My dear lawyer

Chapter 455 His Game

Chapter 455 His Game

Vivian looked at him with alert, knowing nothing good would happen.

However, his words were hardly avoidable.

William chuckled, "You told me John loved you so much and would do anything for you. Then let's see

how deep his love is?"

"What do you want to do, William?" Vivian suddenly glared at him and said, "I am warning you. Don't

do anything to John. He has a tough time and you shouldn’t force him."

William sneered and felt more jealous of John.

Why should he break the rules again and again because of Vivian? Was he being too gentle to her?

Or should he be more dominant?

William's eyes got cold like being covered in frost. He replied to Vivian in a cold voice, "Well, are you

afraid? Vivian, you’re afraid, aren't you? You are afraid that your present happiness is just an illusion

and John doesn't love you as you expected. Right?"

Vivian bit her lip and said, "William, don't push me. I have told you that my relationship with John is

none of your business. Just mind your own business."

"Interesting! Then you also shouldn't interfere with my business!" William sneered.

William didn't say anything afterwards.

They remained silence on the way. After sending Vivian to the hospital, they didn't talk to each other.

Luckily, Vivian suffered only cuts and bruises. However, the hurts looked scary and shocking in the

nurse's eyes.NôvelDrama.Org holds © this.

Especially seeing Vivian come in with William, the nurse looked at Vivian sympathetically, but didn't

dare to say anything.

Vivian didn't notice her expression because she was in a bad mood.

The young nurse didn't start talking until William went out to pick up his phone, "Well. You should be

careful when finding a boyfriend. You shouldn't be perplexed by their outlook. Your boyfriend was

handsome, but it was true that he mistreated you. When this kind of thing happens once, it will happen

next time. So, you have to take care of yourself."

Vivian was in a daze. After realizing what the nurse meant, she smiled.

William was an abuser?

However, Vivian morbidly liked the feeling of being sympathized.

Vivian shook her head and answered, "He didn't do anything to me. You are wrong about him."

"Ok, fine." The nurse thought she just didn’t dare to tell her the truth and stopped asking.

When Vivian was ready to leave, the nurse warned her again, "Miss Vivian, if you really need help,

please remember to call the police."

She nodded to the nurse to express her gratitude for her suggestion.

William wrinkled after hanging up the phone. However, when he heard the last words the nurse said,

his eyebrows released, "Call the police? Are you going to sue Mrs. Reina?"

Vivian glanced at him and said, "The nurse suspects that you abused me and advices me to sue you."

They had already left the ward and William looked back with an incredible expression. Then, he turned

around and suddenly smiled.

Vivian looked at him and felt strange.

"One of the conditions for domestic abuse is that we have the relationship on a family basis." William

claimed.

Vivian glazed, glanced at him, and kept walking.

William smiled and was in a good mood.

However, he reminded of something when they reached the gate of the hospital.

"With your hurts, do you think any driver wants to get into trouble and picked you up?" William wrinkled.

Vivian shook her phone in front of him and said, "So you mean you want to take me home?"

"To John's place?" William's voice sounded a bit angry.

Vivian shook her head, "Well, it's going to be our home!"

"Well, home!" William left without turning back.

Seeing William's bustling figure, Vivian smiled ironically.

She would believe William was coming to protect her if she hadn't saw William was discussing about

marriage with Angie.

How ironic was that!

Vivian waved her hands along the sideway to call a taxi.

John was anxious because Vivian didn't reply to his calls. Besides, she was taken away by William,

which amplified his uneasiness. He would breakdown if he couldn't get in touch with Vivian.

After driving to all the places that Vivian might go, John couldn't find any clue and could only go home

in frustration.

When he arrived, he saw Vivian was going to get off the taxi.

"Vivi!" John was surprised and hurried to open the door of the taxi.

Vivian looked at him and nodded.

But she dodged his hug.

John wanted to say something but then faltered.

Vivian shook her hands and said, "Just get inside. I'm so exhausted."

"Yeah."

John finally released subconsciously when he saw Vivian was holding a bag, which was obviously from

the hospital.

When Vivian got inside, John didn't apologize for her at first.

Instead, John fetched her a glass of water and said, "Take the medicine first."

Vivian looked at him and held the warm cup, "Thank you!"

John felt frustrated and lowered his head.

Had their relation returned to where they started?

Vivian behaved too polite by saying 'Thank you'.

John apologized after Vivian tooh the medicine, "Vivi. I am sorry."

Vivian rubbed her eyebrows and said, "I know it has nothing to do with you."

However, that didn't mean she would forgive John.

Maybe she was good-tempered, but she was never a Virgin Mary who showed mercy to everyone.

Because she kept forgiving Angie and tolerating her, Roe was hurt many times by her.

But for John

Vivian sighed.

John grabbed her hands, "I am not apologizing for her, but for my behavior of not stopping her. Vivi, I

am truly sorry. William was right. It was my fault for not protecting you at that time."

The corner of Vivian' lip shivered and she answered, "I can understand. She is your mother."

John made a complex expression when seeing Vivian being so considerate and nice.

If any girls fought with their boyfriends' mother, they wouldn't let off it easily and would quarrel over this.

But Vivian didn't blame him at all, except for leaving out of angry.

However, it was this that made John felt he was getting far from Vivian's real thought.

Suddenly, regardless of Vivian's struggle, John hugged her tightly.

"Vivi. I am sorry. I am sorry. I didn't protect you. I promise this is the last time. No matter what happens

in the future, I will always stand by your side. Please forgive me, Vivi, please…" John's head buried

deep in Vivian's neck.

Vivian's heart was softened when seeing John was so penitent.

Vivian finally compromised and rubbed John's back subconsciously.

"Ok, I forgive you."
