My Husband Wants Me Dead (Esther and Bradley)

Chapter 908

Chapter 908

Logan glanced at Jasper briefly before uttering a simple, "Sure. Esther, I'll step out for a bit."

Esther had seen Jasper at her engagement party before, so she didn't intervene, seeing Logan and

Jasper together without animosity.

"Alright."

Logan led Jasper to the rooftop of the hospital building. Content property of NôvelDra/ma.Org.

The night was dark. From afar, the streets were bustling with traffic.

Logan and Jasper stood silently on the rooftop, gazing at the distant sky. The city lights were too

dazzling, obscuring the stars' radiance.

"Mr. Foster, I heard from Mr. Sinclair that you know everything," Jasper commented.

Logan hummed indifferently.

"Have you ever loved someone..." Jasper paused halfway. "I hope she's happy. As long as she's happy,

I'm willing to do anything."

Jasper asked, "How much do you know about Bradley?"

"Bradley is my love rival. But as for how much I know about him, I can only say he's a man with

extreme possessiveness. Beyond that, I'd rather not say." Jasper smiled with a sense of loss. "Mr.

Foster, I came here today hoping that you'll protect her well."

"Mr. Searle, which 'her' do you think is better?"

"Of course, it's the present her. In fact, the her from back then would be like the person you see today

—beautiful and radiant, like the brightest star in the night sky if she hadn't fallen for Bradley," Jasper

expressed with a smile.

Logan remained silent. So did Jasper. Sometimes, few words were needed between men.

Jasper believed Logan could understand him.

The cold wind brushed against their handsome faces as they stood silently, gazing into the distance.

Back in the hospital room.

Esther glanced at the gift Jasper had brought.

Curious, she checked Jasper's background online. His online presence was high in profile, and he had

a group of fans for being romantic and wealthy. He was depicted as actively involved in charity, a

devout believer, and often seen wearing a rosary.

Esther zoomed in on the photo of Jasper's wrist, noticing the unusual background of the rosary. She

flipped through his news articles.

Just then, Logan returned.

"What are you looking at?" he asked.

"I'm looking at Jasper's information. Logan, do you think there's really such a perfect man in this

world?" Esther questioned.

"Why do you ask?"

Esther handed Logan Jasper's photo. "I was just thinking, what is love?"

Logan glanced coldly at Jasper's photo and asked, "Do you have nothing to do?"

"Yeah, a bit bored."

Logan handed over a compressed file to Esther. "These are the relevant materials for the case we're

investigating. Take a look."

"Can I?" Esther exclaimed.

"Yeah."

Esther opened the compressed file excitedly, scrolling through the documents page by page. These

were the core materials of the case, which Logan hadn't allowed her to access before. This was her

first encounter with these documents, revealing the darkest side of human nature.
