He drove off immediately to the house in full speed not minding the blaring of horns he could hear .

He drove into house and parked at his designated car park ..

He hurried in to the house .

He wondered why he was this worried over a girl he doesn’t even like or could it be he likes her .

Nah he doesn’t like her .

He rushed up the stairs and heard the sound of hip hop playing in the room making him wonder if there was a party to mark her demise .

He opened the door and found Quinn dancing to some hip hop music and scoffed .

Quinn on hearing his voice tuned down the music volume and looked at her brother who looked like he ran from the office down here .

Here is the guy who said he doesn’t like Lucia .

Such a joke .

” Quinn what happened to Lucia ” Lucien asked trying not to sound too worried although his heart was beating.

” Nothing ..” she said and giggled that made Lucien brew with anger .

“What do you mean by nothing ” Lucien asked looking keenly at her and a lot of things going on in his head .

” Well my flight would soon be ready , I needed you to take me to the airport . I don’t want Lucia meeting me here if she returns, she is going to tear up badly ” Quinn said making Lucien feel like splitting her into four.

” Why couldn’t you just tell me the truth why you called ” he asked angrily .

“Well I couldn’t tell you because I knew you wouldn’t rush down here” qQuinn said

“So telling me that Lucia is is unsafe would bring me down here faster faster “Lucien said.

” Absolutely as I can see, it took you just 10 minutes to get down from the office ” Quinn said smiling sheepishly .

” I wish I could just kill you ” Lucian said .

” Well before killing me, just take me to the airport ” Quinn said laughing hard .

At the hospital

AT THE HOSPITAL

” How do you feel now Mr Derick ” the nurse on duty asked

” I feel better, much more better than during the accident Derek said with a weak smile

” I’m happy to hear that I will just tell that to the doctor make sure you take enough fruits ” The nurse said .

Immediately the door opened and Thelma walked inside holding a bag containing fruits.

The nurse immediately left the ward and Derick smiled at her.

He has been enjoying her company since she had been in the hospital and he was more than grateful to Lucien for sending her over .

” So what did the nurse say about your condition now ” Thelma asked sitting by the side of the bed .

” Well she said I’m much better now. She also said I need to take fruit ” Derek said .

” Well thank God I got you some fruits whild coming ” Thelma said bringing out the fruit from the bag.

” Oh thank you very much you have been so kind to me ” Derek said happily .

” Well my boss is kind to me so … I have to be kind to my boss’s friend ” Thelma said slicing the pineapples .

” Well all I can say is thank you again you have a a beautiful heart ” Derek said making her blush which she quickly hid .

” Thank you for the nice words sir Derick. ” Thelma said making Derek frown deeply .

” I already told you to stop calling me sir . You are like my friend now ” Derek said making Thelma sigh in defeat.

She doesn’t know how she would start calling him by his name .

” Well I will try so yeah I have some fruits . ” She said feeding him since his hands were bandaged due to the accident .

Derek always relished her feeding him because he always has a very weird feeling and this feeling was good to his hormones .

Crazy right but that’s how he feels.

After taking a few more from her he shook his head signifying he was filled up.

” Come on you have to take some more , I still have more in the bag ” Thelma said trying to push it in his mouth .

Derick drew her closer making the fruit fall off on the bed and she fell on him .

He winced a bit before adjusting .

Derick and Thelma stared at each other and Thelma’s heart gave a thud on each occasion and before you knew it , Derick slammed his lips on hers engaging her in a frenzy kiss .

Lucia strolled into the compound , anxious to tell Quinn about her first day of work .

She knew Lucien won’t be around now and she would be free now to talk .

His car wasn’t in the garage anyway.

She walked into the sitting room and met a still house .

Seems Thelma is still at the hospital and Quinn should be in her room .

She rushed up the stairs and opened Quinn’s door and it was all empty .

Her suitcases were no longer by the side of the bed .

Neither her cream , deodorant and all on her vanity .

Where could she be ” Lucia thought.

She saw a piece of paper on the table and a pen held it .

Her eyes glistened with tears as she read it.

Quinn was going back .

This house just became a night mare for her .

She wished she could go with her than stay here with the mean brother .

She was all on her own .

She smiled when she remembered that Quinn had not taken her credit card neither her phone..

Such a sweet soul..
