Chapter 51 Accident
Chapter 51 Accident
Considering the security of them, Sean contacted the management of the ski resort in private and took the VIP channel.
In addition to skiing, there were so many snow games. Although they were not completely open to the public, there were still a lot of people.
Sean was not interested in this, so he sat in the lounge area alone and smoked.
Looking out through the floor-to-ceiling window, the snow scene outside was unobstructed.
Silhouettes of people wearing ski suits on the hillside not far away were galloping down, laughing and screaming.
A girl in a yellow ski suit caught Sean's attention in the crowd.
She was skiing down from the highest point, with a graceful posture and rapid speed. The man in the red ski suit who followed her rolled down the hill, making the girl look back and laugh frequently.
A brown woolen hat on the girl's head, with white rabbit fur earmuffs, her thick long hair was not tied up. She was flying in the snow with the rapid decline speed. Although a pair of ink-colored glasses covered her small face, the confident expression on her face still came out easily with the laughter.
Sean couldn't look away. Unknowingly, the girl's appearance gradually overlapped with the Emma in his mind. Sean forced himself to retract his gaze. After taking a deep breath, he stretched out his finger to press his forehead...
Rowling and Julia, wearing ski boots, came awkwardly and stopped in front of him.
Rowling wiped the sweat from her forehead with a tissue, took a sip of the mineral water in front of her, and extended her thumb to praise Julia.
Julia was indeed good at skating. She was born in the north, and she was familiar with this kind of sports.
Rowling put down the mineral water bottle and pointed towards the bathroom, "Would you like to go there together?"
Julia nodded, and put down the mineral water in her hand, "Yeah."
After speaking, the two went straight to the bathroom opposite.
Seeing the two people leave, Sean turned his head and looked outside again.
In a blink of an eye, the girl in the yellow ski suit on the hill was gone...
...
There were gradually more people in the rest area.
A girl with short hair holding a sled board passed by Sean. She looked around in the crowd, as if looking for someone.
Sean turned around. He felt the girl's face was a little familiar.
Just when he was distracted, a loud noise suddenly came from the mountain outside.
The rest area screamed, suddenly chaos.
Large chunks of snow and rocks were rolling down from the mountainside, smashing into the ski resort, making some large and small pits.
The short-haired girl rushed to the floor-to-ceiling window, staring at the hillside with wide eyes in horror.
After a while, she suddenly turned around and ran back. In the crowd, she grabbed a man's hand and asked, "Joey, where is Emma? Why is she not with you?"
Hearing the word “Emma”, Sean turned around abruptly.
Joey stood in the crowd, looking at the scene outside. His face turned pale, and he stammered, "She didn't come down with me. She seems to be still, still on the hillside..."
Before Joey finished speaking, a figure rushed out in a blink of an eye.
Winnie turned around and looked at Sean. She was a little stunned.
...
The people on the hillside desperately ran down the mountain, screaming and crying. However, only Sean was heading up the hillside alone.
When Winnie recognized Sean, she was dumbfounded and said, "Does he want to die?"
When Joey also reacted and ran up the hillside, Sean had already reached Emma’s side first.
Emma was hit in the abdomen by a stone and sat on the ground with a painful face. She couldn't get up at all.
The tender yellow ski suit was too conspicuous. Sean recognized her at a glance.
He ran to her and squatted down. There was still snow falling beside them.
Sean used his body to protect Emma, but did not dare to pick her up easily.
"Emma..." Sean called her name.
When Emma raised her head, Sean saw that her lower lip had been bitten. It was obvious that it so hurt.
"Uncle..."
Tears welled up into in Emma's eye. Her little face was so pale because of the fear. At the moment when she saw Sean, she finally showed it out.
"Hold on." Sean lowered his head. He stared at her when he said this.
Emma nodded lightly. But when Sean hugged her up, she still screamed out because of the pain.
But just as Sean was straightening up, Joey shouted from the bottom of the hillside, "Emma, be careful..."
Almost at the same time, Emma fell to the ground again.
But this time, no snow or stones hit her. Instead, Sean's muffled hum came into her ears. The two fell together.
Emma screamed in pain. Sean's whole body was pressed against her. A stone happened to hit his back.
Sean protected Emma's head with his left hand, and tried his best to support his body with his right hand, for fear of crushing her.
But even so, Emma was still pressed under him, unable to move at all.
Sean's right hand resting on the ground was still wrapped in white gauze, which was firmly suppressed by Emma.
From time to time, there were stones rolling down beside him. Sean pulled out his right hand and stood up again to hug Emma up.
The wounded hand was detached from the gauze. The flesh was out, and the skin that had just grown on it was lifted off again, revealing fresh blood.
Emma was shocked and stretched out her hand to grab his right wrist hand which hugged her, "What's wrong with your hand?"
"Hold me tight. Just leave it alone!"
Being held in Sean's arms, Emma's face was very close to him. She could even feel his breath.
There was sweat on Sean's forehead. Emma didn't know if he was tired or painful.
Seeing that they were approaching the bottom of the hillside, Joey also rushed over. He glanced at Sean, then his eyes fell on the back of Sean’s bloody hand.
Joey stretched out his hand and wanted to take Emma.
But Sean didn't mean to hand Emma to him, but directly said, "Go to call an ambulance."
After finishing speaking, he hugged Emma and walked around Joey, and went straight to the rest area.
Suddenly being ordered by Sean, Joey was stunned for a few seconds before turning around and following.
...
Almost all the people on the hillside had come back. There was a mess in rest area.
The staffs of the ski resort rushed over to help take care of the wounded.
Many people were injured, mostly lightly injured, and a few seriously injured.
The management of the ski resort urgently contacted ambulances. Meanwhile, they took the seriously injured to the treatment room. RêAd lat𝙚St chapters at Novel(D)ra/ma.Org Only
The treatment room was small, which was already occupied by a few seriously injured patients and their families. The rescuers in the ski resort were too busy. Julia and Rowling also rushed to help in time.
