blood now oozing from the mark along her cheek as she gasps in pain. Lily shoving her to the ground as she claws her again, this time across the front of her chest, ripping the once beautiful top as her hands move to her neck.
"LIAR! You know how much I hate liars. Not to mention those who won't even admit to something as simple as an enchantment. I ought to kill you and murder your whole Coven but I need you" roars Lily as she claws her friends beautiful skin, long angry claw marks now making themselves known as she cries in pain.
For one thing to know about a Witch was that they had the in ability to heal like a Wolf which meant that if they were hurt or injured they had to heal the old fashion way or with the help of Fae's healing magic for Witches didn't specialize in white magic, no, they specialized in dark magic such as enchantments, curses, potions and on occasions hex's. Only select few ever dabbled in white magic and if they did it was because they chose to become healers.
"Enough Lily. I think she's learned her place now don't you?" I say, not wanting to see a Witch become murdered near pack boarders. As I didn't need it coming back to me or my family for dealing with a Witch Growling, Lily moves to look at her, her eyes narrowing as she did. "Out of my site. NOW!"NôvelDrama.Org: owner of this content.
Not one to be told twice does Rosalyn move to run away or more like teleport away. The need to treat her wounds evident. So once gone from sight do I move to speak again. "Harsh much?" "NO! Because I don't have time for liars or traitors" growls Lily, her eyes now on mine.
"Like wise... Now are we done? Or do we still need to talk about Athena? Because I need to talk to Shane and David so that we can plan our next steps" I ask, the need to talk to them and Diana evident.
"Yeah, were done. I have a Coven to deal with. But be ready. Come the next full moon we strike" was all Lily says before turning and walking away from me.
"Don't worry, we'll be ready. And when we do Athena won't know what hit her" I whisper before moving to turn and head back towards
Sun, Dec 1
Moon Walker. The need to talk to Diana urgent before moving to find David and Shane.
