The art exhibit was being held at Rivenesco Convention Center.
This was a huge event, and there were many renowned artists involved. The most exceptional of them was Rivenesco’s shining gem, Clara Wyatt.
She was accomplished in calligraphy, painting, and writing, and her works were accepted as exhibits in Lovellia’s international museums. She was very well–known.
Moreover, she was a beauty in her own right, and with her background as a descendant of many renowned figures, she had become a uniquely sought–after rising star in the art world.
In this art exhibition, the other people were just there to fill out the numbers. She was the star of the show.
On the day of the exhibition, many people who admired her attended the venue. Clara’s fans were everywhere.
She may not have been a celebrity, but she had more fame and popularity than some A–list actors and
actresses.
That day, Dustin brought Simone to the convention center.
Clara obviously did not have any good intentions when she sent Shadow Two to deliver those tickets and invite them to this exhibition.
Yet, Dustin still came.
The myth–like existence of the Wyatt sisters in their respective fields had been crafted by him single- handedly.
This was such a big day for Clara, so there was no way he would not be there to “support” her.
Also, Simone was so exhausted because of her work these days. It was a good idea to take her out to
relax somewhere.
“Sir, Miss, these are VIP diamond tickets. You may enter the hall on the fourth floor. You have exclusive rights to auction for the artworks. Please come with me.”
The staff welcoming them was very respectful when Dustin brought out those two tickets.
Dustin was surprised. He did not expect Clara would be willing to waste such good tickets on him.
They followed the staff member to the fourth floor, where there was a luxurious exhibition hall.
The artists exhibited there were all very famous, and the attendees were all dressed glamorously. They were elites.
It looked more like a gala for elites than an art exhibition.
In comparison, Dustin was underdressed. As for Simone, her simple yet stylish outfit stood out among the pearls and gems of the others.
Their appearance attracted some interest immediately
Nearby, there were three young men. They exuded wealth from head to toe. Their clothes were worth at
least a million dollars. NôvelDrama.Org owns this.
They eyed Simone.
Someone of Simone’s beauty was rare. What was special about her was the way she carried herself.
The other socialites in the hall had the gaudiness of riches. Meanwhile, Simone wore light makeup and a dress that was plain yet made her look distinctive.
The young men then looked at Dustin, who was standing beside her. He was dressed like a peasant and did not belong here.
The three exchanged glances and walked over to them.
“Miss, are you from Rivenesco?” a young man asked with a smile. “You are a marvel. I have met all of Rivenesco’s most eligible young ladies. Yet, I don’t remember ever seeing you. It’s truly such a shame.
“If you don’t mind, we should introduce ourselves.”
The three men seemed very polite.
“My name is Simone Langley. This is Dustin Fox. We’re just ordinary people. We don’t have any standing to mingle with the upper class,” said Simone politely as she rejected their offer.
Her response made the three young men even more interested.
Dustin frowned.
These three men were obviously wealthy playboys. Could they have been sent by Clara to cause trouble?
If they were, this scheme seemed rather low even for her.
Dustin’s nose twitched. His face darkened.
His medical skills were excellent, and he was particularly sensitive to the smell of herbs.
There was a faint smell of Amorgenzia powder on them.
It was a rare but powerful aphrodisiac. It was not something that anyone could get their hands on.
The powder was very effective. Under its influence, the victim would not be able to recall anything that occurred under its influence.
