Omega Princess

Epilogue

Beep.... Beep.... Beep....

We are back, I thought to Sasha.

"We are," she said. "Will you be OK?"

"I think I will be at peace," I told her.

I could feel a hand in mine, and I squeezed it. I slowly opened my eyes to the bright hospital room.

"You're awake." Vincen cried out and collapsed on me in a hug.

"I am. How long was it this time?" I asked.

"You have been in a coma for two months." he sounded tired as he spoke. "You died."

A tear fell from his face. I wiped it away. "I did. It was peaceful but not my time."

"You came back to me. That is all that matters," he said, wrapping me in another hug.

"I hope so," I said. "I linked Katie and Millie to gather everyone who was still there. I only wanted to tell this story once."

Vincent told me all about what had happened when I was in my coma. Cole and Alex had originally joined us at Violet Moon to watch over us, but they had returned to their packs. Drake and Reagan had left for their home as well. Drake promised she would visit. Eric and Cora had stayed, and Eric took over his spot as Gamma again. Cora seemed to fit in well with the pack.

The twins were constantly being looked after by grandmas or Millie. Everyone that remained went to the hospital. I even made Dr. Rosenbaum waited till everyone arrived. He said it was a miracle that I was alive. I just smiled sweetly at him. It wasn't a miracle as much as blackmail, I thought.

I held my babies in my arms and hugged my girls when they came in. The final group was Eric and Cora. They looked happy. Maybe she didn't like all the power the royals demand of her. Power does not equal peace and, in my experience, it almost always has a high

cost.

I smiled at them and began. "I know you are all surprised to see me alive and awake. I can tell you I did die." Katie cried a bit and others just looked at me. I started again, "I had the option to choose the last path or stay in a limbo like peace forever." "She let you come back?" Cora asked.

"I assume you mean Selene and yes, she did. It came with a price. She thought my powers were too strong, so I needed to choose my magic or my wolf."

Vincent had a deep inhale next to me. "I chose Sasha," I continued. "I am not sure what that will all mean for my future, but I could not give up the link with Sasha and Marcus or the pack. You are my family."

"Can we call Cole?" Cora asked. "I have a suspicion I want to confirm."

"I guess," I said, looking at her suspiciously.

She took out her phone and dialed. "Cole hey, Fillian woke up. We are here with her. Can I put you on speaker?"

"Fillian, how do you feel?" He asked.

"I feel like I am a cat with nine lives." I responded and he laughed.

"Cole, are you near your office?" Cora asked.

"Yes, why?" he responded.

"I want you to open the book of Royals," she waited a bit. "Is Fillian still in it?"

"Yes why?" he asked.

Cora turned towards me. "Fillian, try to link Alex."

"I can't link Alex, he isn't part of my pack unless I missed that?" I said, looking at Vincent. He shook his head.

"Just humor me," she said.

"Ok," I replied.

I opened my mind and started to think of Alex reaching out to him. "Alex?" I thought.

"Fillian? Did you die? Are you haunting me?" he asked.

I opened my eyes and looked at Cora. "No, I am alive and awake." I responded to Alex.

"I am sorry for Amanda," I said.

"I know," he said. "Maybe next time use the phone."

"Deal," I said, closing the link.

"How did you know?" I asked Cora.

"I just guessed." She responded. "All royals have power. I figured since your strength was mind control, it was also your power."

"Thank you," I said. "It wasn't like when I could feel the magic in me but it is nice to know."

"What happened?" Cole said on the phone.

"Fillian didn't lose all her power, just her magic over the elements," Cora said.

"Cool. She can still work as our ally." He laughed.

"I will see you soon." I said and Cora hung up.

"Alright, the party is over. Fillian needs her rest." Dr. Rosenbaum said. I was still holding Violet. She reached out to me and touched my cheek. I felt a surge of energy. "Actually doc. I think I feel all better." I looked down at my daughter. Closed my eyes and sent up a little prayer.

"Thank you, Selene." I prayed. My daughter's power was healing.

"Are you sure?" Vincent asked.Exclusive content from NôvelDrama.Org.

"Yes, we also need to talk about our royal children and their powers." I smiled at him. "But for now I just want to go home. I want to enjoy this peace when we have it."

"I agree with that." Vincent started to help me up and Millie took Violet, smiling at me.

"I am glad you are better." She said as she bounced Violet on her hip.

"Me too. I could not imagine any life or afterlife being better than the family I found. We may not all be blood, but we are all a family and a pack." I spoke.

I was finally at peace. We spent the rest of the day with the kids just catching up. At night I thought we should give Sasha and Marcus some time together. Vincent was happy to oblige.

This was my final peace. Nothing could beat this. I know we will have some changes in the future. Millie and her Alpha crush, Katie's leaving at 16, and who knew what the twins would bring? I didn't care about any of it, I wanted to live in the now and cherish every moment I had with them.
