My Husband Wants Me Dead (Esther and Bradley)

Chapter 865

Chapter 865

Agatha grasped the necessity of Logan's work, so she agreed without probing too deeply.

"And you?"

Logan clarified, "Esther and I will pretend to be engaged for a while."

"Understood."

Agatha refrained from questioning whether Logan knew Esther's true identity. For her, Esther was the

best choice. No law prohibited her from remarrying after divorcing Bradley.

Additionally, Logan was someone she had seen growing up. She would be delighted if Logan and

Esther ended up together. However, if Esther opted to remain unmarried, Agatha wouldn't object.

Esther's happiness was paramount, whether in marriage or otherwise. Please check at N/ôvel(D)rama.Org.

"So, when do we depart?"

"Now."

Logan assisted Esther and Agatha in loading the luggage into the car.

Before arriving at Agatha's place, Logan and Esther roughly coordinated their background story—

Logan had been captivated by Esther at first sight during his visit to Agatha. Guided by Agatha's

matchmaking, they attempted to get along.

Both Logan and Esther, being highly intelligent, could adeptly field questions from various members of

the Fosters.

While Logan, Agatha, and Esther flew back to the country on a private jet, Bradley anxiously awaited at

the Sanderson castle.

Guests were guests. Although Xara wasn't eager to attend to such a guest, there was no reason to turn

away or ignore him.

Fortunately, the Sandersons had numerous attendants, and Xara only needed to instruct the butler,

who would attend to Bradley appropriately.

Aware he wasn't welcome, Bradley lingered. He desired to discover the person who had driven the car

away.

Xara paid little attention to Bradley. Even if he encountered Esther, given Esther's current

temperament, she wouldn't entertain Bradley. As long as Esther didn't suffer, Xara was fine with

Bradley staying a few more days there.

"Madam, the car has returned—"

Before the butler finished speaking, Bradley rushed out. His heart pounded wildly as he hurried to the

front of the black SUV.

A beautiful young woman alighted from the black SUV, paying no attention to Bradley. She went directly

to Xara, handing over the car keys. "Mrs. Sanderson, here are the car keys."

Although Xara didn't understand why an unfamiliar woman had returned the car, she accepted the keys

and asked gently, "Aren't you continuing to drive it?"

"Not for now."

When Xara realized the person returning the car wasn't Esther, she breathed a sigh of relief. She had

been genuinely worried that Esther might return herself. Just in case Bradley went berserk, Xara, being

pregnant, wouldn't be able to restrain him.

"I'll have the driver send you back," Xara said.

"Thank you, Mrs. Sanderson."

Xara instructed the butler, who arranged for the driver to escort the woman.

Bradley stood beside the black SUV, gazing at it for a prolonged moment. After a while, he walked to

the front of the black SUV again, staring at it from a distance for a considerable time.

He didn't know how long he had been looking, so long that he returned to reality from the beautiful

illusion. He had witnessed Esther's car plummeting off the cliff and had seen it consumed by flames.
