Rex chuckled and said, "Alright, I'm full. I'll head to the company now. You two can continue your chat. I
won't disturb you."
"Go on then!" Sienna said without hesitation.
Rex left, and before they walked out, the two of them couldn't help but share a kiss. Camille couldn't
help but smile as she watched them. Their relationship was truly remarkable.
Although her relationship with Ayan was also good, seeing Sienna, her best friend, still in a state of
love even after remarrying, genuinely made Camille happy from the bottom of her heart.
Soon, the sound of a car engine could be heard from outside. It was Rex leaving the villa.
Sienna then turned to Camille and asked, "So, w hat's the matter?"
After all, Camille had personally come to her house early in the morning, so there must be something
important. Even if it was just going to work together, she would have called ahead.
Sienna thought this way and put down her utensils, wiping her mouth and hands.
Then she turned around to face Camille.
Camille calmly said, "Where's your phone?"
Sienna looked around herself and replied, "I think it's in the room. Did you call me?"
"Yes, I did. You didn't respond, so I got worried. That's why I came to your house on my own initiative."
"Are you afraid that Rex might have killed me?" She didn't mind saying such things at all, and a
mischievous smile hung on her face.
Camille couldn't help but roll her eyes and said indifferently, "Yes, I was afraid that you might have been
killed. That's why I came specifically."
"Next time, just call the police. Otherwise, if you come by yourself, I'll worry."
"Shut up. You're not good at talking." Camille's face had changed from indifference to coldness.
Sienna laughed, asking, "What's wrong? What's the matter?"
Camille suppressed her emotions on her face and said calmly, "Mario has returned to Flento City."
"When?" Sienna's expression also stiffened, and she instinctively asked.
Camille said he took the morning flight today and then said, "Do you know why he went back?"
"I don't know." Sienna shook her head lightly. Her expression turned somewhat cold, and her eyebrows
furrowed slightly. She said, "Why did he suddenly return to Flento City? Did something happen?"
"I found it strange, so I asked you. After all, you know him well. He called me just yesterday, and that
call was probably an attempt to use me. But I didn't follow his lead at all. Could it be that he felt the
project was delayed and decided it wasn't worth staying in Hance City anymore?"
"That shouldn't be it." Sienna shook her head gently and said, "Let me call my mom and ask! Maybe he
went back to send my mom off."
"No, Kian said there were only him and his secretary."
Sienna blinked and smiled faintly, "Mr. Simpson has been keeping an eye on him all along?"
"Of course, it's natural. After all, he suddenly came to Hance City to develop and because of you. Rex
probably discussed it with Ayan, so Ayan has had people watching Mario all along." Camille had no
intention of hiding anything from Sienna. Instead, she asked with some concern, "You should ask and
find out what's going on. Maybe we're just thinking too much. Ayan also had Kian try to probe Mario,
but it might take some time!"
Sienna nodded and asked Camille to sit for a while as she went upstairs to get her phone and change
clothes.
After about twenty minutes, Sienna came back downstairs.
Naturally, she saw Camille's message. Her circle in Hance City was small, so she didn't have many
friends or much information. She had already changed all her previous accounts and didn't want to
have too much contact or knowledge about people from her past circle, as most of them were
associated with the King family.
After coming downstairs, Sienna sat beside Camille and dialed Mrs. King's phone number.
At this time, Mrs. King was already awake, as her routine was very normal.
The call connected quickly, and Mrs. King's voice immediately came from the other end, "Sienna? Are
you up so early?"
Sienna quickly replied, "Yes, I just had breakfast. Have you eaten?"
"I have too. I'm planning to go out for a walk." Mrs. King said, indicating that she wasn't leaving Hance
City with Mario. She continued chatting with Sienna about her plans to go shopping later, mentioning
how fresh the fruits she bought last time tasted.
Sienna quickly offered, "I'll buy some for you and bring them over later. It's a bit far from there, and it's
not convenient for you to take a taxi."
"Wouldn't that be too much trouble for you?" Mrs. King asked.
Sienna immediately said, "Of course not." She pursed her lips, took a silent breath, and then said softly,
"Mom, actually, I have something I want to ask you."
Mrs. King asked, "What is it?"
Sienna made up a random excuse and brought up the topic of Mario. She mentioned that there had
been a slight issue with his project in Hance City recently, and then she said, "Since he's been in
Hance City recently, I plan to go to Flento City to deal with some wedding matters. Can you keep an
eye on him for me? If he shows any intention of returning to Flento City, I'll come back to Hance City
immediately, okay?"
Mrs. King fell into a brief silence while listening. In fact, Sienna was about to directly ask if Mario had
returned to Flento City, but she felt it was inappropriate to say it that way.
Because it would expose the fact that someone has been keeping an eye on Mario from their side.
Even though it wouldn't harm Mario, Mrs. King would definitely not approve, and it might imply
something to Mario, which wouldn't be good.
So Sienna changed her reasons and approach to ask, not wanting Mrs. King to know that she already
knew Mario had left Hance City.
After listening, Mrs. King didn't think much about it. She thought carefully about what Mario had said
and then said, "If you really must go to Flento City, it seems like there's no other choice." NôvelDrama.Org owns all © content.
"Thank you for understanding, Mom. Can I leave today or tomorrow?" Sienna asked.
"Sure," Mrs. King agreed directly.
Sienna and Camille exchanged glances, both realizing that Mrs. King was unaware of Mario leaving
Hance City.
Sienna narrowed her eyes slightly and said, "Please keep an eye on my brother's movements at all
times, Mom. Let me know immediately if anything happens."
Mrs. King agreed, and then Sienna mentioned that she would send fruits over later before ending the
call.
Sienna put down her phone, her gaze somewhat vacant as she looked at Camille and asked, "Did
Ayan's people make a mistake?"
Based on Mrs. King's attention to Mario, it was entirely possible that Mrs. King had no idea about Mario
leaving Hance City. But why would Mrs. King deceive them and collude with Mario? That seemed
unlikely, as Mrs. King would prefer to never see Mario again.
The more Sienna thought about it, the more confused she became.
Camille was also puzzled but immediately informed Ayan about the situation. After learning about it,
Ayan sent a photo of Mario leaving – a shot taken by the person monitoring him at the airport. It was
unlikely for him to get on the plane and then get off again. Why would they go through all this trouble
just to confuse them? What was the purpose?
Neither of them could make sense of it, but all the presented facts indicated that Mario had indeed
returned to Flento City. The plane hadn't landed yet, but Ayan had already arranged for someone to
wait at the Flento City airport. If they saw Mario, they would definitely take photos.
Sienna and Camille were both dealing with this intense and challenging situation early in the morning,
and honestly, they both had headaches from it.
They didn't know what Mario was up to and couldn't be bothered to investigate further. They entrusted
it to Ayan to handle. As for themselves, they went out to buy fruits for Mrs. King.
They drove to Mrs. King's place and Mrs. King seemed to be in a good mood. She was very happy to
see Sienna and Camille coming together.
She even chatted with Camille for a while. After resting in the hotel room for a bit, Mrs. King didn't insist
on keeping them and let them go since they had work to handle.
Before leaving, Mrs. King said, "I wonder what your brother is up to? I just went to knock on his door,
but no one answered. I was thinking of having lunch together. It's been a few days since I've had a
meal with him. He's so busy, I don't see him at all during the day."
