Chapter 64_ Not fair!
Amelia bit down her lower lip, she was gradually turning red by the minutes. “This is not fair! you hid your true identity which is against the rules”
Liam relaxed on his seat “You think I’m unfair? well if you can go on blind dates even though you are married that makes us even”
Amelia stood up from her seat feigning anger “Fine then enjoy your date alone!”
“what? you can’t just leave now! I arrived just in time for our date and you can’t go until we are done”.
Amelia grabbed her purse from the table “Watch me leave then hmp!”
Liam nodded his head in agreement, if she wants to leave then so be it!
Amelia walked towards the door and tried to open it, she pushed it a few more times before she realized that it was locked.
Liam rolled the keys on his index finger at the same time whistling.
She turned back to him “You locked the door!”
Liam shrugged before walking towards her, when he was close enough to her his hands went around her waist pulling her closer to him.
“How will you leave now? you booked the whole restaurant while I shut it down for the rest of today which means neither of us will leave here until I give an order”.
Amelia didn’t want to let him win, she loves winning, infact winning was her obsession and now she must have the final laugh.
She touched Liam’s hand around her waist while making small movement on it with her finger. “Well you see Mr Arrogant, you closed the restaurant but who would save you from my clutches?”
Liam smirked at her words even though he failed to understand what she meant by that.
“I don’t need any saving, I’d rather be stuck here than anywhere else”.
Amelia’s cheeks flushed by his cheesy words that she instantly forgot what she planned on doing to him.
Liam raised her face towards him with his finger “So do you realize now that you are definitely not leaving here as long as I have the keys?”.
“I guess I give up then” she smiled which bothered Liam, he knew she was up to something.
“I hope you aren’t plotting against me because it will definitely fail”
Amelia nodded while Liam dropped his arm slowly from her waist. He led her back to the table. He sat back down on his seat nonchalantly while she remained standing.
“What a true gentleman you are!” she sarcastically stated drawing out a seat for herself.
Since he wouldn’t let her out she would make sure to torture him so much, she needed to be on set in the next forty minutes.
Liam cleared his throat “You wanted to know why i got engaged to Allison”
Amelia’s ears stood on end as she listened carefully to him. “Wow Liam! wow” she clapped her hands. “You address her by her name every single time while you call me whatever comes to your mind, it looks like the both of you have been bonding well together behind my back”.
Liam was caught off guard by her words attack “Do you really have to show your jealous side now? I’ll get back to why I don’t address you by your name but for now I need you to listen carefully to me”
“Fine let’s talk about little miss Allison!” She said while bunny quoting it..
..
Fred paced around the room, his sister was already getting out of hand. “Fred you have to do something about your sister she is always talking about ending her life” Mrs Williams said touching Fred’s arm slightly.Text © owned by NôvelDrama.Org.
Fred was worried not because he couldn’t give his sister all that she wanted but because of the other lady.
That actress posed as a threat to Allison, from the way she spoke today made him realize that she is really ready to fight for Liam.
She didn’t seem like someone who is scared of anyone not even old Grayson, gosh some character!
“Mum! I’m trying my best here okay, I really didn’t know that Liam Grayson was already married if I had known then….
“You would have set me up with another guy?”
The mother and son duo snapped their head to the door.
“Allison I meant that……
“I don’t want to hear anything from you big bro”
Fred sighed walking towards her “Listen Allison, I met Amelia Hart today and she was really one fierce lady I understand how you feel but….
“You won’t be able to help me? you all know how I’ve been dreaming to get married to Liam I even left my studies just to make my dreams come true and you aren’t willing to help me?
Mrs Williams rolled her eyes at her daughter’s emotional blackmail, she wondered when Fred will realize that Allison was really a spoilt brat.
“Ally that’s not what I meant, if you really want Liam then I’ll make sure that he will be yours” Fred promised pulling into a warm embrace.
Fred stroke her hair gently, he has never gone back on his words when it came to his sister’s happiness and demands so Amelia and Liam should get ready..
..
Louisa glanced at the wall clock in front of her, it was lunch time already but she still had a lot to do.
Dylan watched her movement for a while contemplating whether to invite her for lunch or not.
Luck smiled on him when he saw her leaving, he stood up immediately and went out of his office.
“Louisa”
Lou looked up to him with a raised brow “Yes boss”
Dylan’s face scrunched hearing her address him as ‘boss’ he had corrected her several times but she just have a mind of her own.
“We are leaving for lunch some clients are coming over for a business deal”.
Louisa nodded before clearing her table, she noticed he was still standing behind her. “Ummm why don’t you go I’ll meet you down”.
“Okay great!” Dylan simply said walking away..
..
Amelia bumped her head on the headrest after her car came to an abrupt halt. “I’m sorry ma’am”
“Why did you stop?”
“Ma’am some cars are blocking the way!”
Amelia cursed and got out of the car, the guards who were tailing after her car also came out to know what caused the abrupt stop.
The drivers from the cars blocking the way came down also.
Amelia’s eyes blazed when she saw the person who dared to halt her movement.
Fred smirked before sitting on his car bonnet “Well actress we meet again!”
Amelia’s guards were ready to charge but were dismissed by her. She took bold steps towards him. “Move your car out of the way joker”.
Fred jumped down from his sitting position and took a step forward to her but surprisingly she didn’t move back an inch.
