William guessed that the family of three was about to head out, so he didn't linger for long.
It was also a way of protecting himself, as seeing Linda's family so happy made his heart ache.
Linda went upstairs to look for Lex. She found her to be asleep inside the bubble ball. She struggled to get Lexi out of the ball carefully.
The bubble ball was something Lex had insisted on. She first asked Linda and Samson for it before eventually persuading her grandparents to get it.
Unda was reluctant to get the bubble ball because it would be difficult to get Lexi out once she was inside. And it was evidentnow.
